^_^ well, im in the process of learning about making themes... and I wanted to share what i have so far.
these all support landscape. They are QVGA.
(I did not draw these... I only made the themes.)
im still struggling with getting the Start menu text from white to black upon changing a theme... Is there a way for this to be done automaticly instead of with a reg tweek on the end user's side? ...

*******edit update: whoa! the setting to change start menu colors was right in my face. wow... so im fixing all the ones that need fixed. *done*

These themes are really good, 0okami. I'm using the nekomimi theme now. But you are right that it'd be nice to see the text in black in some of the others.

UPDATE: TSK uploaded. Frosty effect on the start menu. Made the tsk a bit way too big though.
Guys, I'm sure it doesn't need to be said, but try not to go too explicit/hardcore. Ie nothing with four legs or feathers... otherwise, please use your own judgement.

All things said, here are some more themes for you:
the first one suffers from the same as the other light color ones... the start menu's white text...

I understand which one vijay555 decided to give his warning about. Dp_moe_2 I have that image as one of the 2000 or so images that are randomly selected for my computer's wallpaper ^_^ I also like the xmas ones. It's too bad that the memory in the 8125 is so small since I can't store themes on the storage card >_<

At last:
Now we have a way to have a big button Dailer Skin WITH Smartdail.
I have rebuild the dll from scratch, and now we can use it for dailerskinning WM6.
The attached skin is a BETA, this means not everyting looks nice, but it is a great starting point for making new skins, or adapting existing skins.
To do (DLL):
-Layout tweaking (I am not happy yet with the overal layout)
Please post your suggestions here, and I'll consider them, and the good ones will be incorperated into the dll, and eventualy into the dailer-skin builder I am working on.

OMG I freaking LOVE you man! It looks amazing! I am going to keep it! It looks a lot better than the standard layout, and GREAT for dialing with the fingers (I have an invidisible shield screen pretector so its practically scratch resistant). Not only that, for some reason, it FIXED my redialing issue. With the new crossbow rom, it wouldn't call the most recent person on the history list because it was organized in alphabetical order. A history log should obviously be organized by TIME. But i dunno man, it works and I just wanted to say kudos! U have really made my device a million times easier to call vai touch screen. To begin, touch screens alone are rather annoying to call from because there simply isn't any "physical push-back" button response. But with the large buttons, its practically FLAWLESS. THANKS AGAIN!
It is something i would consider using permanently. However some minor suggestions would be to shrink the text of the list of last people called so you and possibly widen it across the screen, so you could see more than just two recent entries.

As for the sugestions:
The backspace button is a bit in the way for the calllist, but I'll try to widen the list and still keep a backspace button in one form or another, or else find a way to edit the fontsize of the list.

Well, I am working on a program that will create the skin for you.
Just choose the background, select the button-layout, adjust the transparency of the buttons, press: build cab, and presto, you have created a new skin
I am beta testing a part of it now, looks very promissing

I was referring to hermes.
If you would send me the tapres.dll and the tapres.dll.0419.mui I could try to make it compatible with the hermes.
However I can't test it because I don't own a tytn (yet ).

This version works on WM5? I can't upgrade to WM6 year because BT DUN has been removed so I'm stuck for now.
FYI this is working great on my Cingular 8525 (Hermes) with WM6.
Wow! Really nice dialer! I love it!
I wonder if you could do the same thing with the dialer from the wm5 that looks cool. I downloaded from somewhere and it is the dialer in Vista style! I am attaching it.

It's a feature from wm6..
You 'll see the contact info, and then dail.
I love this program but I have a couple of problems with it..
1. Is there any way there can be a exceptions list added?
Eg. It sends all sound to earpeice except ring tone. As I keep missing mssgs and calls as I cant hear them arrive..
2. This one isnt as important but would be nice, I'm Rocking a full Dusk theme inc Icons but the at the top is a unsightly grey box, any way of skinning it? Hell if some one is willing to educate me I'll do it and post it for others!
I just love this program soo much! (especially with Skype! Coupled with Pocket shield makes Skype actually bearable! )

I have seen several times that the small clock which appears in the front page

I use CHT 1.8.5.
I put on my screen 3 notification icons (CHT feature) - miss.calls, sms, e-mail.
I use manila but on my slider there is no sms card or e-mail card.
When sms,calls,e-mail comes, notification shows number. When I tap on miss.calls notification button, it works and it opens.
But when I tap on the other buttons nothing happens - notifications show there is an e-mail, sms, but tapping on them doesnt open my e-mail account or sms-client.
Can it be "fixed"?

Should work. Switch to CHT 2.0 - much more to play with, loads still to come and SMS/Email notifications definitely working there (plus slick new SMS and email widgets too...)

thx, I know CHT 2.0 has much more features. But as far as i know it's no stable, has some buges etc, it's beta. so i must wait.
but I now in 1.8.5 it should work this properly but it doesnt maybe because i have disabled e-mail sms manila card disabled. i dont like them
so does anybody know the trick to do it? something in the registry?
its still beta, so i would wait for alpha release..
dont know a solution for your problem..mine works pretty well (same version)..ask in cht thread.

My CHT works great, but i dont know why pushing these notification buttons works onlu with missed calls, and doesnt with email and sms.

I dont see why you wouldnt at least try 2.0 and see if you get any bugs.....
ive been using it for a while now and havent had any "major" bugs....
had some quicklinks move around a few times but not since the first alpha...
When you consider the amount of people saying its unstable compared to the amount of people using it........... looks like a pretty solid beta to me...
I wouldnt expect to see the final version for a while because the beta is performing well........
back to your problem.......
I dont think it will work if you turn off the tabs/cards....
have you tried turning them on and testing your notification icon......
