I have just purchased a Sim Free Touch Cruise, It works fine with most Sim Cards except 3, can anyone tell me how and where I can get my Device modded to accept 3 also?
I use Vodofone and 3 but would like to use my 3 sim with my touch cruise.
I am new to this forum, hope this question is Ok and in the right place.

I have a Vodafone SIM which works happily in several Windows Mobile devices and other basic feature phones.
However, I have a Tatung M1 from China which refuses to recognise the SIM. This WM5 Smartphone works fine in the UK with O2, T-Mobile and Orange SIMs.
I had also seen this problem on an unbranded Chinese Windows Mobile 6 Pocket PC. All SIMs apart from Vodafone work well. The Vodafone SIM worked only intermittently, and once signal was lost was never acquired - to the point that the device then decided the SIM was missing.
Does anyone know if there is something specific about Vodafone SIMs which might cause this?
Conversely, has anyone seen this sort of SIM-selectivity in any other Chinese phones before?
Some working theories I'm trying to dismiss:
1. Vodafone UK SIMs are thinner than average.
2. My Voda UK SIM is bent out of shape
I don't think either of these is likely because in at least 20 other phone models the same SIM has no problem being recognised.
Apologies if this has been asked and dealt with before. A search for vodafone, tatung, SIM, and Chinese didn't come up with anything I could recognise as useful.

I have a friend in the US that uses Verizon as his Cell Company. He does a lot of traveling.
So, 2 statements and then what I am looking for:
1. International Phone calls on a Verizon Phone is prohibitive. (duh)
2. Verizon has a GREAT International Data Plan.
Is there a phone that can run on Verizon (CDMA) but has a 2 SIM card slots that (unlocked of course) that can be used with a local country SIM Card (GSM). AND also allows one to use the Verizon SIM to allow access to the Data Plan. Crazy? I do not think so. Possible? I am not sure.
Any guidance is appreciated as it would be nice to have only one smart phone when travelling.

I believe the CDMA touch pro 2 has a sim slot but it has to be unlooked oli and cmonex have a thread that unlocks your phone for a small fee head over to the touch pro 2 CDMA forum to find out more

Hello, i got my 7 pro unlocked today, i want to be able to run 2 sims in which i can buy a dual sim tray off amazon. This is where i am lost, do i just find a cheap carrier and buy there sim card as well as my t-mobile sim? and have 2 numbers, 1 for work other for family and friends? like i would use the t-mobile one for friends/family, other for work or whatever. Any suggestions on a cheap one, i'm in the US?
