This new HTC Home screen was just posted on Gizmodo. I haven't seen it here yet, anyone know about it or if it's on the forum? I think it's pretty slick.

Hm, VGA? Are there any new VGA devices by HTC coming?
Looked at the screenshots. Nothing significantly new.

Very nice, so it is almost identical to the iphone in size. The problem is, they are going to have to have made a major advancement on their current keyboard to make it better than the iphones.
Actually, having said that, all they need to do is let you send text messages in landscape
This is one sexy looking piece. I am not a big touch screen guy but I wouldn't mind checking one of these baby's out.

Already a very complete thread about HD:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=425031
some more info..
It's a dutch site, sorry for that... but there is a lot of information and nice pictures...
Deep in HTC HQ...
In the R&D center..
Do you think there might be an android powered Touch Diamond1,2/Pro1,2/HD? Purely for research purposes?
I mean, both the G1 and the G2 are disappointing... compared to the WinMo phones..
Also, do you think HTC is likely to develop an interface for Android as well?
i dont kno but i reckon it like the batcaves but with hookers and gambling
I'm sure there is, I've seen the BB 4.7OS on the Touch Pro.

BB OS on the Touch Pro!
Do you think this may be possible? It had so much potential but with the sluggish performance, can't make phone calls, and a very odd keyboard...
Will HTC make a better one or drop the entire venture entirely?
As far as I know Shift has been discontinued (Hope I´m worng)
And HTC 09 roadmap not shows any Shift replacement, the closer is Athena 2
(Toth)
p.d. This has to be posted on Q&A thread
Is this what you want?

The Thoth -- Athena's replacement -- is also present with a 4.8-inch display, a 5 megapixel shooter, the Qualcomm 8250 CPU at 1GHz, and will also run Microsoft's newest Windows Mobile 6.5 when it lands in September

I thought that render had been shown to be fake, but perhaps this is different.
Either way looks pretty realistic, spec wize too. Definitely won't have WM7 cuz of the processor. Plus, the name Windows Mobile 6.6 isn't official, right now it's just being called 6.5.3.

No this image is real, the other render, the one done by ElCondor is a Photoshop render, I wouldn't say it's fake because it looks close to the real thing, I guess we're gonna have to wait and see, I'm looking forward for this phone!
It's coming soon

It looks like one of the budget Android phones coming out. Similar to the LG Optimus my GF just got. (decent phone btw)
Thanks, but it's HTC. maybe it's a prototype?
I suppose it's HTC touch2.
If you look at the buttons, it is a Windows phone.
As there are five buttons, I do not think it is Win7.
