I have a Palm treo 750, recently i have faced a problem, while on call it used to show the call timer, now instead of it, it is showing squares in place of the timer. Does anyone know how to fix this problem.

My new xda2i seems to have a glitch, it doesn't like incoming calls. That is to say when I receive an incoming call it does't ring or vibrate. (yes I've set those settings properly!) If I do an SR it will then respond appropriately for a while but not always and not for long.
I thought it might have been something to do with Wibar advance 2.XXX but Ive disabled this and its still doing it, or not as the case actually is here!
Anyone else had these issues or got any thoughts other than send the thing back??
Pete
i have the same problem, and did as well on my old XDA2 and the XDA2s, the XDA2i is no different, after a while the phone gets "cloged up) some times it will ring but as i go to answer it says unable to answer the call, so i ring the caller back and they tell me they had been ringing for ages, and they hear the ringing tone and just think i am not answering the call.
but a spft reset fixes it, i am always soft reseting, and i have learned to live with it

thanks for the post, I guess I'm not the only one then huh? However I dont think SR's are the answer here I think this needs a more thorough resolution. If anyone has any ideas or solutions please respond on this thread.
I had the same problem and found that WisBar Advanced was causing this...
I uninstalled WisBar Advanced and the ringer worked again... There is a new Wisbar Beta that addresses this problem but I have not tried it yet.
Hi guys,
I have "my own" WM6 rom created using awesome Faria's Rom Kitchen v2.
I used to run Core 2 and Underground Edition roms - and encountered the problem in all of these roms.
After HR, everything is smooth and the notification works very well. After a week or two, my phone just stops ringing. My incoming call notification is set to ring & vibrate. It vibrates, the bubble appears - but the phone doesn't ring. - completely silent
I use SPB Phone Suite, thought the problem was some kind of connected to the program, but the issue appears even if the tool is not installed.
What always helps is going to the setup and choosing the ring melody again.
Whoa - the phone rings. A few days (hours) and the problem is back.
Anybody knows how to solve the problem?
I've noticed that my i780 keeps switching itself to vibrate - in addition, at the same time it alters the sound settings for things like "missed call, new email" etc so that even after I switch it back, they no longer have any sound.
Anyone had a similar problem or know what application might be causing the conflict? I've read in a few places that it might be caused by HTC Home?
My Tp delayed around 3 secs then ringing after some1 called me,any1 know how to fix it?
Search for 3 seconds delay and you'll find thats its possible by making some adjustments in the registery
Hi,
the reaseon for the delay is the dialer skin of TP.
If you disable the skin then the phone rings imidiatly. But that's don't satisfy be, because the standard WM dialer is very nasty.
The design is just case of opinion. For me is much better than stupid HTC skin in functionality(Smart dialing with national symbols) and can be skinned as well, even tough default design I like. And WM built-in is much much faster and don't spend system resources as HTC's designed. Only thing, that's missing is video calling feature, but I never use that.
You can use the diamond tweak program to get rid of the delay. I believe the option is under the call area of the program. just download the cab and install it on your device. I would link you but I'm typing this from my fuze. Search should turn it up fairly quickly.
Hope that helps
I guess that will not fix the problem as the setting you are talking about deals with the delay to END a call, not with the delay in the beginning when the phone receives a call.
So the tweak program won't help at all.

The stock dialer skin will remove the delay, but you will also lose the bluetooth icon. In addition I've read that you will no longer be able to use the side keys to change the volume while on a call.

advanced config has the setting for time to end a call (default 3000ms). diamond tweak has the setting for ring with delay or without. i can confirm that setting no delay works great... there's still a small delay but now its just like any other cell phone
btw, since this is just a reg setting (and the end call timing) why the !#[email protected] would MS or HTC implement it? is it supposed to be some sort of feature? it's just annoying as bleep and it doesnt help the publics impression of WM, once again, the phone part is really just tacked on...
Wasn't something mentioned about using a .wav file instead of an .mp3 would help out as well or was that ruled out?
I'm getting this really annoying problem recently in my ASUS P750 with a custom Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM.
Sometimes after sending or receiving a SMS it won't alert on a new SMS after the phone goes to sleep mode on it's own. If I press a key to wake it up then I'll get the SMS alert.
I've also notice that if another SMS is received, it wakes up and gives the alert to the one it "forgot" and the other.
Anyone has any idea what may cause this?
