Problems backing up O2 XDA II mini

Hi, I'd like to upgrade to 1.11 but before I do that, I'll obviously need to back-up my current ROM. I've followed the ROMUPDATE back-up guides but everytime that I try to access the O2 via USB, I get only a message, CLIENTCLIENTCLIENT... Does anyone know, what's wrong with it?
And instead of ROMUPDATE, could I also use XDATOOLS > OSIMAGETOOL for ROM back-up?
PS. Any rumours when O2 will make their romupdate downloadable from the internet? I wouldn't want to go to all the way from US to an Asian service center for an upgrade...

Safety Backup of my JAMin original WM5 ROM

Hello Guys!
I have a JAMin G4 that a marketing company gave me for a daily survey.
It's software branded by WIND (an italian mobile provider). I'd really love to flash it with a WM6 ROM but I didnt do that because I'm afraid I won't be able to restore it as it was when they gave it to me.
So...
Is there a way to back-up my original WM5 rom, flash the WM6 and, when it will come the time to give back the Jamin to the owner, flash back my original WM5?
I've tried to find the answer with the "Search" but nothing came up...
Can you help me?
Thanks in advance,
Bodhi3

How do I backup my MDA Vario III ROM?

Ok, I've just had to send my Vario III back for a warranty repair. Before doing so I wanted to flash it back to the Official T-Mobile rom as it was currently running the official HTC WM6.1.
Thanks to this forum I managed to get a reconstructed T-Mobile ROM and flash it, but that had the wrong radio ROM and then I had to find and flash the T-Mobile boot screen etc...
It wasnt the most pleasant/ stress free day I've ever had, but I got there in the end.
Anyway, its now back and so far so good, but they have flashed it with new software, but it's still only wm6. Before I go ahead and re-flash wm6.1 what is the best way to backup/extract the software as it stands now so if i ever need to send it back again it should make it a hole lot easier.
