Treo Today Theme - who can share it ?

Hi,
i want to rebuild a today screen on my hw6915 which is identical to the Treo750, therefore i'm looking for this kind of brown today theme.
Can somebody with a Treo upload the tsk to this thread ?
Maybe we can also share in this thread all today plugins, so that we have one place for all plugins instead of multiple ones ?

Themes, Skins and Dr Gonzos WM6.1 v1.1

Ive recently flashed my vodafone v1415 with the brilliant Dr Gonzos WM6.1 rom.
So far Ive been really pleased and had no issues other than being able to get a theme to be consistent.
Ive installed some WM6.1 themes from the forum here and they change the menu colours and background images but the call progress screens and branding brick are still the ones from the WM6.1 rom.
I know where all there images exist but do i have to customize theses each time i want to change my theme?
surely upon a new theme being installed theses should be changed accordingly?

Most themes do not set these screens. Complete ones that come packed as a CAB might add a new incoming/outgoing call screen, information screen and brandingbrick - however the majority of themes do not.

1) Get the original HTC ones installed?
or
2) Where could I find some .cab themes which would do this?

Hm, I can make you a cab with the original HTC version of branding brick and call screens, if that is what you want and if I can find the files! Otherwise, my in theme hread (signature), there are three version of branding brick and call screens which go nicely with my themes!

It isn't really a problem if I can just get hold of the files that would be fine.

M2D master skinners please help a novice!

I installed Manilla 2D over Schaps 3.54b ROM for Tytn.
As i loved the skin Shifu made for his cooked Kaiser ROM v 3.0 called "Rock and Republic brown", and as i didn't find this theme anywhere i tried to apply this skin to my Tytn copying from Kaiser all the images beginning with "hh_" plus "HTCHomeSettings.xml", "Wallpaper.jpg", "wallpaperL.jpg" and "HH_0410_WeatherCities.xml" in Tytn's Windows folder and then applying "Rock and Republic Brown.tsk" theme in Today settings.
The result i got is shown in the second picture below. The first one is the correct look the theme actually has on Kaiser.
I'm wondering how i can change color of the purple upper and lower frames to match the original look and how to adjust the background frame of clock in the correct position. Clock also lacks of colon and displays an undesirable flipping every minute change, not enough some text around is missing.
Surely this is not an hard task for a skin guru, anyone can help me understand a little more?

Ooooh nice idea. But Star trek xi or TNG version ? I made an LCARS theme for the Kaiser a few years ago, might do so again when I get the time.

I found out that there is a really cool theme for WM-devices, but unfortunately only for QVGA and VGA screen resolutions:

If this were available for WVGA (480x800) it would be absolute fantastic!!
Maybe, if many people ask the developer for it, he will also release a WVGA version??? I think, it's worth a try!

Wow, just tried the VGA version of LCARS and its amazing. Quality is ok even at WVGA resolution. You do lose a lot of the functionality from SenseUI, but I was just running LCARS just to show off the phone to some trekies it's fun to watch them squirm and beg to own the PADD...eh, I mean phone

I also tried VGA version of LCARS but the text isn't displayed right - some words aren't readable, it's not really compatible to WVGA devices.
But i contacted Neil (the creator) and he is willing to make a WVGA version but the problem is that he doesn't have a WVGA device.
Therefore i recommended him to start a donation thread at XDA - in order that he will be able to buy a HTC Touch HD or HD2 and can start working an making a WVGA version of pocketLCARS.This would be really cool!

Last year I developed a network monitoring program for my company based on lcars. Normally the font is still ugly but if you activate cleartype the font will be rendered and is still readable

which version of Lcars are you trying ? the original or the newer one based on WAD2?

I doesnt run on my phone.
I install it like it stays in the readme.txt

Why don't you just contact the company? Creator? He will sort any problems out with you.

WM6.5/Touchflo ROM with Flip-Clock & Weather ?

Hey Guys - I've poured over these threads and am a bit confused about the versions of HTC touchflo. What are my options, if any, that allow running WM6.5 and getting the flip-clock with weather beneath it? Is this possible? Or is this only touchflo 3d, which hasn't been cooked into a wizard rom?
Or maybe I should be able to change the look of the clock for this touchflo but I haven't been able to find it?

I think what you mean is the HTC home plugin, right? I would say that you could use any 6.5 ROM and install the HTC home plugin to get the features you want (by the way, I just found this in a German ROM somewhere here, check out the "SKYNET ROM v6", post #7- Seems it's working there and should of course work for any English version, too). Thanks for replying Andreas. I did some more searching and I think the name associated with the look I want is "sense" ... i don't see a wizard ROM for that yet. But maybe i'm missing something? I've attached a pic.

hm... well, I don't know this one. But guess what- I'd be interested in this too Sorry I couldn't help. Personally, I don't like the 6.5 default look either and I keep always changing to even the 'old' 6.1 home screen, simply because I have all the information I need on one screen. I prefer this over a fancy look. But the thing you are looking for seems to do the job, too. Let's hope someone can jump in and solve the issue

Once i ask cracing why dont use this on a rom.
1- this new touchflo is to big
2- our processor is to slow to process the flip clock, you can imagine...there is a lot of deferents images all the time change.
3- there is still bugs on ported version (maybe now this is not more valid)
Just one more thing, the picture is the 3d version, this one is IMPOSSIBLE to get in a non 3d acceleration device, but there something like that in 2d.

I've run this (the 2D version anyway) on a Wizard, by installing cabs onto a fairly naked 6.5 rom. It's slow, and takes too much memory and storage. It sure is pretty, though.
I think I used an "MSD-Series" rom as the base. I can't remember for sure.
I often try 6.5 but my favorite roms are 6.1. Even there, Manila2D is a hog.
RoryB's latest ExtROM-based Angel rom and TechTeamup's NSN rom are pretty evenly matched as my favorites right now. Both come with M2D. NSN loses points for using an older version, but Angel loses points for requiring tweaks to get the album view and music tabs to work properly.

Its New HTC Manila from HTC Mega having Flip-Clock and Weather on home screen. It can be found here.
As it has many images ( for making animation like flip clock ), it makes the device slower. So its only good for newer qvga devices having 400+ mhz CPU speed and 128+ MB RAM or users how use there device rearly.

It realy looks great but as Cracing and n2rjt and boto said: It needs to much RAM and CPU power! And is has no real landscape mode wich is a problem if you use it on a phone with a slide-out-keyboard like the Wizard. I did not only installed the CABs but cooked it into my ROM. I flashed it, tested it and 2 days later I already flashed an other ROM again because it is not usefull at all.
