Hi. Bought mine a few weeks ago, after I installed a few sofwarez on it, i encountered a problem. The GSM network icon and the volume icon in the taskbar simply disappeared! Every now and then, I get HALF of the network icon back... Its annoying, since I travel a lot and sometimes I don;t have coverage, and don;t even know it. Any ideas that might help? Other than hard reset, that is....
what softwarez have you installed? do they have any icons that block the icons that are missing? why don't you try uninstalling some of the applications you have installed and see if it gets fixed rather than hard-resetting?

Tried unistalling everything, the problem is still there. The only software I had that had icons in the toolbar was Spb GPRS monitor, and that is gone as well...
Do ou know of any software that would in any way enhance the toolbar? I'm thinking that if I install such a toolbar related utility, the software itself might force those icons to reappear...

i was installing this new wadv skin and suddenly when i rebooted i noticed by fonts dissaperaed!
i can see my today screen fonts however my system fonts are gone.
so wierd i tried ressetting and they dint come back.
i cant read any thing lthough the icons do appear.
i also tried going to safe mode using pocket plus 3 and still the same results!

fonts apparently turned white
guys i think i noticed that the fonts dint disappear but ay have apparently turned white. i cant really go through the menus and cant use regedit coz every thing is whited out.
any ideas please help
same think happen to me.... sounds like a virus... my icons appear... but there are no fonts... so too are my sms.... I Can't read anything... its gone.. any other programs also has the same effect, I virtually can't do anything....
to make matters worse, nothing happens when I try to open contacts or calendar or the phone function...
I can't get any network signal, its blocked out too....
in desperation now and I can't seem to have any hits of people having this problem and offering a solution for this.....
How do I get my way round this?....
When I open any application, all the icons in the taskbar are "shifted" to the right, resulting in time and date disappearing, and volume and network moving to the far right of the taskbar.
I had a recent hard-reset, and have been trying a few task managers recently (pbar, xbar) but even after unistalling these, problem persists.
Any clue?

I have wm5 since nearly 1 year, and previous to the hard-reset everything was normal...
Setting--->System---->Clock & Alarms---->More Check tick box

I'm facing a minor problem with my latest WM6 rom. It could be specific to Jwright's newest ROM, however I'm starting a new post since it may also happen on other ROMs as well.
Most of the times I soft reset, when my device (Qtek 9000) boots up most of the icons on Settings menu (specifically on Systems and Connection tab) disappear completely.
I also have the same problem with the SPB Traveler today plugin (it may or may not appear) but it isn't related with the Settings icons (one appears, the other not and vice versa).
It's not that big of a deal, since after a couple of repeated resets the problem is solved, but it's a bit annoying to have to reset my device 3-4 times in order to fix this :/
Anyone else facing the same problem?
I have a tilt (8925) from ATT and I have an original rom. I have HTC Home plugin and SPB mobileshell 2.0 and other SPB software installed. I also have Pocketmusic installed. When I change plugins once or twice it is ok. When I do it more than twice, my icon disappear from the Today screen. I would have to do a softreset to to get it back. Occassionally, I would loose the icon if listen to music or use other application for a period of a long time. Is there any regestry entry I need to do to get a better refresh rate or refresh the icon without soft reset? Please don't tell me to download refreshtodaycmd because it does not work for me. I have tried many refresh application and it still does not do anything for me.
I had a lot of issues like this when using SPB products. I have stayed away from them for a while. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. Maybe someone has a fix for you. Good luck.
So since I got my S6 edge a couple weeks ago, the WiFi was always kind of ****ty. Some programs (instagram, facebook etc...) wouldn't load pictures for a while, or some would load and then stop, refreshing would take forever etc.... 3G was even faster. Anyways, after some experimenting I found a program called "DNSet" that while running completely fixes the problem. I think it sets the DNS on the phone to the google servers but it also puts an icon on the top of the phone and a notification bar on the lock screen. I hate this screen clutter and I was wondering if anyone knew how to have the same affect without needing this program to run. Any help would be awesome!
