Skins For Dutty Roms

I am a dutty rom freak and install everything he puts out
his newest 6.1 rom rocks my socks
im not sure i like the red, even though it is growing on me
i think dutty linked to an alternate skin but it was just for cube
i saw a rom by SLither with a BADASS skin, but im not putting any non dutty rom on my piece
anywhere i can get roms for Dutty 6.1 ...oh and yes i did forum searxh first

ROM's for Dutty...what do you mean by that...you mean applications?

i think he meant skins, colors, etc...right?

He is probably confused that the UI colors are exclusive to a certian rom, all you need is to install a cab that adds the theme to your device, no rom flashing needed. Once you have one rom you can add anything to it that can be installed via cab or from active sync via computer.

i do mean skins ...like the slither rom skin is SICK, so cool
i need some good skins

try the HTC Home Customizer. i like it. works for me...

where do i find some slick .cabs ...not just mircosoft BS
also how the hell can u get the customizer to wotk in 6.1... i love it in 6.0 but now it wont change my clock, nor icons

I'd like to know that too. I flashed Dutty's WM6.1 into my Kaiser and installed HTC Home Customizer, but it won't change anything.

Copy the contents of the htc home folder into the windows directory.Reset,customize

Thanks, it's kinda working now. Maybe I'll have to reset, but I'm expecting an important call, so I'll hold off for a while.

Ok you got to it before I could edit it. Internet went out for a few.
Same thing just a few extra steps in the method described previously. Things should be good after a reset.

Point UI

Hy guys yesterday i`d seen a video on You Tube whit the Point UI.This tool is very very cool and i whanted to share with you so here it isn black scheme and on blue scheme

Better get it from their web site for the latest. But I think the Slider that came with GnatGoSplat's WM6.1 cooked ROM is better - get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=375670

I realy enjoyed the point ui plugin...it lokes great..

Hmmmm... enjoy

Point Ui is nice, it's free and is almost as good as SPB Mobile shell. I have tried both on my Hermes and Wizard, personally, I like the Slider that comes with GnatGoSplat's WM6.1 cooked ROM much better. If I was using 3.7 or Nitro's rom, I would change too Point UI.

Titanium Panels

Hi peeps!!!
I found the titanium panels on this thread :

It looks so nice (See Screenie) , but when i slide the keyboard on the vox, it crashes..... (It changes back to the old sliding panel thing, with some icons being corrupt)
Does anyone have a fix for this??

hi, i just installed homescreen.cab and phone freezes after booting. its not connecting to the comp either! what to do?

Do not install the homescreen.cab on a WM6.1 (WM6 is useless anyway as it does not have the sliding homescreen). On 6.1 it will spoil your sliding panels homescreen.
Unfortunately the CAB installed cannot be uninstalled easily - it does not create an "uninstall" entry. Delete the installed bronzeres.dll from \windows - then it works again as it should. Still you have some garbage left on the device, further cleanup:
- delete the 2 titanium*.cpr files in \Windows
- revert back to old registry content at HKLM\Software\Microsoft\CHome
The latter can only be done if you have backup of your registry and can easily delete and insert complete branches. Tools for that are:
- Registry Workshop (not free)
- CeRegEditor (free): http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/index.php?lang=en

For me it does work very well...it has also fixed the clock issue in landscape mode. Great FH!

I use the multilanguage 6.1 ROM from frauhottelmann, which do you use?

It did not work for me either I just got loads of red X where there should on been icons.

I had my favourites on the homescreen aswell. But dissapeared.
It still shows as active on CHOME......
How do i get it to appear again?
I tried re installing it, but did not work!

You can't get them back yet. The *.cpr file doesn't support all standard panels of 6.5 Standard! I will add some!

Well, your update has some bugs: I don't have settings panel, instead of it I have some "0" around Texts, Mails, etc. And I don't have any text in Texts panel. Take a look at screenshots:

Try restarting the phone, if that doesn't help reinstall the CAB! This happened to me before too. I don't know why it occurs!

To get around this small problem I installed the Titanium in the Tweaks folder
the went into Chome then Hide text save and exit.
then I got your Titanium.cab installed stalled that and all was well
perfect...
But I still cant get Clear storage to work or find any weather app
but I will keep trying..

@ LittleMerc, yes of course ! when you using my skin, disable HTC sence and after if you don't want using my skin, unistal Wisbar advance desktop 2 and enable HTC sence
@ matriarchsira, yes, but it's so easy to translate in english : apply on the screen a long push and clic on "author mode" now, apply a long push on the word and them "propriété", here you can change the word, use Google translate to help you, it's no dificult

I cannot install the skin, im doing everything as you said in readme file, but when im going to install the skin, it cannot install it It gives error.
Tried on 3 different wm builds

I tried it last night and it works great on my phone!
It's just like having a mini pc on my palm.

i really like what i'm seeing there. the idea is great.
but one thing. is it finger-friendly enough to use it with the hd2. some buttons are looking quite small... any experience?

But only one thing...even thought a 4.3inch capasitive screen without a stylus is making the hole theme unusable very little buttons that
even after 10 tapings you cannot press the button!Scroll bars doesn't work in the windows.

hi i have downloaded the theme.. but for some reason i cant extract it...tried multiple times with different tools, and even redownloaded the theme a couple of times.... ... got any ideas how to solve?

And installed Touchlfow, Alothugh when i tryed a touchflo theme (Gracing)
Its came up realli small in the top right hand side....
Any ideas?

Coz Iolite is a QVGA device...

Owww, Is the a file for uni?

Probably you need new skin and edit xml file to match VGA size.

look at the supported devices it's all QVGA.... i also had a look at this before just to find it's QVGA....

here is a VGA port of touchflow 2d.... try and let us know of you findings...

Well, I might just have to XD
Anyway to the results.
Using;
IOLITE M2D (touchflo)
Manila 2D Customizer
HTC Home v.2.1
Base ROM: Tomals V12 Wm 6.5
I uninstalled every program that was installed and then installed the following Programs, Applyed a theme (Gracing)
But to my disapointment it only came up very small, (in the top left hand coner)
But as of ever, i then went to the XDA - Dev Uni section and found a way to fix the problem, Althoguh with GCSEs mocking started (now finished) i have to drop the testing for revision.
But i wish to say: Touchflo runs alrightly, Will try the Touchflo Fix and Reportback =]
