I downloaded this program and like it didn't want to flash at all. I put it on my phone and doubleclick on it and it just gave me an error. So my friend's brother installed it for me cause he's like a super genius and he said you didn't know how to setup the installer.
Anyhow, How much memory does it have?
And there's a bug, you have to hit the wifi button twice for it to work. That means that this is a crappy rom and you are a *insert swear words here*.

MediaFire's uploads and downloads will be sporadically offline for database maintenance.

I Promise to abuse the MMS for you papa and let you know my findings ... You are still cruel bringing out this room while im flashing the previous rom.
OK the time is 3:21am here in nyc the boogie down bronx. I am now flashing your rom ... You are still cruel .... I will go thru the same tests but since its the beta ill keep it for at least a few days as long as MMS works.... Went thru a whole day with no MMS thats horrible and cruel .. Presently at 32% .. Will get back with further updates after rom is flashed and wing is back up and running ... Many thanks pap your last rom looked real sweet wish I could have played with it a while longer but I cant resist a new flash......
I love the clean screen . As my background is always a picture of me I can see myself clearly.
Ok ... 1st bug I have seen was when going thru changes on the today screen the picture album opened and I couldn't get out of it no matter what I pressed. After about 1 minute the phone rebooted. Ok I see no MMS at all let me find someone to send 1 to me . Also on the cube after the reboot some icon asre missing on one of the panels. I believe the memory and storage icons.
Now I just did another reset after running Connection setup to see if I can get MMS. The icons now came back on the cube with that reset as well. There is that bug i see him ... lol ... Once you goto today's settings and goto item and change anything well rather i been choosing battery and metrix the cube icons get messed up. OK I see MMS now let me try sending a message again .. Must do the reg-edit to see sim contacts. I know most dont like to see their sim contact but I prefer to see them in my contacts.
Bluetooth works quiet fine with both motorola H375 and motorola HS850 even tho I dont see my bluetooth icon now when im using the phone. MMS still isnt working at all .. Thats a big bug. Let me add ArcSoftMMS v4.2.8.1 cab and see if it will work MMS.
WOW reconnected phone to computer and it locked up .. Activesync could not connect. Slide control works i can turn off sounds as I wish. When sliding the screen changes in parts. it cuts a picture into parts then takes a few moments to set it clear.
All my MMS messages were deleted from all folders on this reset. Not sure why as I change the settings to manual removal. And after a few differnt MMS cabs still no MMS ..... I think I will flash back to your older rom as i need MMS. I will gladly test any fix you have as I don't mind flashing ....
The Audio Manager works flawlessly let me test windows media player even tho i rarely use that application. Ok it works as well for music but doesn't play any video. TCPMP player works but if you want to see a video you must first start the video then close the program. After if you restart the program you can see the video. You must do this every time you want to see a different video.
HTC Album works but I can only view pictures that are in my picture folder. Not sure if thats how it works but if not then thats not good. The batteryStatus can be started through the programs folder with out changing the icons on the cube.
Oxios Hibernate works flawlessly as usual. Sim manager works quiet fine even tho I feel its a useless utility to me. Total Commander works as I use it for reg-edits. Romsettings is ok. Enlarge StartMenu works as well with no issue even tho I turn it off not sure if I mentioned that about this rom .. LOL .. Now I know I am tired ut sill I have to flash so seeing how much more I can test before the flashing continues.
All the office components work very well. Due to the fact I don't have a data plan I cant properly test the Internet sharing for you. Sorry about that my dear friend.
Now maybe I missed it but how do you change the icons and settings on the cube . Since I never actually used it before I am not 100% sure.
I hope this little test of mines helps in the development of this rom and hopefully all the bugs can be sorted .... If I could cook already I would try to fix them as best as possible.

Preliminary Review:

It is a PPCtuning.org ROM. It seems it is pretty fast with total commander, OMAP clock, Screen Off, keyboard fix, Simple plain fast ROM.
BTW: it is in the same place as the PDAviet4
look for that thread and you shall find it.

Yesssss! it was the overclocking... i set my speed back to 195 and camera works perfect!
Radio is included (2.47) and now I have to upgrade to 2.61 again.
First impressions - rom very good.
Missing some apps to be perfect (battery status, wm5 new menudryar-bluetooth, oxios memory).
It's based on orwell rom so there's no start menu sound fix included, voice command fix too.
This morning installed this underground edition..
after latest Molski, faria 3.3 V1, V2 and PDAVIETV4; this is the best one yet for me...
This one is smoother, faster and has evertything in it i want (mindlet also incluided; you have to install it afterwards from the install folder)
so if it stays this stable this is a winner.... and it looks like it.

