What is the best radio rom to T-mobile USA which will eliminate missed and dropped calls and provide better call reception?
2.26.11 T-mbile radio rom
02.19.11 UK w/XDA Cingular WM6 Radio Fix2.cab
Additionally, can you flash either rom after installing TNT 5.0 Touchflo outright?
Can somebody post the roms for each radio listed above on this thread?
Thanks.....
I use 2.69.11. You can flash it after TNT5.0 as the flash only modifies the radio rom.
The installer is on the xda FTP site under /Wizard/Radio_Roms/ as "faria 02.69.11.rar"
radio rom question
technobluff--
You will probably need to experiment to see which radio will offer you the best reception, no-missed-calls, etc.
Yes, you can flash the radio rom of your choice after flashing your PPC with whatever flavor of WM6.
Mfrazzz has all of the radio roms that you asked for here in post #2

2.26 should be best

Is the Cingular 2.25.11 radio in the above post the same as the US T-Mo 2.25.11? I want to try at that 2.69 radio but want to make sure I can easily get back to my T-Mo 2.25.11 if start having problems with it.
I Did Try 2.69 But It Eating Your Battery Very Fast , 2.6.11 The Best For What I Seen , Been Using It For 6 Months
Anybody has the link to the 2.26 radio rom for tmobile?

I would think so too???
Why use the UK 2.19?
so we run the flash for radio, and then the radio fix?
Or other way around.

Not a bad radio but I experience missed calls and there are no notifications at all letting you know there were calls or messages or voicemail at all.
I reccomend T-Mobile 2.19.11 UK Radio with cingular radio fix 2 patch.
tmobile site
Thats for the entire rom. I was also looking for just the radio rom portion
Anybody running the 2.61 radio rom for Tmobile? What is your experience on missed calls and reception?

I'm tellin you, you want to use the 2.19.11 UK radio plus the cingular radio fix2. I have tried every radio mentioned in this thread in the pursuit of resolution to the missed call and bad reception problems and finally found it with the 2.19.11 radio.
I have attached the radio and the patch.
You should give it a try.(IMHO)
Instructions:
create new folder and extract both zips to that folder
Run RUU and phone will reboot itself
You now have 2.19.11 UK Radio
Now copy the attached cab to your device and install the cab.
Soft reset and youre good to go.
thank you for the straight up install answer.
I went ahead and did it.
I am soft resetting as we speak
how can I confirm that it worked?
Thnx!!

You will just notice a considerable spike in your reception where you already had decent reception and also places where you had no service before, you see that you have enough of a signal to make a phone call or send a text.
For example, when I am at home, I always have reception with the original radio, but with the 2.19.11 radio I have full signal in my basement.
When I would go to my girlfriend's friends house out in the middle of nowhere, I had no signal at all with any other radio, but with the 2.19.11 radio, I have 2 bars and can still call and text freely. It's funny because my girlfriend who also has t-mobile has no signal at all on her razr out there... lol

As some users, including me, have serious 3G problems, it would be great if someone who has a newer radio rom then 1.27.12.17, could dump the rom and share it with us ? I noticed that the phones from NL and/or DE have maybe newer radio roms then htc.

mmm I think you need a NBH file to extract the radio NB apart and flash with CustomRUU. I Beleave you can't extract the radio from the device (but i'm not sure...).

I am also using Radio version 1.27.12.11 on the AT&T Network in the US and I have no issues with my data connections. My phone switches between 3G and HSDPA while browsing/downloading, and my mobile speedtest is rated at 1.2mbps.
you can not dump a radio from a device sorry to say you have to have the .NBH containing it
I was having serious 3G issues in Northern Viginia. Every time my phone tried to get onto 3G, it would crash the radio. I'd lose voice and data. Edge and GPRS worked fine. Grabbed the 1.27.12.17 from ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Kaiser/Radio/KAIS_Radio_Only_1.27.12.17_CustomRUU.rar and things work great now. ~1.1mbps.
Thanks for the radio link! Appears to be working fine with AT&T in NJ, USA on my Tilt with the Helmi Kaiser 1.57.000.1 AKU.0.7.0 cooked ROM.

I noticed the "radio" in question has a lower version than i have on my tilt. I am curious if this one is actually newer and if anyone else is using it. If it is newer and others would like it to play with, i would glady dump it. I will need to find out how to dump it as i have never tried to dump one before. My device information page shows the radio version as 1.65.21.18

What's the best IPL/SPL/Radio combination to be using on a G3 Cingular (AT&T) 8125 in America with a TNT.1933 rom?
Right Now I'm using IPL/SPL 3.08 and Radio 2.69.11.
it depends on your area.
Different radio roms will work better in different places.
Some people swear by 2.69, some don't. 2.19 is the most stable when it comes to radio roms. You might loose a little signal, but all of your calls will come in.
I have been using 2.69 for the past two days and missing calls like never before... back to 2.19 for me
I used to have a lot of missed call problems with different roms. Now I have been using radio 2.69 & Cingular radio fix2 with XM6rc5 with a great success. No missed call so far.
I'm using 3.08/3.08 and 2.69.11.. not having any issues.. I'm on cingular/att in the north san diego area.
3.08/3.08 and 2.19.11uk radio for me, been working pretty good. I don't run that cingular radio cab, whatever the hell its supposed to do. I tried it once, all it did was screwup my network tab, screw that, works fine without it.

Its a matter of trial an error. I recently updated to 1.27.12.17 and it seems to be ok. The main issue most people are upgrading or changing is battery life and reception. If you aren't having an issue with either, I would leave it...
do you guys happen to know the stock radio version for tmobile wing? and will it work for the tilt? im having reception problems
T-Mobile wing is not the same as the AT&T Tilt.

Hi guys
I am currently running Q-Mobile v1.2 on my Vario III which I must say is working nicely. I bought my phone on Friday and have flashed my phone 4 times in as many hours!
I also upgraded the radio rom from the stock t-mobile to 1.27.12.32. It works ok now and then but then it suddenly drops coverage for minutes at a time.
Anyone has a radio rom that just works on T-Mobile UK flawlessly?

I've tested all radios whether in Orange or T-Mobile the best is the one you are using (1.27.12.32) subject to rom installed..
I've got similar results with 1.27.15.32 but battery drain much faster using this one...
I'm on T-Mobile UK myself and have experienced exactly the same problem with network coverage being frequently lost for several minutes. I'll try 1.27.12.32 myself to see if this improves matters. Thanks for the advice.
