[11 Mar] "Mobile Vista" ROM v1.1 (my Cooked Wm6.1 3.02 ROM) - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Welcome to my little ROM - which I'm calling Mobile Vista. Why this name? Well, like Vista WM6.1 the newest OS available from MicroSoft at the moment, and some people say it's buggy but I love it and found it very stable!
Firstly, thank you very much to EVERYONE on this forum, especially to those who've posted in this thread and sent comments. I've taken bits for my ROM from pretty much everywhere and everyone, so I can't list everyone whose work I'm using (as I simply don't remember who I got most of it from). If anyone in particular feels annoyed that I've used their work, please PM me and I'll either remove it or credit you accordingly (your choice).
Please take the time to read ALL of this post and post 2. There are a few things I've worked hard on including that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Why did I release a ROM?
I know I'm not the greatest chef (by a long way) but there wasn't anything out there that was JUST the way I wanted it. I loved parts of most ROMs, but each one had something missing, or something I didn't want, so I set about adding/removing the bits myself. I've ended up with a ROM that I like and so I thought I'd share it. I know lots of you will dismiss it, it will never be as good or popular as Duttys, Schaps, Slueth, etc, but if one other person uses it then it was worth the time uploading and sharing it!
Onto the ROM itself:
It started life as Slueth's WM6.1 v3.0, but I've made a LOT of changes since then - ripping bits out, adding bits in, it's been a blast!

Changelog:
v1.1
Removed MS Voice Command (over the legal line I'm afraid)
Changed HTC X-Button 2.0 to X-Button 1.51 (2.0 has bugs that caused nearly all reported faults in v1)
Updated Today Agenda to newest version
Updated Dotfred's Task Manager to newest version
Removed Coreplayer as newer version due out very shortly (so one in ROM would be wasted space when new version comes out)
Changed button settings to reflect reflect of MS VC
Changed sound notifications for SMS, MMS and e-mail to reflect removal of MS VC
Added a couple of new games - Patience and Tangled Bugs
Still to Do
Still a couple of things I can't seem to get to set from flash/hard reset. Once changed, they stay changed, just can't find a way of getting them to start that way:
Even though all the Regional Settings are set to English UK - the option in Settings still shows the default of English US
Can't get the SIP keyboard to start with "Use gestures for the following keys" selected
Screen text size always starts at position 3, I prefer 2
BatteryStatus always starts without the extra lines/indicators showing. I recommend (in the options) ticking everything on page 1, then "Show
more indicators", "Show Powerdrain", "Show WiFi rows", and "Automatically Hide WiFi rows". That's the setup in the screenshots.
Would love to change the Accuweather IE Favourite (which I never use) to XDA-Developers PDA forum, but I can't find where to in my kitchen
Getting rid of customer feedback! I know it goes once you click "no", but can we stop it in the first place?!?
If anyone knows of the way to set any of these within the ROM so they don't have to be done post-flashing, please let me know as they're bugging me!
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to post them - any feedback greatly appreciated.