I've tried most ROMs on my wizzard, just hope this one is smooth enough for daily use. Faria's last release spoiled me....

This ROM is VERY good. I had been using Faria's latest on my phones but this is slightly better. Voice Command is in rom but needed the BT fix from another thread to amke the headset work right. A few tiny tweaks but 99% of my software is in and working great! It is fast and there is tons of memory.
The only thing I have not been able to overcome is lack of midi support. All my old .mid ringtones will not work at all. WM player will not play them anymore. From reading on the web I guess it's actually been up to device oems to include midi support even with WM5 but this rom does not have it. Perhaps a later one will. For now it's not big deal and I am moving on with this rom. Good Stuff!

had to go with 3.00.. 3.3 was messing up the ROM and it wouldnt flash correctly for some reason. it works perfectly though - i have been testing it for a couple days. im just waiting for rapidshare to finish cause im uploading both as i type.. they should be up in probably a half hour.

EDIT: re-testing the ROM before I flash - RUU exited at 99% bc of the nk file.. had to rebuild... testing the BlackBerry version while I build the other one...
EDIT again: figured out the problem.. it was the battery fix.. so i had to take it out.. im rebuilding the ROMs and im gonna test them and upload them soon

SD Battery Drain Fix
Thank you so much for the battery drain fix Ranger666. I dunno if it fixed the battery drain issue, but I did notice something interesting. Earlier, I had installed the HTC Touch dialpad skin (v2) and I lost my data icon. It had been replaced by two arrows going in opposite directions. Upon installing this fix, I got my data icon back! Granted, it wasn't the same data icon, but heck, it's still a data icon. Long story short, I'm happy.
Scratch all that... It's back to the two arrows with an 'x'. Anyone know how to get back the data icon?
the sd card fix enables the power management even for the sd card, but in my case it led to dropouts while listening to mp3 saved on my sd card.
you can occasionally decide whether you wanna activate it or not
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SDMemory_Class] --> soft reset necessary!

hm.. happened to me a while ago w/ wm5.. after a couple flashes it went back to the way it was.. try this ROM once its out.. should be midday hopefully.. sorry for the delay but i wanted to make sure you didnt brick your wizards! and it should solve the problem as long as you don't install the HTC dialpad.. lol.. good luck

Lol, I'll give v2 a crack as soon as it's out. I was wondering though, what's new in this one vs the old one? I was readng the info you posted and compared it to v1; it looks the same. its just a newer build of WM6, and it has a new COMM manager. i had a few setbacks, and hopefully im gonna release it by tonight (PDT). i think (from my experiences, the newer build is better on battery. and it is only in english

whats the OS version? i have 10.2.0.8 WWE. is it newer than that? also are the DTMF tones fixed? with the version i flashed i cant use the numbers while in a call. they simply just do not work. it would be nice if they did.

you need to install ArcsoftMMS as a cab because I don't use MMS and I had a pool in the development and hacking forum and it looks like most people never use MMS.

After some days of use is time to report feedback :
- For some reason changin from landscape and backwards is done a lot slower than on the previous ROM I was using (Itje's Touch-It).
- Some problems when trying to toggle wifi from the comm manager. The curious part is that Throttle toggles do work perfectly...
- There are some app's I miss but I can install them form Cabs . (BS to OC the device for example).
- I miss your Diamond keyboard (okay.... it's a herald but.... ).
So... the only little thing anoying of the ROM is the first point. Other than that it's working surprinsingly good for a first (the previous one didn't count as you do it without testing device) beta. Congrats!!!

I downloaded the original WM6 for Herald and dumped it .. I now have the drivers from that one and it is switching much faster between port and land mode

I have been bussy this weekend released the kaiser version of the rom then a funeral and a wedding.
I also found that the hardware keyboard is driver depending so I had to download all the languages version I could find for Herald and dump all thoese rom to get the drivers.... but I will work on the roms during this week so by weekend I guess to have all 12 languages ready and maybe I can get Czech too.

so THATS why it takes so long.... I always thought the keyboard was kinda "plugnplay", but i guess not (it should be), and the fact that you are doing all 12 languages....... dang. Nice, man.

on another note i read this: The owner of the roms does not want to post his roms on www.xda-developers.com. He feels that he is not receive good appreciation here.So no more roms will be uploaded.

