FM Radio on TyTN II? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

guys ... is there anyone who knows if we can install a FM radio on a windows device ... isnt this a feature missing on our PDA's? please facilitate if any of u know a way out..
Thankz nhz

FM Radio requires hardware the Kaiser does not have.

who needs fm radio when you can stream Satellite/Internet Radio??
Most FM stations have mms streams available...

well, fm is for free, streaming is not.
Also fm just works if you get the right frequenzy, streaming often has some issues.
A few years ago, i saw a FM radio antenna to plug into the headphonejack of pdas. Dont know though if it would work with the kaiser + headphonejack adapter.

This was tried by dutty a few months ago. A cab was circulated for testing.
The bottom line is that, as someone stated above, the kaiser doesn't have the hardware.

FM Radio doesnt work!
You need a special Blue Tooth Chip with Radio built in. If this chip isnt in your device ... you can do nothing! after that you can mess a round with your radio rom to switch this function on ... or you must patch your spl too :->

-or- use a BT Headset that has an FM radio ... like I do with a Motorola S705, then you can stream if you want, or FM if you want.

I just use htcradio.com and stream through media player. Gets the job done.
977 radio?
977 radio works great on my touch pro 2 but fails to buffer and load up on my HD2.
by the way, using the "mymobiler" option to input your info in the pandora radio cab for the touch pro 2 works GREAT!!! this is an awesome tip and a excellent way to get pandora on the HD2. only problem is you need to create your "radio stations" while connected thru mymobiler or thru pandora's website (if possible)
anyone have a clue how to fix the 977 radio cab to work on HD2? it launches the media player like the TP2 but fails yet comes preloaded with a "streaming media player" yeah right!! thats about useless...
HELP PLEASE ANYONE
Slacker comes on the device and is free to use.
GrooveFish is another.

im aware of slacker. it works great in 3G but while at my work, im in edge which causes gaps between songs, sometimes 3-5 minutes in length before a song resumes, sometimes not at all. miatsu whatever the hell its called works good. pandora works good but lower quality. just wanted to use what im used to which was 977 radio. htc radio.com is working good also. i finally got a good stream list to choose from. just hard to believe 977 radio DOESNT work on HD2 which is truly a better windows phone than TP2
Well, i am looking for a way to play the intrnet stream www.etn.fm on my htc hd2. On my normal computer i use mine beloved old sxhool winamp. So i downloaded Winamp for my hd2 (says beta version though) and it works fine with my normal music library, but i can not get the internet streaming to work. Can anyone help please? Thanks
bump. Any advice please?

You can try this one. I havent tried it yet, but some say it works.
Feedback welcome
i think SPB Radio, Resco Radio and Wunder Radio are fantastic options (but sadly, they're not free)
on the other hand, you could go to shoutcast.com in favorite web browser, hit the change default player button and stream your fav tunes to your device!

Listen to music using mono Bluetooth Headset

Hello!
I´m planning to buy a mono ("one-ear") BT headset to get my calls on the go, but I´d also like to listen to my musics on it.
I´ve done some research on google about any hack or program that would let me do this, however I don´t know if these programs work on WM 6.5, because they´re a little old.
Has anyone tried or is still using a program that works on nowadays cellphones (like Touch HD)? I just need this to buy a mono BT headset.
The programs I´ve heard of are: Bluetooth Audio v1.0, BlueAudio, BlueMusic.
Thank you very much in advance!
BlueTooth Audio 1.0 works with 6.5/6.5.x.
This is not a software release and does not belong in this category. See "Questions".
Moved as not software release.
Sorry for posting in the wrong area.
I´m gonna buy the BT earphone and tell if it worked.
Thanks!
It should definately work if you get BlueAudio3 as I use it every day Rollerblading with a mono bluetooth (SE HBH-PV740). Have fun!

[APP REQUEST] FM Radio App with recording

hy,
i am searching for a real fm radio app (no web radio) special for moto defy what support loudspeeker and no headphones (i know its the antenna but on some places it not needs a headphone antenna) and very important for me and i think not only for me is a recording function.
i am not a programmer, but i am wondering why there is no FM Radio app for Android around? is it so much harder as all the other apps around ? or is it more a problem of the different hardwares in the phones, but on the other hand also wifi, cam etc.. works on the different phones with "one" app.
i am shure many many users world wide will pay more as only 1$ for a fm radio app (me include).

See my sig for my FM Radio app, mostly working well on CM ROMs which also have the CM FM app.
Yes it IS much harder, because Google didn't define an FM Radio API, or develop a reference FM app.
So I've been stuck doing labor/time intensive reverse engineering of the TI and Broadcom FM chips. AND I need APIs I can call from my app to control the FM hardware. AND I need code to handle the audio routing issues which may be different from phone to phone.
Google (and Apple) may have some ad/music revenue issues that have stopped them from supporting FM. Rumors continue about Apple "monetizing" FM however.
Sony Ericsson is working on an API but it remains to be seen if it will become useful.

Interesting, thanks for the link.
So Tune-In will support recording on Android now...
But it's a streaming app of course, and limited to stations that are online, and where-ever (and how much $-ever) data services are available.
look at resco. They say they have such a app.

Do you mean a REAL FM app that works over airwaves without a data connection ?
I only did a quick google, but found this that seems to say they will NOT develop a real FM app due to the issues that are currently plaguing me. IE. different phones require different code.

FM Radio for Local FM Stations

Hello There.
Looking to buy Vivo Nex mobile. But stuck at one point. Want to have FM Radio to tune local stations. I'm a FM lover.
Can someone confirm whether there is FM Radio available on this device. As i see there is no FM Radio mentioned on any website.
If FM chip is ready but locked for future updates, Then i can wait to get unlocked from future updates or if there is no FM chip is available then comes me a big question to go with it or not.
There is no other words to point out but if FM then it is complete Daily driver for me. Please help me to choose the right.

Is there a radio app that will use the S10's built in FM radio?

Hi, does anyone know if there Is there a radio app that will use the Samsung S10 plus built in FM radio, rather than having to use internet streaming apps.
I read that the s10 plus does receive FM signals but all the radio apps i keep downloading seem to be internet stream only.
Thanks
James.