FAQ and other details
Please ensure you use a WM6.1 compatible Radio with this ROM I use 1.64.08.21 which works fine for T-Mobile UK. Could everyone else please post which Radio ROM and Network they find works so we can build up a list of what works andwhat doesn't?
Version 1.1 was published at post 82. Anything before that is v1, anything after is v1.1 unless the post says otherwise
New to this?
There's no shame in being new! Welcome. To flash a ROM:
- Make sure you have Hard SPL installed first. If you haven't DO IT NOW, really or else your phone may well break.
- Download the ROM (links in post 1)
- Attach phone to PC via cable and make sure Activesync fires up and connects
- Unpack your ROM download, and run the RUU program
- Follow the on-screen prompts
- Wait nervously
- When it's finished flashing, the phone will take a while starting up - this is normal
- When you get to the Align Screen bit, Hard Reset the phone (important)
- Now follow the start-up screens until the phone reboots
- If you haven't already, make sure you've got a WM6.1 compatible Radio installed. If you don't, you'll experience problems with sound (not just in a call), the camera and your legs will probably drop off too!
- When you've got the ROM installed and the right radio installed, you're off and running!
Issues
1 ) - (Thanks to Ionutz6 for another great spot)
Even though I've updated to the newest version, Today Agenda still appears to crash if you access the options through Start > Today > Items > Today Agenda > Options. As a work around, please tap and hold on Today Agenda on the Today screen, and select Options from the context menu. Does anyone have a suggestion for a Today plug-in calendar that does everything Today Agenda does but doesn't crash?
2) - One or two people have found the phone is in Flight Mode immediately after you flash. If your signal strength stays with the cross, check the Comm Manager to turn Flight Mode off.
3) - (Thanks to cgjones for this spot)
Video calling doesn't work. The button shows in the dialer, but pressing the button just initiates a voice call rather than a video one.
FAQ
Why doesn't this include HTC Home or the Cube?
HTC Home is out because it takes up half the Today screen, and FTouchflo interferes with Transcriber, so the Cube went out in favour of handwriting recognition. Everything in this ROM is there because I use it, or like it, or think it's cool boasting material down the pub! If you think something else deserves to be in, suggest it - I can always make another version with it in if I want!
Why do you duplicate your links in Start Menu into the Programs folders too?
I like it that way! I've got the most used ones (for me) directly under Start, then everything inside Programs. To me, that's just the way it should work - like on your PC, pinning something to the Start menu doesn't remove it from the All Programs list.
Other ROMs have more free memory!
That's because there's quite a bit built into this ROM, and because there's probably lots of files i could safely remove to slim it down. Unfortunately I don't know what 95% of the files under Windows do, so I can't tell which ones can be removed and which can't. If you notice one that can be removed, please mention it here and I'll clean it out for version 2.
I think your ROMs rubbish!
Fair enough, I like it and that was the only reason I built it. May I suggest trying Dutty's or Slueth's as a mainstream alternative (although every ROM on here is great these days). Alternatively, grab yourself a kitchen and make your own ROM - it's great fun!

Looks Good..
Just flashed duttys latest, but will remmber this one..
I like the way you have tomtom and MSVC already installed - time saver.. Thanks

So, you are allow to cook M$ Voice Command in a ROM? I think M$ is going to come get you for that!

I thought long and hard about this

Good question. I took the view that MS VC 1.6 is available in several other ROMs and has been floating around here in cab and OEM for a while - just the US version rather than the UK one. I'd be quite happy using the US one, but it doesn't seem to recognise my voice as well as the UK version.
I've tried to avoid anything that might be warez, so you can't use Coreplayer without having a valid serial (which you get by buying the software!) and no maps come with TomTom (just like the other ROMs with it installed). If the mods decide my ROM does fall on the wrong side of the line, then I'll remove it immediately from these pages.
Thanks for the replies guys, it's nice to try to give a tiny something back to the community I've got so much from!

Thanks Duncstar! I'm really glad my first comment was positive, I was half expecting just a load of flaming as I pressed the "Submit Thread" button!

If VC doesn't come pre-installed on a production Kaiser ROM somewhere then it's warez unless you have a sanctioned trial version installed. What other ROMs include this?
Nice ROM btw

i second that comment on alreay havingtomtom and ms voice command already in there i believe faria a mod here use to cook roms with voice command already included! in the hermes forum!

I'm downloading it now b4 the fuzz does decide to come.. But nah, It looks really good, and mmmmm games. I probally install it Fri or Sat, but have you seen any problems with it? Most importantly, have you tried to install Blackberry Connect, and do I need to do anything with it? I am really feeling Sleuth's 3.0, But will try yours this wknd.. Congratulations on it

If anyone flames a cook, send them my direction. If they dont like the food, then go to a different diner.
BTW, nice look. Very well thought out. I can tell you took your time. D/L as we speak.

Bugger! I know there's OEMs for VC in Alex's ROM kitchen (tried to use it to convert it to UK) and a quick search shows there are other ROMs with it installed (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=356683&highlight=voicecommand , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=352203&highlight=voice+command , http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332737&highlight=msvoicecommand ). I haven't tried installing each of these ROMs to see if their version is UK or US, but would I actually need to find one with the UK VC on it for this ROM to stand?
Surely we're not allowed to discriminate against this ROM just because it's accent is different to the others? Doesn't that breach the European Human Rights Act?
Slueth, I am happy to go with your judgement. I'd LOVE to be able to offer others my ROM (in case they find it useful) but I don't want to bring this site into disrepute. I'm going to have to go to bed now (got to be in work in 6 hours!) but if you feel it's got to go, please feel free to delete the download links from the first post.
Thanks.

Never used Blackberry so can't comment on if it works or not. I know I haven't done anything to MAKE it work. Could the first one to try (if the ROM isn't deemed warez and removed) please post the result and I'll pop it in the second post? Thanks.

