o2 xda-mini uk release date?

anyone know when this will be released in the uk on o2?
i e-mailed o2 but they said they could not tell for me some reason but to keep checking their website.
also im looking for a wi-fi sd card for it,any reccomendations and where to purchase?

Its only because we (Europeans) are not out looking for weapons of mass disstraction and thus have more time to play with our new toys.

I am not agree this . HTC was made all PPC in Taiwan , and Dopod sell HTC PPC in Asia , now HTC own Dopod , HTC had own company in European that's why you had new PPC early than others , we will see in the future is Asia or European get faster, :lol:
The states always got later than European because US carriers ony two carriers had some of HTC PDA and in states we dont 3G ,why we can get 3G phone early than European or Asia ? :?

[/b]Seems Asia and Europe will get the new 3G at the same time. Financial news in Taiwan this morning reported 2 models from HTC which looks the same as those being circulated in Europe. To0 bad the US is somewhat lagging in releases like this. Maybe madmonkey can get some imports once it's out

The HTC TyTN AKA Hermes.... my mates had this on test for quite a few months, apparently Voadfone will be having this device soon as there new 3g one...

Qtek and i-Mate were the only manufactures to deliver these devices besides telco providers.
Now that HTC takes over Qtek, they can rule the market, and push i-Mate in a corner.
I'm afraid that it won't be a fair competition.

i've been told the hermes (v1605) will be shipped by Vodafone UK from 10th July.

HTC didn't take over Qtek; Qtek has always been HTC's own brand! Same with Dopod which HTC has aquired recently.

[Question] Does anyone know Differences between Omnia 8GB and 16GB, UK and WWE Models

All,
OK The first point I realise there is the memory difference, but has anyone else noticed or heard of any other differences. As I was under the impression the 16GB would not be a UK release model but now t-mobile has it on contract and it also appears on expansys.
And if you look there also seems to be WWE and UK models, so I wondering if people have got the WWE or UK and noticed any issues with firm updates or application working or not working.
Also is the radio chips difference as I be looking to using my abroad as well as in the UK.

I have emailed them, but I was also wondering if people had any epxirence they could share or if others have been able to get any information. If and when I get ny meaningful response from Samsung I post here as well.
As I sure others are thinking the same as me, as iy could use be a warranty issue.

Android 2.1 ROM's not ready for O2 UK

IMPORTANT:
Hello everyone, I just was trying to download and install Android 2.1 (haret) on my Htc Diamond 2 in these last 3 weeks without any luck.
Unfortunately I found out that all the Roms from xda or from other sources installed cannot connect with O2 Uk Network....With friends at Carphone Warehouse and O2 stores we arrived at the conclusion that for some reasons the Roms are not writed to get O2. BT Cellnet was the old name for O2 but there's a problem on data, No Internet connection or at times not even 2G or 3G signal. Does anyone on xda-developers aware of this? Is there a solution?. We really appreciate if someone give us some information. Vodafone. Orange and T-Mobile have no problems whatsoever...We would like the same for O2. Thanks
