You meant to say with the same ROM and same settings ? Did you check the ROM flashed has 128 MB support? Check the advanced power settings option after a soft reset.

read the first two Stickies in the thread about USPL, and get a Signature with your exact device type.
Welcome.
I´ve flashed the new PDAViet rom today.
It looks good, installed programs are ok. But the speed of the rom is not very good.
I use my Elfin also for navigation with mobile navigator. Only with ShadoW 2.1 TE the navigation is fast and in real time...
I´ve tested all roms which are here for download. But at the moment Shadow´s rom is the fastest usable rom for me.
I flashed my Elfin to many times using USPL but this one not working already tries 3 times always same error afer 3% restart whats the problem in this rom???

I do not believe you have tested them all... really.
I have ested Cloud's Rom's to because i like to compare.
And it is not the fastest. But it is fast.

You can trust me. I´ve tested all roms which were made available here since the last year. I´ve tested them of course only the way i use the touch. Therefor Shadows rom is the fastest.
good
good Rom...

In your opinion, which PagePool has the fastest/best performance since you tried most of the ROM?
I've been using 18PP, and it seems to be quite stable for me (with PDAViet V40)
I can´t say something about pagepool or something else. I think the composition makes the difference.
All roms for Elfin you can download here have been flashed to my device. Today i flashed back to ShadoW 2.1 TE `cause it´s the fastest rom on my elfin...
upload it on any other server other then rapidshare.
Howdy all, was just wondering are there htc color icons available for winmo 6.1 for touch diamond 2?

No. They will NOT effect your memory or battery use.

How is your rom of winmo6.5 you got on your phone? I am getting my TD2 this weekend and I am wondering I've it is not better for me waiting for the official 6.5 upgrade. Or is it safe loading the roms on a brand new phone.

I install a new colour icons taskbar that I choose, with my brand new TD2 with ROM: 1.39.410.0 (47382) PT - very default one with NO problems at all.
Hi
Where can I get official English 6.5 rom(original rom)?
Thanks
For the Wing?
There never was one, and there will never be an official Windows 6.5 release for the Wing.
From what I know of... at least.
The only ROM that is original that you can get for the Wing would be a WM6.1 ROM. You can get it from your service venders' site.
But, I'd recommend trying to use one of the ROMs we created here on XDA, if you're interested in using WM6.5. Now if you're looking for latest WM6.5.5, I think I am the only one who has cooked it. But there are about 10 other cooks that have cooked a WM6.5.3 based ROM.
is it this one?

So I can go on Tmobile and get WM 6.1 for my wing? I kno wI have looked and never seen anything before?
Yeah. Here is the link:
http://dl.htc.com/ruudownload/t-mobileUS/Filedownload.aspx?pid=wing
ha, I can install via sd card. I am going to have a try. My ie broken, I don't know why
In my latest sd version, mobile IE is working, lol, so no worries there.
And it feels like the Wing is at 250MHz - not the original 201MHz.
I downloaded SD version and installed.
But it doesn't have camera.exe???
How to deal with it?
and can not be turn off
You're the second person that has actually told me about that. I am cooking that in right now as I type. I will update asap. And I will report back when I do.
en, Thank you. I am waiting

Quick question... Do you have a specific reason to NEED to turn the phone off?
Besides the occasional softreset, I don't ever reboot by phone.
I want to change battery

I only know two with 3d...have you tried pcarvalho´s and kostas rom...both make a version with 3d....
i think all roms here are stable.....
But for what you need 3d...the 3d rom´s have only 85 mb total ram (instead of 100mb) and free about 25-30 mb...so i think your problem´s with unstable come from the low ram...(have read much about this problem...and also tried myself)
3d is a bit faster but the low ram is why it´s unstable
and best radio i think is 1.59.44.02 and 1.59.46.12
Mine have no 3d...but i think it´s very stable....and you can decide if you want m2d or not....free ram about 50 mb....look in my signature...also in is a steps post (for safe flash)
with kind regards..Alex

I do not miss bloatware What about version of this android ? is it stable ? Any bug list ?
Thanks my friend
Flashed the firmware in the morning. It was fast and snappy. Nothing to say about the battery yet because it was just around 8 hours. However, it seems to last quite long as it just drop to 80% battery since 90% like 6 hours ago.(don't know yet. Need to test till next morning to say more about the battery life.) Well it was bloated with orange stuff. You can choose between orange or twlauncher UI after flashing. Changing of language is also easily done. Did benchmark on linpack and quadrant. Both still around the same score as in JPF. However, the phone does feel a little more snappier than in JPF. That's all i would say for now.
By the way, the above testing was made with rooting and lagfix V2 installed.
Regards.

I agree with you, until someone says otherwise. The positive is that it is branded, as 5801, and IMEI loss is less likely. More information about the performance is needed.

Hi Guys,
I have upgraded to BVJP9 since it was released. Here are my comments:
Pros:
1. BVJP9 feels faster than JPF but when music player is ON, it lags a little which i never felt in JPF
2. Battery is far better than JPF. Its 14 hours now and my phone has 50% battery.
Bluetooth ON since morning, data service running continuously, moderate calls, listened to music for 4-5 hours. I feel satisfied with battery performance
3. Consumes less memory than JPF. With all my applications installed JPF would use around 184MB ram but this seems restricted to 164 (20MB less)
4. no dropping of battery from 50 - 10 in a moment. battery goes down gradually 50-40-30 (saw all these)
Cons:
1. Users with vodafone connection in India with vodafone mobile connect service ON will face more call drops as compared to JPF
2. Lots of orange stuff, which is not required. If someone can help remove them, would be great
3. Orange boot animation which i personally dont like
4. layar removed
5. Installed applications size is not displayed, which makes me feel that this could be a beta version
6. I faced issue while upgrading from JPF. I had to downgrade to DDJG6, wipe data and upgrade. If anyone faces issue like cannot mount file during upgrading process, they can try to downgrade to DDJG6, wipe data, wipe cache and upgrade to this one
Note: I have not applied lagfix only superuser
