Using utility aWizard and imgfs.exe with Tornado

I am still looking for "easy way" to backup rom from my c600 to PC.
I have used sda-application-unlock don't know if its necessary
I then have used spvservices to unlock phone for sim and cid
Then I have found a utiliy called awizard 1.3b from this forum which then using the -b options creates a backup of rom to pc.
I then have:
C600-ExtRom (Folder:empty)
boot.gru 25kb
c600-HTCLogo.nba 64kb
c600-OS.nba 36864kb
c600-radio.nba 2560kb
c600-splash.nba 192kb
How can I be check that these file are fine to flash again? I know the utility is for Wizard but everything went fine using the awizard program and I am really tempted to flash to see if it could work
Also the tool says that it doesn't touch bootloader so then I can reflash again if there is problem?

I have renamed the c600.nba file to nk.nba
then I have used prepare_imgfs.exe nk.nba -nosplit -mpx200
then I used viewimgfs.exe imgfs_raw_data.bin
and it created a dump directory! It looks like the original ROM ! But I have to check more... any help?

Does anyone has try this method? I've also made a backup of my ROM but I hesitate to flash it again...
How do you do to backup and flash your ROM without any risk with your SPV C600 ?
I know it's a noob question but there is no thread about spv c600 backup.. I'm wondering if it's the same way for a Wizard or if I need a special tool for Tornado??

Does not seem to be of much interest people here :? Everybody seems to prefer SD card backup....
Maybe when I will have a second C600 which is still under warranty I will try...

Does exist any easyier proces then proces with itsutils tool for extracting inicial ( factory ) ROM from TyTN II - Kaiser ?

WM 6.1 19202 rebuild

Hi,
I am a litte bit confused.
I took the latest build from NoThrill (WM 6.1 19202) and wants to add some more tools. (Using the kaiserkitchen from Alexis kaiserkitchen_01-20-08.rar).
The orginal RUU_signed.nbh has a size of approx. 90 MB, but after cooking the rom with the "HTC Rom Tool 1.1.0" the new nbd has only a size of 80MB.
I checked in "HTC Rom Tool" only the OS-File. Is that the reason ?

if you used kaiser kitchen then the OS.nb was run through Taz's imgfs tools so it makes the rom have more storage and also shrinks the rom size down a bit so you should be fine if you got no errors while building it.

Sounds about right, the NoThrills version has an OS but also has Radio rom and a SPlash screen, these will add to the size of the nbh

I have Qtek S200 (Prophet) with wm6.1 rom and Touch DualPad installed. Recently install pocket console and found that HTC3GVT.dll trying to load HTC3GVTStack.dll witch depends on HTCMIDCODEC_QVP.DLL. I think that this files needed for dualpad video function.

Ok since much time has past and our fellow Russians have developed win6.5 ROM but the only problem is that its in Russian! its for free but only in russian language. so i contacted a guy who did ROM and he told me that he doesnt do cooking anymore and he gave me links to kitchens and tools but he didnt gave me any manual or tutorial. I will put these links here so that people more experianced in ROM cooking could provide us with English or other language ROM. Oh and a guy named Veisen did an auto kitchen but it has problems with SMS and Wifi network as well as with some other functions.

For build new ROM for hp ipaq 514 need:
1)Make dump from worked smartphone.
Use pdocread tools from collection http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=XdaUtils
Need dump two partition IMGFS and XIP
2)Decompile dump, use tools from kitchen
3)Add OEM file from original ROM to ROM-donor
Or use BuildOS tools for make package list.

4)Build imgfs and xip
5)Convert imgfs image to *.OSx files and build .nbf file
5)Write .nbf to smartphone
Exclude .bl, .xl, .yl (bootloader's) file from you ROM for safe smartpone.
If new firmware bad - you look bootscreen, splash-screen and stop.
My tools from kitchen not worked for official ROM.

And since i'm total dumbass with this and faild to build it, someone post here if you have any success whit building the ROM.

i dump Part00, Part01 and Part02 raw and than i dont know how to extract them, i know that 00 and 01 are XIP and 02 is IMGFS but i dont know how to extract them or i have failed to do it...
