The rapidshare address I found in OEM Package Tutorial is not available.
1st of all ... WHAT THE HECK IS "Ervius Package Creator" ???
2ndly ... you don't just create a new thread out of the blue just because you desperately need something and forget about etiquette !!!
I don't do mind reading !!! ... and if you asked a pointless/stupid question without any info whatsoever !!! ... you are getting one same pointless/stupid answer back !!!
To be completely honest, I don't mind this question. I think maybe you should search for the creator by name, Envirus, but the pakage creator is also a part of the kitchen. So either get th ewhole kitchen, go to Hermes forum, the thread there has valid links or I believe it is also in the main xda development & upgrading thread.

Where are you from? Please be polite.
1. If you know kaiser cooking kitchen and read OEM package tutorial, you should know what's "Ervius Package Creator"
2. What's pointless question? I just ask a software download address. I searched in the forum. Do you think I'm stupid like you? Do you know everything when you come to the world? YOU are really stupid.
I have been looking for this also, the thread his tools normally live in is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320504
However the tools are not there at the moment, if you read on the last page he says he is having some file hosting problems. I was looking mainly for his updated version of buildos.
Best thing to do i think is just subscribe to that topic and wait for an email, that is what i am doing.
Alternatively if you go to ALexs Cooking Kits on the Kaiser Wiki and download alexs kitchen tools package creator is contained in the kitchen tools zip file,.

I believe that WM6VoIP.CAB is for pocket pc.
well, i instaled it on my SPV E650, the plugin appears on the home screen but it says something like "Appels Internet: Service bloqué"... i think that Orange France does not allowed us to get acces or something like that.
Who knows how to make it work ?

Has anyone found a way to make voip work with this S710 device? Does it work with the .cab in this thread? I am desperately in need for such a solution.
I've now added a page showing you how to dump the ROM and extract files from it. It uses pdocread and viewimgfs.
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Vox_HowToDumpRom
how to reflash tutorial would be useful
now that i have the dump, a reflash tutorial would be great
I also dumped my ROM according to the wiki, but I'm afraid there are files missing. For example "coredll.dll" (539040 bytes) which is read-only, hidden, system and in ROM does not appear in my dump. I found unicode references in Part00 or Part01, but the viewimgfs tool can not extract from these parts.
Anyhow, ftg888 is right, a flash tut would be highly appreciated
I've just updated the page with info on the Okta Boss (www.oktamobile.com) which was just released in New Zealand by Telecom NZ yesterday.
It seems to be a hybrid between the HTC S710 and S730, but is CDMA based.
I just recieved one today, so I'll be posting updates as I play with it...
Later'ish

Hi everyone
I wanted to share some good information and experiences I had with my phone as above
1. Backlight failure: Phone kept going black/no screen image. These people did a great job fixing it for me:
http://www.turnonyourmobile.com
Tel: 020-8543-7417
They are in Wimbledon and fixed the phone in 24 hrs. Price was just under £64all in (vat, carriage etc). This saved having to send phone back to Korea. I purchased it from an e bay shop, but no warranty passed along.
2. Software: ROM flash upgrade: this one worked really well for me.
See this link: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Vox & this one for the ROM
(but please follow all instruction to the letter!)
This was the very best link: Dr. Martin Gonzo's WM6.1 ROM
Download from
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=376564
3. If you have problems with flashing, download this MS tool: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...8C-D587-47E0-908B-09FEE6EA517A&displaylang=en
4. Follow instructions carefully, different security settings may assist, but remember to reinstate the settings later
5. I am now a very happy owner of this phone and it does more than the original one I received
Enjoy your Phone
Wiki is being updated. I have added SPL flashing instructions. I will create a glossary as well.
OK, I made some changes. I created a separate page for USPL and linked it on the flashing page and on the main page!
EDIT: I also added some stuff to the glossary!
in china it's named C730..
I moved the ROM list to a separate page and put a link to it near the top.
I added some overclock info regarding the Rose V0.4 rom. It should work for other roms but at the moment its a manual setting - I cant get TornadoPowerControl to work.

UPDATE: I am posting a revised version of this kitchen because I noticed the version I uploaded had some nonworking buttons and I noticed lots of silly mistakes when I went back to the source code. I also have added a lot of exception handling. I also realized that by batch file doing the dumping had some errors.
Autosculpt 1.00 BETA REVISED
This is another ROM kitchen based off of bepe's PKGTool and BuildOS, uses Tadzio's improved IMGFS tools, and incorporates some simple Visual Basic code.
What you can do with this release:
Create a dump and make packages using PKGTool
Add/Remove packages
Create splashscreen, HTC Logo, and startup screen
Add splashscreen, HTC logo, and startup screen
Set all components of rom to one location for easy access to build (for lazy people like me who don't want to go searching)
(When this thing is finally released, G3 and G4 flashing support will be enabled)
Since the kitchen is still in its beta, I have disabled to option to flash the ROM to the device.
WARNING: I am not responsible for a bricked device if you choose to go ahead and flash the ROM to the device by starting up the RUU manually!
Last but not least, credit goes to bepe, maimach, tadzio, the-equinoxe for their tools that were used in this kitchen. Also, I thank Faria, mUn, mfrazzz, anichillus, Molski, and countless others who have directly/indirectly helped me understand about ROM cooking.
LINK for kitchen: http://www.sendspace.com/file/pm7az1
The update files are attached along with a readme to tell you where to put them

Maybe I'm missing something, but I never saw anyplace to download this in your first post. Just a description. I figured you were uploading and then forgot about this until you just replied...
oh sorry, I was hoping you would post a request in this thread. i just wanted to know who was going to try it. NEW LINK: http://www.sendspace.com/file/pm7az1
as of now, i know that only nothin and badbert have it. if anyone is trying it, please post in this thread.
Wondering if anyone was successful in building a ROM file using this kitchen if you've had the time.
Feedback of any type is appreciated!
Anyone?
Anyone have any type of feedback? I'm kinda banking on that before I make a final release. I understand though if you don't have the time to test this.