I'll bring the VC issue up in the "inquisitors" (moderators) section and see what they think.

wow so could
this is the only cooked rom so far that works with voice command announcing incoming calls and messages from the units speaker ,i dont do bluetooth so i am super happy ccamper thanks bro for sharing your cooking!

at least in my case, this rom is not working with new WM6.1 ROM 1.64.08.21, the phone stays off. im trying the 1.64.06.04 right now. maybe it would be fine if ConfusedStu can reccomend a radio ROM for best experience with his ROM.
EDIT: My bad, the phone is default set to OFF, you need to turn it ON in the comm manager in order to work! I thought my radio is the problem... My oh my, this flashing...

Looks good...
I like it.. I will be playing around with it some more.. but odd thing has happened so far.
When i started the phone after the update it vibrated for about 3 min until I went into the sounds and pressed a selection.
I now find that I have no sounds at all - ie if I have the volume set to whatever level I get no sounds (and I have tried selecting other ringtones to see if that was the problem)
Any suggestions?
Cheers

do a hard-reset (keep both soft keys pressed and do a soft-reset, follow instructions). it is usually a good rule of thumb to do a hard-reset right after installing a new ROM, as you may have found out in some of the chef posts around here...

Still no luck

Good thoughts - I did try this and still have no luck - I did work out what the vibration at the start was - I had a voicemail notification that was activating - and that was the vibration.
Further tests hav found this:
1. Media player shows that it is playing - but with no sound.
2. Ringtones vibrate - but no sound.
3. Speakerphone works fine in a call - I can hear the caller and the caller can hear me.
*shrugs* not sure what the issue is..

[21-Aug-2007] XDA Mobile 6 Release 3 (Full and Lite Versions) - BT DUN is back!

