Hi,
I would like to port my cooked ROM to 19213 SYS. The ROM boots fine but all the provxml's files are ignored at startup.
Can someone tell me how to correct this problem ?

did u delete the coldinit.lnk from shell folder? also check if an entry for this is present in initflashfiles.dat or not.

I didn't change the initflashfiles.dat file. It seems related to the kitchen...

Yes, it's in shell folder.... It's not the first time it happens but I never solve this problem.

well, i never face this problem with kaiser's and diamond's build if i keep the coldinit.lnk in shell. try using a newer build like 19915, 19949 or 19965 and see if u still get this problem.

I test all most WM5 rom, and I can say that aku3.3.13Aserg is the best
Why?I test many ROMs,but no one of these ROM can open the program "XROSE" which is a free SMS program in China.And,many WM5 ROMs' memory lose fastly,even I don't open any program.I don't know why~

Ive maded a cab file from diamond phonecanvas pack.
the new phone layout works, but in vga mode (even if ive resized all images).
i think there is the same dlls problem like in manila software...
if someone know how to edit the dll file...

My guess is the file size or format is wrong for direct upload. I can make a folder in my 4 shared for you to upload to or you can grab one of your own.

I also try to port it. You need also the fonts from the manilla OEM dir.
There are some things hardcoded in the dll. Like 'touch' places on the touchscreen and more.
i have made a cab for phone canvas based off of the htc opal.
feel free to test it.
i havent tested it so backup or do whatever you need because im not 100% positive it'll work.

And is there a way to extract the PhoneCanvas from the HyperDragonIII rom that has it, it is a working version. Or is it just that the OEM version works, but when you make it into a cab it wont?

Hi all,
I'm trying to port the SYS from the build 20273.1.1.3. Problem is, I can't find a base ROM that has that same build. I've tried using the ppcgeeks.org kitchen, but then my device won't boot. I've managed to port the XIP, but that's because I got the xip.bin from a source. Does anyone know where I can get the SYS folder or at least the BaseROM with the build 20273.1.1.3?

Why dont port the xip of source? Why do you need same build? Using bepe`s or other techniks gives you same CE OS and Build.

Thanks man! Anything special about these drivers? ddi.dll is bigger. The registry has references to Chinese keyboard so that would have to be changed for English ROMs.
Is the 3.14 much different from 3.07 or 3.10?

touch.dll is also different from 3.07 and 3.10, so i think we should test the new TouchFLO from this ROM. also it seems the build of this ROM is 20761

Yes, yes, this is true! Build should not be lower than AKU1.4. In RGU is the key to stop scrolling MS.

The Opal version of biotouch.dll was a little better than the 3.07/3.10 Elfin version.... so I hope 3.14 has an even better version with no problems.
The main question is... why is there this new release for the Elfin? Nobody sells this anymore, it's almost 2 years old.

TouchFLO shortcut under Settings only shows a blank white screen when opened.
Anyways i'm going to bed.
I'm using the settings TouchFLO all good.

orange uk shops are selling the elf touch still on pay and go for £140. i got mine a few weeks back from them , its a bargin so i assume other orange shops are doing the same . my radio when i first got it was 07.something it was a good radio but i changed it out of inerest in other radios and now cant find 07 anywere .

You can find the file transcriber.exe in the windows directory. just make a shortcut to your programs folder and start transcriber.
But without stylus it is useless, isn't it?

I have flashed a rom from Laurentius without the transcriber.exe. but in the stock rom the file is in the windows folder. so unfortunately I cannot help you.
