forward SMS as e-mail? - General Topics

Hey everyone! I've got a question! Is it possible to find an application that forwards received SMS messages as e-mails (as a form of backup)?
I found an app called "SMS Organizer" but i'm not sure if it'll do that.
I don't care if it's automatic upon receiving the SMS (which I'd prefer) but it's not 100% necessary. I have an HTC Touch Dual with WM6. Open to ideas!
Kent.

anyone? I'm sure someone knows how to do this :-\

Someone over at MoDaCo wrote this app a couple of months ago...haven't tried it myself yet but I think it should be what you're looking for:

Change to WM6 SMS Messaging Application

I would like to find a way to disable/uninstall the Palm SMS/MMS messaging app and use the Windows Mobile messaging app instead.
I used a HTC Trinity running AX3L WM6 (before I dropped it and broke the screen ) and I would really like all the messaging (E-mail, Pushmail, MMS and SMS) on the Treo I use now to be all in the same place instead of 1 app for SMS/MMS and another app for E-mail.
Been looking all over Google, these forums and TreoCentral.com and found several posts asking this question, but the only replies were something like "Why would you even want that, the Palm app is so cool" ... well...
I do want it! So I hope someone can help me find a solution
Kind Regards,
J.

Group SMS or...?

Hi,
I have been looking for some kind of add-on, which allows me to pick more than one contact, at a time, when I wish to forward an SMS.
Been looking at Group SMS, but don't like the idea about creating the group in Outlook and then synchronize.
The function that I'm looking for is in Android, but not in WM 6.5, as I had hoped.
Thx. for any help.
Just try search function.

Thx. but I was'nt looking for GroupSMS.
What I'm looking for is the option to pick more than one reciver, without accessing the contactlist for each one.
Just like it's done on a normal mobilephone or Android phone
Again, search...

I'm using stock WM6.5 and it is possible to keep choosing contacts to sen a new message.
I can select as many as I want in the to area.
edit: U want to Forward the message, OK.
Funny things about forum's "Search" and "search again" and all you get is GroupSMS, which is what I would like to avoid.
Only, and simple thing, I'm looking for is til posiblety to put a checkmark, by the one's from my contactlist, who I would like to forward the SMS to.
The only thing, that looks like what I'm looking for is somthing called "Contact Picker package" but under the "Blackstone ROM development"

I dont think it will work on my Diamond 2
Group SMS
SKB Group SMS 5.2
This might help for sending to multiple recepients.
The con so far is, when message sending failed, you won't be notified.

Application to intercept certain callers/SMS senders?

I had a package a couple of years ago on my MDA (and perhaps on my Kaiser) that would do this - you could select a contact and then intercept calls and SMS and take an action without it hitting your notifications (e.g. reject the call, send an SMS back to the caller automatically and reject, answer an SMS or ditch it silently, etc)
I can't find it - and don't remember what it was called...... but I'm reasonably sure I found it here on XDA....
Does anyone remember/know what it was/is, and will it run on the Leo?
Thanks in advance.
That would be an awesome app. I have long dreamed of such a thing.
there is a program that worked on my tp2 that should work on hd2 as well called "magicall"
This one was free.... I'm quite certain it was here somewhere, but I can't find it.

Unfortiunately it's not free but IMHO PowerSMS is brilliant. It does everything you have asked and is worth every penny of the $9.95 they afre asking for it.

Yes... great and easy program... but it wont auto-reply sms messages with a sms message... (only missed voice calles).
scheduled sms
I found "Go SMS Pro". It i free and you are able to create scheduled sms (very useful for me).
But I don't think, that it (or any App) can reply a sms depending of the incoming sms's text. But the app has useeful Auto Reply functions too.
But it's a nice idea

Repli
There is an app here on xda in the Tilt or Tilt2 forums. It is called "repli". One of the reasons I stayed with WM.
I don't have the ability to upload the cab file, but you will want to read about it anyway.
Good luck.

How to send sms with custom "sent" date

Hello Forum.
I did a preliminary google search with no luck.
Is it possible to send an sms with a user set 'sent' date. So that I can send somebody an sms right now, but it shows up on their phone as having been sent a few days ago.
Sounds weird, I know, but I just want to know if its possible or if anyone has done it.
Probably not.
