i'd like to start the htc album in horizontal instead of the standard vertical display, but i don't know how..may you help me ?
The OEM HTC Album that comes on the Polaris (Touch Cruise) is by default set to horizontal...am I missing something? Do you mean you want it to be vertical instead? Some of the hacked versions are vertical.

Wondering if there is any way to activate the htc album instead of the regular pictures and video program when you select the photo button on the cube application? not sure if this is confusing, but I was just wondering if there is a hack or something simple I'm not thinking of. Thanks...be gentle , Im a newb....
hmm
hmm, mine HTC album is not working at tnt.1933 . Any idea ??
I would also like to know this, I tried but failed.
If you go into touch flo settings - you can change the path of the pictures icon to the HTC Album.
there's a registry edit, i cannot remember it exactly, but im pretty sure it exists.
however, for some reason it does not work with images off the SD card , at least not with me
edit:
here it is;
HTC Album v1.0.822716_fixed [eng]
- touch picture viewer, install two shortcuts (portrait, landscape)
- possible to install on sd
- not possible to use it from camera screen
- "minimize for exit" set for "0"
- to set album being default viewer go to HKLM - software - htc - htcalbum - default viewer set to "1"

Hi!
I'm having troubles with zooming on a picture at S2V. I've got a Samsung Omnia device and I can't find the DPAD (which is required to zoom in/out) - I've tried to pres every button, but it doesnt zoom.
Please help!
Thanks
The only way i think is to change the settings of the Finger Mouse.
You loose the mouse function, but you can zoom in the pictures.
What do you prefer?
for some reason i can't zoom in using S2V on my Diamond as well
no idea why
on the omnia all you have to do is swipe finger up and down on the touchpad

Restart and.... voilá!!!!
Anyone know how to do this? I try options on full screen, yes full screen, but vertically which the size of video is like never change. I tried to stretch and it's utterly ugly and blurred because it's stretched vertically.
I use to force landscape mode in CorePlayer with:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487991
i scare this thing screwed up my registry again, anyone hav the single registry list for coreplayer landscape mode?
thx anyway, harisg
If it is for video just tap the screen when the video is playing and it automatically goes into landscape. If it is for music it does not look good unless you have a landscape skin and I don't think there are any. To create one is a big job.
Nope, it doesn't, it only became full screen but the video are still vertical and did not enlarge at all,i'm using version 1.3.2

are you running the original rom with the device? or a custom?
and if original, without the manila-landscape registry-edit?
i must say on the original i aways did the manilla-registry-edit.
with the customs it already has the landscape manila (rodium)
Coreplayer has to work in landscape in fullscreen. It has to!
Coreplayer is one of the first appz I try after flashing my phone, and until now, it worked everytime.
So what you have to do is a hardreset, or just flash another rom.

Should work..
Hi.
What I do to rotate any app is to configure the phone button (hold) with the rotate action.
Sounds like the problem is the source material and not the player. It natively rotates when going into full screen so if it doesn't try a different video.
Try a later version of coreplayer then...
Maybe it will work ?
Hi All
Another problem really unfriendly on my topaz..
When you watch your pics it's impossible to rotate them..
Really Bad...
When i check on my Polaris it's possible to rotate the pic with the finger..
Again a feature delete by HTC conceptors...
Do you have a solution for that?
Thanks..

as I think, you can't only disable these two tabs, they belong to the manila module, if you disable their rotation, others will be effected as well, like home, settings, weather, etc.
if you still want to disable all of them, two choice,
a. find a application to adjust the rotation(search it in the forum);
b. remove the manila rotation registry(path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor), remove the manila from ModuleName and WhileList.
i want to enable the rotation of the photo .
the manu and the music can be at rotation but not the photos.
what can i do to that the photos will be in a rotation when i"m ture my device
thank you
there is no manilla and i wanted to do it like how maxy did it with his max manilla

in the registry HCKU\Sofware\htc\manila you have to set "enable fullscreen" (or something like that) to 0 and softreset. it worked for me..
good luck
thanks man u rock