XDA Mobile 6 Release 3
Making your Wizard what it should be
XDA Mobile 6 Release 3 (XM6r3 for short) is the third version of the popular XM6 rom for the Wizard. The base rom is the same, but lots of new features, and functionalities, and fixes to a few bugs found in XM6r2a.
There is both a Full (packed to the gills with apps and utilities) and a Lite (not Vanilla, or Clean, but a "Less Filling") version of this rom.
XM6r3 is built on the OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01 rom that was provided to us by InGeNeTiCs from Howard Forums. While this is not the "newest" release of WM6, it is the last known release that was built for the Wizard (ie: its not a port from another HTC Device). Various pieces of the base rom have been upgraded, so some of it is stuff ported from other phones so that it can have newer functionality. Overall, I feel this base is very stable and fast and makes a great base to cook on.
Please Note: this ROM was NOT intended to push the limits on speed optimization or memory optimization. It was made to be functional, stable, and something that I myself wanted and will use. I've found it to very quick and responsive (especially with Overclocking with BatteryStatus), and so far Battery life has been very good for me and those beta testing this. If you have a Battery Drain issue, make sure you flashed back to an official rom before you upgraded to this one, as that should correct extended rom corruption that has been shown to cause battery draining. BatteryStatus is NOT included in this ROM due to how fast changes come out with this application, and not everyone likes it or uses it. If you want to overclock or use other features of BatteryStatus, you are welcome to download and install the latest version of BatteryStatus yourself. I personally use it, and have OMAP set to 247MHz with CPUscalar set from 143 to 247 and Boost set to 260Mhz.
Base ROM Information
The base rom was an "Official" Wizard WM6 ROM that was part of the development cycle of WM6 inside of Microsoft (Dogfood as they call it). The base rom was not a port of another device rom with drivers and stuff pieced and parted onto this one, but this was an actual Wizard WM6.
Windows Mobile 6, OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01
ROM Version: 10.1.0.811 WWE
ROM Date: 08/11/06
Protocol: 4.1.13.09
There is no Radio, IPL, SPL or Extended ROM.
What's In XDA Mobile 6 Release 3?
Both versions have the following (Bolded items are new / upgraded from XM6r2a)
Internet Sharing via BlueTooth DUN (like WM5) is back and available! WM6 Internet Sharing is still there, the BT DUN is in addition to that!
Schap's Advanced Configuration Tool and VoIP Setup Tool
Office 2007
9 Button "Touch" Style CommManager from the Kaiser
VoIP (See next post for instructions to set this up)
SQLCE
Arcsoft Composer 4.2.8.1 with SMS and MMS split apart
pBar 1.4 (replaces HTC X-Button)
Notepad editor
Pocket RAR
SIP Config 2.0.1
SK tsync (replaces SynchroTime in XM6r2a)
Total Commander Beta 2.5 Beta 3
PIM Backup to 2.5
Esmertec Java Manager (replacing Intent Midlent Manager)
Oxios Memory
PHM Alt-Tab (mapped to Button 5 by default)
Windows Live Search searches via Google
WM5torage 1.75
SIM Manager 6.13
dotFred TaskManager (with registry editor link setup and associations built in for .reg files)
Regional Settings default to English (United States) and use a slash for the date seperator (M/dd/yyyy)
Menu sounds work by default
Pressing the "End Call" button does not disconnect GPRS but minimized the active application. Pressing and holding the "End Call" button for about 5 seconds will do a GPRS Disconnect
Internet access over ActiveSync (USB) connection works (You must apply a registry fix on your PC first. See the next post for the fix)
Upgraded .NET compact to 2.0 SP2
delayedexec.exe is in \Windows but is not configured. See this post for details on using this.
The Full Release also contains the following
PocketCM 0.9 a finger friendly contact manager
WinXplore 0.3.2
Mortscript 4.0
mUn designed onscreen Keyboard skin (grey/green one)
Mobile Justice (a security app that will send an SMS if an unauthorized SIM is placed in your phone)
TodayAgenda Beta 1.0
ClearTemp replaces StartClean
Pocket Screen Capture
HTC Audio Manager
CicleBT (Toggle BlueTooth on and off)
1-Calc Lite
PeekPocket 1.2 replaces WiFiFoFum
MoDaCo NoData (so you can turn off data sources)
Smartskey 0.56 (DPAD is set to 0 in the .ini so the up and down scrolling works in the Phone dialer as expected in WM6)
DotFred's SoftKeyAppletEx
WM5NewMenu
Mods made from XM6r2a
In addition to the apps listed above, the following fixes and mods were made to improve the user experience on XM6r3
Fixed reg entries for Glyphcache, File Cache, and File Filter Cache.
Fixed the mapping of .pdf extensions.
Fixed AltTab so it shows up correctly in the Buttons app
Corrected the shortcut location of Smartskey
Added more items to the PIE Favorites
D pad now works differently with PIE. Up and down presses on the D Pad stay the same, but pressing right jumps forward a page and pressing left jumps backwards a page. Makes going through websites easier (IMO).
Fixed the A2DP registry for sampling
Registry Entries for PIE Connections to speed page loading
Registry Entries to increase In Call Volume
Requirements
You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
You MUST be running ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP (Vista comes with the correct sync utility, although there have been issues reported about Vista and sync'ing with PPC's so be aware of that).
Before you attempt to upgrade to this ROM, Please follow this thread to learn how to flash roms, CID unlock your phone, and how to fix issues you may run into! It is also recommended that you flash your phone with a Windows XP computer and not Vista. It will work with Vista, but if you run into problems Vista can't talk to a phone in Bootloader mode!
Recomendations
I HIGHLY Recommend that you flash back to an official rom before upgrading to this (or any) custom rom so you have a clean base (and correct any Extended ROM corruption you might have). G4 users would flash back to their provider's latest official release or the Wizard Love ROM. G3 users can use T-Mobile 2.26 for a good base.
If you use BatteryStatus (its NOT included in the rom!) to overclock, I don't recommend overclocking above 260Mhz, and the CPUscaler settings in BatteryStatus should not be set to a min lower than 143MHz (or your device may not wake back up after going to sleep).
Newer Radio ROMs on WM6 have had issues in the past (especially for Cingular / AT&T users). T-Mobile 2.19 (UK or NL versions) seems to be the most stable, but you can now run newer radios with the attached cab. This cab also works for some other providers but not for all, so its up to you to test what works for your phone.
Credits
I've moved the credits to the 5th post of this thread as this post has become too big.
Known Issues
The base rom has a bug / feature where if GPRS is active, unanswered calls may not show up as a missed call and may not give notification of the unanswered call. If this happens, the unanswered call shows up in the history as an answered call with a duration of 1 or 2 seconds.
Every WM6 rom I've tried has an issue where if you use the "Press and Hold" of the CommManager button to switch to and from Vibrate mode, that the ringtone may not play when not in vibrate mode. To work around this go to Settings > Phone and play your ringtone and your ringing will work again.

