do you mean the scroll cab? because the dialer is built into the rom.. you can always use a cab to replace it

I use my thumb often, so the Touch scroll kinda messes me up alot.
I like the dial paid, it's great!
I got the tzone to work after reflashing. but like most WM6 roms, My HTTP mail still doesn't work.

So far vanilla 2.0 has minor outlaying issues that needs to be solved but other than that i have a blank wizard that will be running the rom so i will fix the issues an things should be okay!
for the active sync problem you must reinstall active sync on your desktop also you mus take off USB to PC advanced functionality in the settings... you should be well!
other than that after Version 2.0 i will be moving on to the sony ericson Xperia X1 further testing will be done for my quest and knowledge on the wizard i thank you all for your support on the quest of flashing!

problems with activesync
Hi, I downloaded your rom at the weekend and have it working well on my wizard. I have one issue with activesync. I'm using 4.5 with outlook 2003. Favourites sync ok, but any communication with outlook at I get "Synchronization could not be completed. If this condition persists, try deleting and then re-creating the devices's sync relationships. Support code: 80004005"
Using my previous mobile O/s it synced ok.

i am connected via wifi but cannot use windows live messenger it gives me an connection error unable to establish connection to the internet when i am confirmed connected via wifi?
hmmm for some reason i am having a problem flashing this rom to my tilt. Once it boots up from putting the rom on the phone gets stuck at the HTC screen, the furthest i can bring it from there is a screen thats all pixelated. any ideas what i could be doing wrong? the is the first time i have had problems installing any rom

Weirdly, my keyboard seems to be very unresponsive with this one. It keeps missing out characters when I type; button presses don't register.

Think it might have settled down a little now. Applied some performance tweaks using Advanced Config too.
Regardless, nice work Gullum. It's probably the best looking rom I've used so far, and it's got a nice set of features. It doesn't feel like the fastest I've used, but I'll give it a few days to gauge stability thanks to its looks!

One important thing I noticed - by default OK is closing everything, which is why the ROM felt slow.
Start - QuickMenu - Option - and untick "ok key to close program". I also turned of the X-Button tick.
Seems a lot snappier now - as it should be, it's not having to reopen apps all the time.
And it really does look stunning

Intro:
This is the third release of SNN. There have been a couple of fixes from the 2.0 version of this ROM. I've tested this ROM for about a week, it's stable for the most part. On a side note, I do not use bluetooth, so I can not say whether or not the bluetooth bugs have been fixed. I am satified with this release and may wait until a new build comes along before releasing another version of this series. I strongly recommend giving this ROM a try if you liked version 2.0 or even if you haven't tried it. Alot of touch applications have found there way onto this ROM. About running "slow".
For those that are having issues with my rom running slow, can you please describe by what you mean by "slow". I know that the inital boot of this rom is slow due to the fact that network wizard tries to configure your network settings and there is a pop up for S2U2. After the initial boot and once your network is configured, the rom shouldn't be running "slow". I've tested this rom for about a week on my device before releasing it and other than the initial boot/setup I haven't had any speed issues or it being "slow". So if you can give me an update on your device or if it is still slow please respond. thanks.

Most cooks, myself included, exclude the cube for the simple fact it takes up to much program memory. We only have so much available with the wizard and try to maximize it's function by leaving it off.

what's "TouchFlo Scrolling without Cube"? what it can be tested/tried on in this rom? or you have to have the cube to see it?
The general speed of the rom after setup is slow. the device hangs alot, launching programs tend to stall same from closing them.
pressing "x" doesnt close apps but just minimizes.
internet explorer stalls when loading pages and becomes un responsive.
These are the problems Ive come across so far but otherwise a lovely lookin rom....

have you tried a hard reset after installing the rom? at times there are some trash from the previous rom that we have used that makes our newly installed rom acts strange
after 5 long hoouuurrs of waiting I can finally install the rom... will tell if bleep's experience is the same as mine

This Rom is fantastic except, this is very important to some, In active Sync, there is no option to sync your PC with Bluetooth, only IRDA which does not work. you can send and recieve files via Bluetooth. Just cannot sync with Bluetooth. Why is notepad missing?

well i'm gonna save you the hastle, i didn't make any adjustments as far as changing .dll's to correct any problems from my previous release. I just cleaned up, more or less, icons and substituted some apps. I don't want you to go through the hastle of reconfiguring your phone for nothing.

Found one little glitch...
If you hit the x button in camera to exit - it takes you to the comm manager screen
tap the x again - and you are back to the home screen.
not a big issue, just posting my observations
Edit - phone froze trying to make this happen again, it got stuck opening the camera program, and just sat there, with the waiting icon spinning, and spinning......
Soft reset, and all appears good - the camera program now closes with the x - and you go straight to home screen.

Ie, it's not WinRAR, WinZip or anything. And the internet can't find an appropriate programme to use?? Any ideas?

this rom lags sometimes including it doesnt have Adv Config or any registry editor

Nice will test it out. I tested the no htc home rom. I only get 14 mb of ram stock. I removed items from start up and add cleanstart and get 19mb but that is still really low for a clean rom. Not sure why that is. Everything else works good.

Flashing now.
OK: I flashed and started. very fast and stable. It looks a lot like HyperDragonIII Kaiser rom. I really love that one.
There is one bug that makes it unusable for me.
I installed MSVC and when I try to make a call, the tone that anounces that VC is listening (the beep) gets stuck, I am not sure how else to describe it. then bluetooth crashes and you can hear the tone on the phoen speaker. the only way to fix it is to do a soft reset.
if you can help me with this I would appreciate it.

Can this be used on the T-Mobile Wing as well? Does pretty much everything that can be used on the Herald work with the Wing?

yes, it can be used on the wing.
you may have to install duprade's keyboard fix.

+T-Wing:keyboard fix...use this
Tested it. Generally I like it. Theme and skins look nice. Decent speed and stable. However, memory is a bit low. I got about 17mb left in fresh starts. will test more and maybe post a better review later. Can't really tell anything within 30 min. using the ROM. Anyway keep up the good work. It has been quiet for Herald forum lately (except papa's new rc6)
I'm curious abut RAM/ROM can anybody post some info on that?
and is touchflo scrolling enabled?

You can tap Start>>settings>>connections>>turn on Beam.

The version with the HTC home screen sends you a confirmation message everytime you send a message. When you click settings and uncheck the "Request message delivery notification" checkbox the settings never save.

esperOS is meant to be a tight, no-frills lite ROM suitable for those using SPB Mobile Shell, or those who just want us much RAM as possible to install your own cabs.
It is also brand-free, there is no 'esperOS' in the startup screens. I want it to look like a stock HTC ROM.
Please refrain from asking for additions, unless you can make a case that it is essential for phone operation

Unable to open archieve.
tried all the decompresser and got an error msg. stating the archieve is not valid. Can you upload it again? Mirror would be excellent.

Update: removed HTC volume control.
I removed the HTC volume control because I didn't like it, so it now uses the stock control.

I noticed only one bug so far with 23088/23089, and it's pretty minor...
When you install a cab, you can't use the Dpad to select if you want to install to Device or Storage Card -- this screen works with touch only.

10 hours after install 23089 the batery life lost only 10 points (great).
QuickGPS works fine.
Camera key works fast and without errors.
Press and hold the send key a error occur.
a question: How can I get a 4 row honeycomb?
Tip: set Pressure threshold and Finger threshold of TouchFlo to Normal.

Don't make any change with AdvanceConfig.