I did not meant that you wont get these roms, you can download the roms from the link i gave.I will talk to microlab regarding this and he might again agree on posting his roms here on xda-developers,till then we can make a thread just for bugs and solutions.

Please do ask Microlab if there is a fix for the Sounds and Notifications screen. It is severely garbled, and if I knew where to find the xml for it, would have given it a shot. Appreciate your help very much.

No Problem. I know you can keep changing that value. "6" vibrates, and shows the icon but doesnt ring, so on and so forth. I don't know what they all do or what the max value could be, I'm guessing somewhere between 10 and 15. you probably noticed already but thats also where you can changed what .WAV file is played for a new SMS.
I don't speak a lick of Vietnamese and I managed to register on that forum, verify registration, get myself logged in, and find the latest PDAVIET Herald release.
It's just plain ol' forum navigation. It's not that difficult. *shrug*

That actually works out better for me anyway. I prefer to use Schap's Advanced Task Manager.

I also managed to make a log in and password there and can download roms but i feel like so much gets jumbled/lost in translation!! I saw some of your posts there lol. . .
I have the blue theme one that i believe is his (microlab) most current release and call me retarted but i cannot for the life of me get mms to work(on any of his roms). I downloaded the network wizard cab you posted and followed the steps and reset and still nothing. . .i can get internet to work fine which to me says that network config worked but no mms. Also on this rom threaded sms is messed up lol but if you go to advanced config and disable it the rom is otherwise sound!

Yeah I ran into that problem with the threaded SMS as well. I don't want to disable it so now I'm working on building some cab files so that I can stick his blue theme into a different build that has a working threaded SMS.
Translate the page
To translate the pdaviet page just click the button at the bottom of the page and select English(It should say Ting Vit)

On his latest release it is messed up. Otherwise it was fine two releases before. And did you setup the connection after installing the cab?

Network wizard, then Aserg arcsoft, then t-mobile mms. Reset after each. Some times even if you do it it does not seem to work right away so just re-install them all again. This last build I had to do it 3 times on my friends phone before the MMS worked. Also make sure you change all the settings in the network wizard. Oh and I think it has a problem when install on the device or sd card, I think that was what finally got it to work this last time. Sorry I was a bit drunk.

Yeah, I was going to build a cab file containing all of the blue themed stuff (including phone canvas, random access, volume control, m2d, etcetera). If you know of one that has already been built, that would be even better.

i found this 'arcsoftmms_en4.2' . . . is that the aserg arcsoft you were referring to?
The blue one has been fixed. Threaded SMS works flawlessly. I'm totally digging it. I haven't tested MMS, but I haven't had any problems with MMS on any of his other releases.

love these ROM but too much networking issue for my wing
i have tried the latest 3 rom and have issue with "wifi, mms and bluetooth" that why i did post on it. and after reading forum for 1 month i left them alone.

I am still trying to figure out how to edit the default home screen with different things. Cause IE is lamzor is the favorites...but you can't edit the favorites....I guess I will have to turn into a forum troll.

Well you can flash this one to your ROM, you just have to do the Herald Keyboard Fix found on the forums somewhere here. That's the only difference between the phones.

Good lookin out on that info man. Now I know (and knowing is half the battle). I'll have a 23081 build up later on today hehe.
UPDATE: 23081 has it's ups and downs, I am still tryin to work out some bugs (SIP switching issue, and shortcut problem). Not sure if I should just go with EZinput or still work on fingerkb... the shortcuts is a whole different problem. Time is somewhat of an issue as well. Perhaps I should try beefing up 23071, I dunno at this point...
ANOTHER UPDATE: decided against throwing 23081 up coz it's not respecting my authority! but enjoy my latest creation
I really like this ROM but when it is installed I can not get online, if I use the Glass ROM or the original I get online no problem until I install this one I am probally not doing something right
From what I notice I guess some ROM's already have carrier settings plugged into them. I've got a thread over here that should help u get back online.

I'm guessing you're talking about the t-mo settings. Thanks for confirming it works... I always wanna post just good info... since I'm on AT&T it's kinda hard for me to confirm the t-mo post. If you like this one, you'll like my 23089 I should be uploading soon.

hey do i need to format to fat32 and flash to sd for this update??
The thing is designed to be used through the RUU, but if you want I don't see any issue with flashing through an SD card.
Make sure you're Hard_SPL, and as long as your card is a regular Micro SD and not SDHC... have at it.