How to not have a 24hour Clock (or how to show AM/PM)
This works on all WM6 roms
Go to Start > Settings > System > Regional Settings
Make sure you have the correct Region selected
Click on the Time tab
Click on the drop down box for Time Style
Notice the little up and down arrows? This is a scrolling region in this dropdown. Click the up arrow a couple of times and you'll find h:mm:ss tt
Thats it. Microsoft is amazing at having a 2 line scrolling region on this dropdown. You'd think they would have had at least 3 or 4 lines show up for chosing (and it would be more obvious that its a scrolling region then too).
GPRS / MMS Setups
First, here is The Ultimate Thread with people posting operator settings for about all providers! In the first post is a link to the thread where walshieau is creating an automated way of setting up all of these!
What follows is a list of automated and manual ways of setting up GPRS and MMS for various cell providers and regions that I've collected:
Attached to this post is the cab file for Cingular users to setup GPRS and MMS.
For T-Mobile US users, here's a link to a thread by Lurch with 3 cabs for the various plans. Famewolf tested the 3rd one and it worked for him.
For T-Mobile US users, here's a link to a post by FZZF that has info for your setup of GPRS and MMS by hand
Here's another link with cab files for T-Mobile US users:

For those having issues connecting to the internet via Active Sync, cut and paste this code onto your PC in a file called net_over_activesync.reg and run it (on your PC not your phone)
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]
"AllowLSP"=dword:00000000
Splash Screens and Splash Only RUU for G4
For G4 users, I've attached a zip file with the Splash Screens of this rom (since you don't get them when you use the shell tool). As I understand it, this is completely safe for a G4 as its nothing but splash screens (no OS, IPL, SPL, Extended ROM, etc, just splash and htc logo screens). I've also placed the .bmp files that make up the splash screen in the zip file so you can see them directly before flashing this. Before anyone asks, yes, the htc logo one is grainy. I had to do that due to size limitations of the file. I tried for a couple of hours to get a nicer version to work but it wouldn't display correctly (seems to have to be pretty low res / non-complex)
If you have problems flashing the above RUU on a G4, then extract this http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29158&d=1152698784 and pull the nk.nbf file out of the above Splash Screen file and put it into the directory of this one and run this RUU. You can use the same method for flashing the Radio Only ROM (pull the nk.nbf file out of the radio only rom and put it into the directory of this RUU and run it). Thanks anichillus for that link! You can also check this thread for another RUU that is in English and seems to work for most G4 users. Thanks Vippie!
Weather Panel Setup
See my post in the Wizard forum on how I setup WeatherPanel. It will give you a fixed dll with correct moon phases through 2008, new/better Moon phase icons, and a cool theme called Chameleon-240 QVGA. I dumped SBSH Pocket Weather after seeing this setup
Hermes Black Cabs that may be of Interest
Transcriber can be added back into XM6r3 by using the Black 3 Add-on CABs file. There may be others in it that may be of interest also for some. Included in this file is Cyberon VoiceCommander, Cyberon Voice Dial, VIjay555 utils, and a Slingbox patch (none of these I've tested) and Adobe Reader LE.
Turning off Word Auto Completion
Some people do not like how Windows Mobile tries to suggest words that you may be typing. If you are one of those people, jacob-mda wrote up a post on how to turn it off. Check out This Thread.
Auto Completion for Spanish
User peu found the file to change the auto completion of words to Spanish. You can check his post here for details and a link.
New DialPad to match the CommManager
The EquinoXe was successful at pulling out the dial pad from the HTC Touch and it matches up with the CommManager in XM6 very nicely (see pic attached below). I've attached the CAB to this thread, so if you'd like to use this dialpad, just download and install. Cool! WARNING: If you install this, you can't just uninstall it. It requires a HARD RESET or you have to reflash this rom to go back to the original dialpad that was included in WM6r2! Some love this DialPad and the features of it, and others don't like it.
You can find skins for this dialpad HERE.
If you prefer the standard dialpad, you can find skins for it HERE.
BatteryStatus (for Overclocking, CPUScalar, and much much more)
BatteryStatus is a very popular utility around here and for good reasons. Currently its in a beta phase and the author is releasing new versions of the beta constantly so I decided not to put it in the rom and let people install whatever build of it they want. Also, some versions of BatteryStatus have been known to cause excessive battery drain, so be aware of that too. You can find it in the Official BatteryStatus thread and if you do use it, feel free to give feedback on it in that thread as they are always looking for ways to improve it.
NOTE: If you do use overclocking, I recommend you use the OMAP Apps tab to setup Camera to be at 195Mhz as it can mess up the display if you are overclocked and doing the camera.

