Ok, maybe this is a silly question But I'm wondering if there is a Today plug-in with a clock like the HTC Home one, something like this:
I'm only keeping the Home plugin for the clock right now, but a separate Today clock would be the best. Maybe not as big, but if it was skinnable it would be nice
If there are many plugins that do this, which do you recommend?

you can try the samsung clock - not as big as home though
or try BatteryStatus with a nice Theme

I second that, you can also give rlToday a shot with the different options, there is a long thread with many configurations.

Don't see how it can be slower. The files I've replaced are the same file sizes as the stock. So it shouldn't be using more resources. I've not notice a performance hit on my device. Anyone else with performance issues?

First, thanks for trying out my theme. Here's the problem with your request. The little icons i made for the home tab (phone, calendar, and alarm) were actually all in one particular manila file. This manila file unfortunately also contains pieces of the digital clock. So, it's all or nothing.
Since I thought the transparent clock is more popular, I decided to go with that. If more people raise this issue, then I'll make a version with the stock clock.

+1 for stock clock.
Love the theme, but the stock clock style is more visible in bright sunlight.

I think so.And it cant work on 1.48 stock Rom.

On my hd2 crashed trying, but probably i was wrong.
Nothing special at the end.. so:
cookiesHome+ CHEditor + well cooked rom (+ HDwall )

Now that we have a great (AOSP ) ROM for our Hero’s, we can start sharing themes, launchers and many other add-ons that work and have been tested on the Darchdroid v2 ROMS. Hopefully this thread will grow.
Being the first I would like to share that LauncherPro Beta ( can be downloaded from the market ) . This launcher is great and very fast .. almost 100% customizable and can be set to have up to 7 screens …

Agreed on launcherpro.. I was using helixlauncher at first but launcherpro seems faster.
Anyone find any themes that play nice? I have tried 2 so far and got boot loops on both.
As for launchers I'm partial to ADW Launcher for Darch's rom. It's quick and very customizable which is the best part. Has the froyo taskbar look with 2 customizable main shortcuts and an app drawer for additional apps. Also gives the nifty swipe left to right for the main app drawer ala iphone, and the SenseUI style jump out screen preview.
My favorite feature by far though is the ability to hide the notification bar. Gives a really nice way to show off your wallpaper, especially since you can set it so the home button shows and hides it again so you can still check it.

EDIT : Also a question for everyone else.. is it possible to get the rotary lock on darchdroid? When the update comes out I'm probably gonna see if the metamorph for it will do it but I doubt it :/

i have it to and it does work great..onlything i noticed is that wen u launch the weather its kinda laggy for a second or so but i can live with that ..

They have a weather skin called none to clear out the images on the widget so you dont always have 2 suns or 2 moons...I dont know if you really care but it irritated me having the repeating image.
How would a user go about using MetaMorph and this rom?

Does cpu hog really hog up a lot of the battery? I'm using it and I want to know if I should uncheck that box.

well since the battery fix , im trying out other launchers to see what one works best ... im getting some really bad lag and i dont know if its beutifull live wall pappers or the launcherpro ...

so i installed ADW and i like it ..runs very nice ..thank you for that ..
however ever since the battery update the Beautiful weather live wallpaper sucks ..very very laggy ...

I dont know about a message widget but I'm fond of the pop up for hand cent.
Also I want a good calendar too and maybe a better alarm clock.

Hi everyone,
I'm very new at this site and not sure if it is the right place post the thread but anyway.
A friend of mine and I are especially interested in cooking Cookie Home Tab widgets. We are located in Russia and primary doing iPhone development but I have some win mo relevant experience.
We got a few things working like google search and notes.
As for now it is buggy and design is ugly=)
We'll continue our work and finally I hope will release a widgets pack.
I'd like to get some help :
1. Please vote for widgets that you like most of all
You can post Android or Yahoo widgets links for reference
2. We are looking for a designer who can make it all look better and work on skin packs
I will put it all together at my site next week.
Please let me know your thoughts

Yes but it is a very small button and it comes with digital clock which is unnecessary. Also it is hard to tell if the alarm is on or off by looking that button.

Right now the widgets that are in progress do not have any skin at all.
It is just an input box for search and white area for notes.
I'd like to get some ideas for design.
It should be simple, intuitive and follow general manila look and feel.
I would appreciate any art works for now.
We can make a simple voting and choose the most popular to apply.
However I'd like to provide several skins and layouts for each widget in future.

I hope we would get some visual presentation for the alarm widget.

The implementation looks pretty simple if we gonna use standard alarm to grep some data. I will take a look and get back to you soon.
Any chance of getting a hold of the basic image files you have? just to get a feel for the dimensions and what goes where??

I see the soccer ball and have to wonder if this will include other sports like american football
a notes widget.
I think it'd be awesome to have notes displayed in a similar effort to that of the sms widget but maybe in yellow like post its

Have you disabled the calender tab? I mean that one you have in the slider.

It sounds as if your Database is corrupted. Do you get error messages when you sync your Appointments with Outlook via MSDC?

I have same problem with no solution until now.Clear instalation ROM without CHT 2.0 is o.k.Probably is it caused by CHT 2.0 in combination with Artemis ROM in my case.Try CHT 1.8.5

But that seems to be a very annoying error....might be enough to change roms. Since you are having more problems than only this one BeO.

Because look my sig, i use Artemis ROM and CHT 2.0.

Maybe! How much widget you have installed? I have only 5 or 6.
Maybe you should try to uninstall one and then test if it works again. When no, uninstall teh next and test.
If it should be caused by to many widget it should work anytime. If not wasnt that the solution.

I doubt it is related to the number of widgets - I am currently running with 28 widgets installed and have no problems whatsoever! Could the calendar crash be related in any way to the summer time change over the weekend?

We had the the summer time change here to and i have no problems. But we all know each ROM is other! So maybe there is the problem.
