I've bought a HTC S710, which is locked on the provider "KPN". My simcard is another provider so i want to unlock my s710.
Could this be done for free? I see some site's that will do it, but very expensive(50 dollars or something). They also want me to send my phone to them, which i don't trust..
So has someone a free program/can someone give me my unlock code if I give me my imei number(or some other things from my phone, but my phone has to stay here)?

You are a newbie so you are probably not aware that what you want is called SIM unlock. The solution is one thread down, here.

There are several sources for unlocking:
first contact the operator where it locked to, some give the code for free (T-Mobile Germany.
contact jockyw2001 here for reasonable offers (usually cheaper than commerical sites)
compare prices of unlocking services and the way they work. The most complete unlocking comes form the guys at http://www.imei-check-uk as they also CID unlock the device (check with them to be sure).
Can remove simlock from HTC Panther - Palm Treo 850/Treo Pro and from any other HTC device.
This service is not free.
You will get unlock code in 5 minutes to 72 hours.

hmm, didn't know the phone was already picked up by a carrier yet. Palm just released the freakin thing unlocked. Unlocking a locked phone is actually easy, quick, and free. Just need to know what you are doing.
So what is the free easy way?
What about unlocking the CDMA versions Sprint, Alltel Bell Mobility Etc.

To unlock CDMA Treo Pro, you need to use BAF MSL Grabber, which is freeware.

That will most probably require flashing the device; assuming you own a Palm Treo Pro GSM, that's not possible right now - there is no Hard-SPL for the GSM Treo Pro right now.

I have a mobile Palm treo 750 at&t 1.13, from my brother who live in US and i live in Sudan i tried to turn on a mobile the not connected it ask me to put code # to be unlock "simlocked", i tried 7 times till now how can i solve this problem, pls. help me.

If your brother's no longer under contract with the ATT...they will give you the unlock code.
