Hi,
i have O2 Exec,
flashed this version of WM6
Jwrightmcps Crossbow ROM Update 2.12.06 WWE
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343736
it works ok, but doesn't see my 8Gb SDHC card (actually i see only 3,8GB)
I tried to flash another roms, but my uni is not booting after install. Only this one (Jwrightmcps Crossbow ROM Update 2.12.06 WWE) is working. When i try to boot my phone O2 logo is displaying and thats it.
Question: is it enough to download and install new rom, or i need to install somethink else? I tried also to install 6.1 rom, but it doesnt boot my phone also.
If i need to install somethink else, can you add link also
Thanks for help.
I have one idea what i did wrong.
When i flashed new rom i started it ehat windows was launched (not from bootloader). Is it possible that this way i break my radio and after that my new rom won't start?
i looked wiki, but i didn't get answer
Thank you for not anwering
Still have same problem
Hey folks -
I upgraded my ATT Tilt to DUtty's 6.1 today (first time flashing).
Anyway, after sound wasn't working I read up on the radio information and decided to go with 1.64.08.21 based upon what some folks said worked for them in various posts.
To flash the ROM, I am using JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.exe loaded onto the device.
Dutty's worked fine, but the radio made it to 99% then hung. I waited for 3-4 minutes and nothing happened, but the flashing tool said it lost connection. I followed the recover steps including a hard reboot (and went to the tree color screen with "serial" at the bottom), but now each try just hangs at 0% when trying to install the radio ROM.
What do I do?
Thanks,
Tom

1.) Disable USB connections in activesync.
2.) Put your phone into the tri-color screen.
3.) Flash the original shipped ROM.
Something i learned this past week from another poster, that had a problem. U can't JumpSPL a radio Rom.
Try flashing a 6.0 rom and see from there. I assume you couldn't Hard SSPL your device? if this is not the case then your better off doing that
I tried hardspl and it didn't work - constant white screen.
Thanks for the tip on original ROM, trying that now.

did you try the hrdspl, white screen solved thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=354061
jocky made it so you can flash hardspl from what I understand.
you can also try this to get hardspl on your device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=361236
Does this mean I need to avoid flashing at all if I cannot use hardspl?
avoid flashing radio, but try the links that tater posted and see if it solves your problem.
Thanks, everyone...just got back to ATT stock rom and all is well again. Will try the links posted above!

just be careful to follow the instructions to the letter. Good luck.
Just finished re-doing everything. I was confused regarding the fact that JumpSPL didn't replace HardSPL, it just helped getting it working.
Just finished reinstalling ditty and the same radio version and all is working great.
Now off to figure out how to play with TouchFlo and Cube.
Thanks!!!

very welcome. glad to see you back up and running.
I'm currently stuck on the SPL/bootloader/tri-color screen on my ATT Tilt. I've read the threads and postings on how to recover, but I do not see a situation like mine.
I've been using Dutty's WM6.1 Hybrid v2 5.2.19716/5.2.19700 about 4 months now since May 07. It's been working just fine, but up until a couple of days ago the phone does not power up when pressing the power button. I have to connect it to a power source, then the phone will power up to the SPL. I HardSPL'd originally and then flashed with Dutty's ROM. I have no explanation why it is stuck in SPL.
I tried to re-flash Dutty's ROM. it goes to 100% and the flash app tells me it's finished. I try to restart the Tilt, but same old SPL screen. Should I try to flash OEM ROM?
It would appear to me that ANY ROM is better than no ROM. Try another ROM, then if you like Dutty's, flash Dutty's after you get the phone working with the new ROM. It's what I would do. BTW, this really should be put in Dutty's Thread with the ROM you're referring to.

Hi experts,
I have an old Wizard that works well, but I want to update it.
I flashed the 3.08 SPL and Radio 2.71. It works very well with these.
I have the T-mobil ROM 2.26 on it.
When I flash ANY ROM, the process works perfectly, BUT (!!!) the handset reconfigures itself with the T-mobile 2.26 stuff, and the reported version HAS NOT CHANGED.
Can you suggest a solution please?
O, I had pulled the SD card out.
Thanks
Eric
You flash a different rom, it updates it, finishes at 100% and tells you everything is ok. then WM loads and you see the previous rom?
Hi all,
i'm new in this forum, my name is Alessandro and my PDA is
a HTC Touch HD (Blackstone).
I've encountered a problem flashing cooked rom like ROM Energy, Black-X,
blackstonehenge etc. (installation procedure stops ever around about 70%).
It appen flashing both by Activesync (USB connection, antivirus/firewall not active) and flashing by micro sd.
In my PDA i've installed HSPL Olinex 1.56 (i can see it in boot screen), but i can't install any rom except Phoenix 1.1 based on WM 6.5.
I tried also to format the PDA with procedure suggest by mtty software, but nothing changed.
Can someone help me to resolve the problem? Is the HSPL OliNex 1.56 right
for cooked rom i tried to install?
Thanks and excuse my poor english.

I know this is an old thread, but I am just adding a reply to those with similar problems in the future.
If you are flashing from microSD, then the problem might be with the microSD. Try using another (you may have to try a few) microSDs ranging from Class2-Class4. I have no problem when flashing from Class2 or Class4 microSD.
