I just bought a Qtek 2020 and it has ROM 1.66 WWE. I need to upgrade the rom to 1.72 WWE. I don't speack Deutch and I was looking at www.qtek.nu and followed the links. They only have the guide for the installation but not the update file itself. Can anyone help me regarding htis issue please.

Hi there
i had the same thing with my QTEK 9090...........you need to open the guide and then you will see a hyperlink to download the firmware
just looked at the qtek 2020 guide doc and it is exactly the same

they are all wm5 rom. you can see this by looking at the release date (august 2006 etc.)

Since two weeks, i'm looking for Vodafone ROM FR for touch pro, but i still never found it.
That's why i'm still waiting for flashing my Touch Pro, if there any problem and phone must be send to Shop, i can't reflash it with Vodafone ROM.
So, maybe someone have already Dump it ?

I tested the dumped Vodafone FR ROM on my own phone and it worked fine.
It's the original OS ROM from an SFR (Vodafone France) HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) purchased in France in October, 2008.
ROM 1.90.163.5 FRE (Aug 1 2008)
Build 19965.1.2.3

Thank you very much. I bought one from Orange France Telecom. which has the same Build No. but Rom No. is 1.90.73.4
I have problem with TOMTOM, error: "Not enough memory available." Do you tried TOMTOM with your SFR Touch Pro? If yes, do you have any problem?

Sorry, I don't use TomTom with this phone. I don't actually use the SFR ROM, either. At the moment I'm using monx's exellent ROMeOS 1.22 ROM with his AZERTY CAB, along with the 1.02.25.28 radio. They both work very well.
Just a question... this the really Original SFR ROM ?
I mean there's no application, theme or others changes compared to the original when you buy you're phone ?

I don't think so. You can change the keyboard layout in the registry after flashing.

can anyone tell me, which rom is currently best for my Kaiser? Now I'm using Duttys ROM from 29 apr 08 build 19700 with WM6.1, Radio version 1.64.08.21. Thanks for reply.

Have just updated my MDA Vario 3 / MDA Vario III with this ROM (WM 6.1) from T-Mobile Support site and so far I have found the phone response has dropped, the "Letter Recognizer" is as jumpy as hell. Would still like to use a T-Mobile WM 6.1 ROM. Does anyone else have this problem?

Try another Hard reset and see if that makes a difference. Ive had it before where a ROM seems really bad and another hard reset has cured it. always backup first though. It is worth a shot if you like the ROM features.
Cheers. Maybe I could also go nuts and try a different ROM, perhaps Duttys... Cannot seem to find the most popular one though.

only issue i found with it was opera doesnt work. it keeps restarting.
