Confused on how to start

Hello there,
I'm receiving a second hand Kaiser locked in Orange in a couple of days and I've spent loads of hours to learn how to CID, SIM unlock it and flash a ROM etc (yes, I'm a noob, this will be my first smartphone).
I stumbled upon a post saying that I should flash a WM6.0 ROM to be able to SIM-unlock so the question is:
Where can I find a decent WM6.0 ROM? I seem to be able to find only WM6.1 ROMs, and If should keep it or after I'm done unlocking the phone if I should flash a WM6.1 ROM.
Extra question: I know this is boring but is Dutty's latest ROM good for a beginner or not?
Consider this a friendly warning. First Post is a New Thread, not a good start. You are violating the "laws of the land." Search for your answer. Read the Wikis and Stickies! Post your question in relevant thread.
I have over 1000 posts and I've created 0 threads. Because I post my questions in relevant threads.

Right, my bad. Next time I'll be more careful on reading the laws!
Thanks for the reply anyway

Microsoft Notes

Does anyone have a cab for Microsoft Notes? The cooked ROM I'm using does not include the program.
have you looked in the windows dir if it's just the shortcut to programs that is missing
generaly cab files are install packets for optional programs and programs included in roms
are not available as cabs unless somebody made it manualy
What? Who would cook a ROM without the default apps?
lots of people i think
many people seem to think
removing rom based stuff
give more storage
but as far as i know unused rom space
is not used as storage space
they are 2 seperate things

Click to collapse
True.
I suggest that you [OP] use no2chem's extROM tool and find it. Or create a shortcut to ":MSNOTES"
Ive used no2chem extROM tool to unlock the extended ROM and soft reset but I can not find it using File Explorer or Total Commander. Where is it?

Not in the Windows directory.
Solved
Its was named notes and not MSNOTES in the Windows directory. There was also a lnk called notetake which was the shortcut to the file. I'm surprised the cook of my ROM did not include this one, it's been in all my previous ROMS.

[Completed] Cannot find a post new thread button

I cannot find a post new thread button in the forum I have subscribed too for Android Keyboard Helper. Where is it please?
Hello,
in which section can't you post?
New thread button
I want to start a new thread in the Android Keyboard Helper forum but cannot find a button for new thread or post. Can you advise please?
Please link the forum. There is no forum with the name
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1541916http
Is this not a link to the forum I refer to. If not, what is it? I am afraid I am desperately confused by some aspects of Android and this site in particular, and have spent much of the day going round in circles. All I want is to be able to ask for help with my new BT Keyboard on what looks to me like a forum dealing with the Android External Keyboard Helper. If it is not a forum, whatever it is I have been reading posts there but cannot post myself as I cannot find a New Posts button.
@Trafalgar Square
You should be able to post now.
Now able to post
Yes thank you, I can post now using the reply button. I have been looking in vain for the New Post Button. I now have a post on the Android External Keyboard forum.