No luck with the upload link
I too got a very small file that was not in any particular format.

Kitchen Updated!
Updated program and dump batch file located in first post. Most exceptions are now handled and buttons work properly. All batch files are now running in hidden mode.
Feedback please!
Any feedback? I'm not releasing this 'till I'm sure that it works for other people too.
Please, if you have time, give me some feedback on this program. I've also stopped my GUI aWizard project because I want to finish this one first.
Hi all,
please anyone can post a short reference for a rom newbie to:
- retrieve content (.cab) from existing rom
- how to cook a new rom (or simply modify an existing one).
I've read some threads but it's difficult for me to find a simple method (a lot of tools and a lot of steps).
If anyone with more experience can simply post some link to specific threads would be great.
Thanks in advance.
You can't really retrieve cabs from Roms ... but you can extract the files necessary for any given application.
If you want to cook your own rom, do a search on here for a tutorial made by ITJE that tells you what to do step by step.

Its not simple. I think after you learn and try you will have much respect for the cooks that are on here.
Hi,
I have started to go thru the Kaiser ROM Kitchen Tutorial and have one problem and a question to ask...
Step 1 states:
Uncompress kaiserkitchen_01-20-08.rar to \kaiserkitchen.
It is highly recommended you extract this and all additional applications to folders on your C: drive, e.g., c:\kaiserkitchen. It is not necessary for this tutorial, however it will be necessary to use Ervius Package Creator in the OEM Package Tutorial.
You'll notice that there is a file called !!!readmefirst!!!.txt within the uncompressed files. This file contains additional information on how to cook and I suggest reading it after you complete this tutorial as it contains valuable information about cooking, but some steps will conflict with the steps found here.
You should have \kaiserkitchen and two subfolders, ?BaseROM and Tools
I have done this but after uncompressing said file I only have a Tools folder, where be the BaseRom folder?
As a side order.....
I note the tut uses a reference to using radios in the .nb format. How can I use those that are in the .nbh format?
In fact, I get problems when I uncompress the files Alex[1].v5.WM61.HTC.3.03.ROM.Folders.part1.rar, part2 and part3?
Part 1 goes OK but part2 and part3 just comaplin all the way that the files exist do I wnat to overwrite etc?
The tut says I should then I five folders in kaiserkitchen, I have many more than that?
Now either I am doing something wrong (probably) or the guide is out of date?
Thanks

Please post this question in the thread about the Kaiser Kitchen. Creating a new thread with your questions from an existing thread is against forum policies and will get you a lot of negative attention, and very few answers. I think you will find the people around here a lot more helpful to you if you post your questions in the appropriate section.

ScatDawg is correct. Since you found the Rom Kitchen you know about it's thread. Your question belongs there. It does not warrant a new thread.
If you want forum members to respect you then you must respect the forum.
Hi All,
first of all, so sorry if that i am asking for has already been discussed in any other thread.
I had read a lot of posts last two weeks with the purpose of understanding how to cook my own rom. Then, I've tried some distinct kitchens as well and had some success dumping existing cooked rom and modifing them by removing or adding packages to my convenience, just for test and practice.
Now, there something I don't understand how to do it: Can I build a rom based on XIP and SYS? I mean, my idea is to build a basic rom w/o any kind of modification or addicional packages. Then I could be able to dumped it, add all packages I'd like... it's to say "to cook".
So is it possible to create a rom only from SYS and XIP files? I've found this fantastic collection but don't know how to exploid it.
Here there are fantasics cookers, I'm really impressed by the job they do cooking roms. I hope you could give me some help to become a good cooker.
Thanks IA
What you will need to do is strip the OEM folder of all the programs you don’t want, including registry settings.
You will need to keep the OEMDrivers folder intact, or the Phone simply won’t function.
However tedious this task may be, in the end you get what you want.
Here is what I do (or try to do)
I've got SYS folder and Xip.bin, in this case the OS 5.2.20755 ones.
First, I extract Xip.bin with the Xipport Tool (dump Xip.bin, make packages and copying manually files and modules to a ROM/XIP folder
Then I paste both SYS and ROM/XIP folders at their place in the HyperCore kitchen (the best kitchen i've tried at the moment)
Finally I launch build os function, and here is the error!!!! Can't find the file c\....\hypercore\build\temp\BaseApps\imageinfo.bin
What am I doing wrong?
Yeah, probably I don't really understand what I am doing, and maybe I am skipping steps.
Someone could help me understanding the complete process? Please!!!
Please, someone.
Even I have the same problem.
