i already tried blackdiamond, but that didn't work (i got the Wrong Update Utility ****...)
I need just a simpel ROM (like the Blackdiamond thing) that is easy installing

The rom was built for the wizard so that the wizard coud handle it. It's not the fastest out there with touchflo but it looks the nicest and is still reasonably fast.
I personally use TNT.1437 Touchflo with a modified OS so that is has a 10MB pagepool and it is very fast.(special Thanks to its right for his original rom)

Where have you heard of a patched htc_home.dll and what should the dlll do?
If you want to run iGo8 disable HTC Home from Today and softreset after this start iGO minimize iGO with pressing red (telephone)button and enable HTC Home in Today go through all panels of Home and then maximize iGo it still works until you softreset it!

i need the patch for customise my weather cities .the patch on the site below worked with your old rom based on nothrills but not with the new shipped one....
the problem: htc home is linked to htc.accuweather.com. this site is locked for many cityies. the plugin change the link (in the binary-file htchome.dll) to accuweather.com and you can add all cities from the website...

htc home tabs! without music tb
Using a Registry editor Go to: HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCHome\TabSetting (If you don't have the string TabSetting, Create a new String and name it to "TabSetting" and give it the values you want.)
There you will see the value: 1,2,3,4,6 (Each of these is a tab. Note there are no spaces between the numbers and commas)
1 = Home (Time + Date)
2 = Contact shortcuts.
3 = Weather
4 = Program shortcuts.
5 = Music schortcut. (Originaly it's hidden with this tweak you can active it.)
6 = Profile Manager.
The only thing you have to do is changing the values in TabSetting.
You can add or delete the tabs when you have no use of it.
So having a TabSetting of 1,2,3,4 will show Home, Favourite People, Weather and Launcher.
Having a TabSetting of 1,3,4,5 will show Home, Weather, Launcher and Music Player
I CAN NOT GET MUSIC TAB RUNNING!!!! coud some one try pls!

i thought the issue with the german umlaute on the hardware keyboard is soved now with the htc-ship based rom. i tested it just now and on my device it don't work
2. no change to activate the media tab on htc home.
although this is the best german rom at the time..

Umlaute in hardware keyboard is definitly working!
First type the normal letter exampel "a" then press Fn button and then space the normal letter will change to the Umlaut "ä".
I think somewhere in this forum was a solution for this, try a search.
If i find it i will post.

for all that miss the media tab in htc-home. here is the english version of htc audio manager today plugin. it is a nice alternative for the media tab and teijak even had it in his old rom based on nothrills...

sorry, my version of music player is
not multilingual and therefore it is no mui file that i can replace. do you you have a better (german) cab of htc music player today?

i am testing this rom for two days,
there is bug in the touchscreen, its VERY SLOW,
i mean it is not reacting well, f.e. if want to call some one
i press the tab 1 but nothing happens, i have to press 3-5 times
has anyone a fix for it!

it should work on elfin this is a os only rom no radio, spl ipl or splash

It won't run on elfin (on mine at least).
I tried with several RUU, including (at first attempt) with the one provided in the archive.
I think it has to deal with the version number which is set to 1.00.... Seyia, on win-mobile forum (french) had the same issue with flash for elfin, while his rom was flashing with no problem on elf.
If you could renew your rom with an other version number, it should do the trick
BTW, i'd really like to test this rom

You can run the Page Pool changer or device_info.bat applications to view or change the PP size (see my sig).

did you use the elfin friendly version?
hey, i just flashed my elf with this rom and everything works great. one problem i noticed was that when i press the volume button and click the volume icon it opens the battery settings and the signal icon opens the volume.. other than that its great!

that's the point I didn't use elfin friendly version but it work well,should it be a abnormal thing?
the only problem I encounter by now is when I slide tab to message, it can just display english character but other words like chinese are missing, any idea about it?

This is an amazing ROM! I have been taking a break from flashing new ROMs and glad I tried this. I haven't even loaded any other apps and may not. Great job!
So far I have not found anything I don't like - and that never happens! I prefer the PCM keyboard with my skin, but the one on this ROM is certainly acceptable and I will likely get used to it. The dialer is amazing. I have not seen that slide up and down to hide the commands before.
If there is anyone on the fence about trying this ROM - DO IT - DO IT NOW. I had no problems flashing using the ELFIN files on post one.

Yeah i know. I meant whats the mem status after the flash and after enabling TF2D.
why cant manila rom installs in my asus p527?? some htc installed apps also doesnt run.. i cant even install manila 2d plugin as the device doesnt hav sufficient memory........... is ther ne way to install nd run ne of these??

till now, there is no wm6.5 m2d... but there is wm6.1 m2d in the above link. use translate.google.com to translate the website from thai to english.

Hi,
Thankx for the Roms they are working just great however there are som bugs in it. This is just to bring them to your kind notice so that u can fix them in your next version.
1. In WM6.5 with Touchflo 2d and Without Touchflo 2d, the some of the Icons are all Distorted, looks like blasted images. if you could make the icons nice and sharp just like other WM6.5 icons it would look great.
2. In the same build When you click on Power settings it will open mode switcher settings and when you click on Mode Switcher settings it will open power settings.
3. when the Touchflo is on the number Pad doesnt work to directly type and dial the number, instead we have to press the answer button and then type the number and dial.
I am really thankful to you for these great Roms.
Could you please tell me if Asus is going to give the WM6.5 update to P527 users?

Problem with schist_21189
i have flashed my schist rom 23034 with schist_21189 but the my phone is not working properly.the problems are as follows
1.phone starts very late.
2.if i keep it on the stand by mode and want to close the screen it wont do it.
3.with in 3 to 4 minutes of stand by mode the screen starts to wash out and turns white with nothing happening on it.no key will work in this stage.
4.the usb while starting gives the charging lite but when it starts the usb is not recognizable not by active sync.it wont work at any cost

I have managed to run MANILA with all available tabs together.
I have used ManilaTV cab from user netdrg , MTPTodayV501 cab from user mkucuksari and MTPTodayPage from its coder user blezalex,callhistory cab from user utopykzebulon,also docs and ereader files from user HD2owner... Lots of thanks to them for these files !!!
I have combined them into one cab with all default tabs configuration...
With this mod, you will be able to see TODAYPAGE Tab, CALLHISTORY Tab, MANILATV Tab, DOCUMENTS Tab and EREADER Tab with other available default tabs...
It should work with all manila versions but you have to USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK. ( may not work manilas without footprints [email protected] and also MANILA - 2.5.19211619.0 )

The cab is working flawlessly here. I have just hardreset my phone and reinstalled it and faced no problems. MTP loaded automatically during boot process.I guess that you have MTP installed before or broken registry ?

Nah this is the first time i use MTP, and theres quite some things that could be causing it, like wm 6.5.5 or artemis 3.7, forget i mentioned it since i hardlly ever reset my device anyway, and like i sayd with the load option from start menu it works fine

It can be add by editing manilatv.xml file under /application data/manila tv player/ . But if you have problems just send me the file xml file you have and i can add it to the cab. Thanks...

didnt work for me. i installed the cab to the device then reset but on start up sense couldnt start. im using a light 1.66 rom manila2.31921 with cookies quick link app.

Dear stephan2529,
It was tested with manila 20113626 . The mod may have different behaviours between custom roms and
manila versions.
