I have a Moto Q Global and I have tried several different bluetooth headsets/headphones. They all play the phone's ring tone through the headset and the phone speaker when you get a call. Is there a way to have it not play any sounds through the phone's speaker. (only play the phone's ring tone through the bluetooth headset) THANX!

I have a Jawbone Icon, and I've noticed when I get phone calls with the bluetooth headset on, I'm not hearing the ringtone through the headset. I can use the phone through the bluetooth, but the ringtone isn't coming through. It plays through the speakers. Is there a way to fix this?
Hi everyone,
I use headset to listen to songs during traveling (which most people do ). However when I receive a call and if I unplug the headset while on a call, the phone enters loud speaker mode instead of earpiece. I have to activate and deactivate the speaker on phone twice to handle the issue. Can anyone guide me to a solution that when I unplug the headset while on a call it goes to earpiece instead of loud speaker? I use Moto G and OS is Kitkat 4.4.3. Headsets used : various

I've connected a headset to my Mi 4 LTE edition but it appears that even though all other sound is directed through the headset itself, calls still ring from the loudspeaker/built in speaker which puzzles me because I cant seem tho find a setting to correct this behavior under sound settings.
I have enabled Mi Piston-1 as a headset profile if that matters.
Any idea if this is normal behavior and if not, is there a setting hidden elsewhere to control it?
My bluetooth (Mpow Swift) headphones works just fine in calls, but oddly cut outs playback if i turn on any recorder. Several of the voice recorder apps I've found had "background recording", so i chalk it up to the headset. Is there a app i can use or headset i can buy to fix this?
I'm using a rooted Moto G x1032, with Cyanogenmod and Lollipop.
I want incoming call ringtones to sound over the speaker, even when the headset is plugged in.
I have two Galaxy Note 4 phones, both on Marshmallow. and similarly configured. One phone is OK, but the other switches the ringing to headset whenever it's plugged in. (the problem appeared only after upgrading to marshmallow. Lollipop directed to speaker, just like I wanted)
I installed Soundabout but routing incoming call ringtones to speaker (when headset is plugged in) did nothing.
However configuring all MEDIA to go through the speaker did the trick. Problem is, I only want the ringer to sound there, not all the music I listen to.
Any ideas?
