This program is very good cab editor for all platform (PPC, SMART, etc...).
I'm create and edit eT9 polish language cab file - install and tested on my SPV E650 - all OK

manila 2d

Hi I've installed manila 2D on my omnia i910 and I like it a lot. Was wondering were I could get nice skins....and well I have only 15 MG left......

Yep.....I have no idea how to install them....got a bunch that look pretty nice, but I can't find a theme or skin folder to unzip them in ???? And of course a .cab would be the best for an unknowing dude like me !

most of skins from xda-devs thread are not from your device resolution. Try to search zubnik's skin from that thread, i think that he's using omnia. Maybe u can PM him/her to post skin that u like.
if u have zip file, u have to extract it and send the files to windows folder.
if u have m2dct file format, u need Manilla2d Customizer (read the 1st post from that thread). Or u can also rename .m2dct into .rar, extract it and send the files manually to windows folder
.cab file format? it would be easier coz u only need to run it from your device

Creating Themes?

Hi I was wondering if there was a tutorial anywhere for creating windows mobile 6.5.1 themes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

First of all... you need WinCE CAB Manager to edit CAB and TSK files. Then, you need some graphics editing skills (Photoshop/GIMP/Paint.NET). Just download any themes you like, open the CAB and replace the images you want to change with your own ones. If you want to change the file names, you have to edit the registry values in the TSK as well .
Also, all questions should be asked in the Q&A section; I predict this thread will be moved there in a few minutes like magic .

i have confusion from begining..
how to create registry and by which program?
how to cook it in rom?
i have read mr. makk tut.. but its just highlight..
i want step by step proced.. or something near to it..plz help..

Software you place in the kitchen will have a app.reg to which can just be edited, if it's system changes you want to make or if you just don't want to dig in the kitchen you can export reg & make .cab with all reg edits and add to customization "OperatorPkg\ExtendedPKG"

To get it into rom you need a kitchen.

yes i already had ervius kitchen and i tried lots of time to build rom but i need some improvement

Windows Mobile 5.0 CAB file creation for Flashlite application.

hi all,
i am new to windows mobile development.
i have developed Flash lite 3.0 application . this is standalone application which has flv files as well as back end as XML file .
i need to create the CAB file of all this as package .
Can anybody provide solution how to create CAB file of This one.

There is QuickCab 2.0 Cab Creation that's free but i use WinCE CAB Manager not free but very good.