Info on Included Apps
PocketCM 0.9
This is a "finger friendly" (ie: you scroll and select with your finger) app that replaces the standard Contact Manager (although the standard contact manager is still there). To learn more about PocketCM and help with this project, head over to http://www.pocketcm.com (That link is also built into the PIE Favorites right on your phone with this rom ). Quentin is doing some amazing work on this and other cool things (like a nice SIP keyboard input that is similar to an iphone type thumb keyboard). Quentin was nice enough to give me permission to include PocketCM in this rom (per his request, you are not to distribute this app without his permission).
For those that don't want to run PocketCM and want the standard Conctact manager back you can do the following:
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSCONTACTS
Change "String 1" value from "\Windows\PocketCM.exe" to :MSPOUTLOOK contacts.
Then if you want it back, you can change it back to \Windows\PocketCM.exe
SK tsync
Included in this rom is SK tsync, which will synchronize your phone to time servers. I've included in \Windows a special link called tsync silent.lnk . You can copy this link (with TotalCommander or use WinXplore) to your \Windows\Startup folder and it will allow your phone to sync its time after a reboot. Famewolf also wrote a Mortscript for easy install (since Mortscript is part of this rom). I've attached the script to this post. Just place it on your phone and run it, and it will copy this shortcut to your Startup folder for you.
MobileJustice v0.8
MobileJustice is an Anti-theft app that you can configure on your phone. Just go to Start > Programs > Accessories and click on the MJConfig icon (first time in you will get a message that there isn't a config file, just click ok and it will be created). To us this, check the Enabled box, then click Add on the Allowed line. You can then setup your SIM card as an authorized one, and add other SIM cards IMSI numbers if you use more than one. Next click on Add next to Report to: and setup an SMS number (wife, friend, colleague) where you want the text message to go to if an unauthorized SIM is put into your phone. You can add multiple SMS numbers if you want. At this point, your phone will now be setup so that if an unauthorized sim is put in it, then it will send an SMS (with no record of it being sent) to your Report To list on the next boot (you can test this by not setting up (or removing) the Allowed and then doing a soft reset).
For more advanced, you can turn on the Disp MsgBox at the top and then put in some text in the MsgBox text line. This will pop up a Message box on the screen of the phone after a boot, if an unknown sim is in the phone.
You can also enable RMon (bottom half of the screen), put in a pass phrase, and then turn on MsgBox (GPS and LocCall do not work on Wizards, and the other options haven't been implemented in this version). By doing this, you can now send an SMS to your phone in the following format:
+m passphrase message
Rmon will intercept the sms message (so it will not show up as a received message), and if the passphrase matches the one you put in the configuration, then it will pop up a message box on the phone with your message in it (so you can secretly send messages to the thief to possibly intimediate them (or whatever).
The project page for MobileJustice is located at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mjustice/

I would like to thank the following in help (directly and indirectly) with XDA Mobile 6:
Faria for providing the initial ROM Kitchen that got me cooking
anichillus for the fantastic Hyper Core ROM Kitchen which was exclusively used in the production of this ROM
Dr Puttingham for the guides, information he has provided to all of us
Molski for having a nice tutorial on various cooking tools and providing easy access to info at http://www.molski.biz
mattk_r for inspiration and pushing the envelope and for the fantastic set of OEM packages
Famewolf for constantly pointing me to new apps, new versions, and posts about features like BlueTooth DUN to add into the rom. You could almost call this XM6r3FW
Those that took the time to help beta test XM6 Release 3 (Rudi, Pablo, Moby, Jorge, JL, Tommy, Shane, Ben, and a few others I'm sure I left out (sorry)). We worked out a number of issues with a nice long beta test! I think all the beta testers (myself included) are sick of flashing, and I think I caused all of them at least one locked up phone after flashing... You want a cure for Flashing addiction? This beta test sure helped most of us...
Everyone that installed and gave feedback and support on the other XDA Mobile 6 threads
Everyone that I thanked in my other ROM releases!

[24-Dec-2007] XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 RC1 with .NET CF 3.5!

XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 RC1
Christmas has come to the Wizard!
This is a Release Candidate! Click Here to dowload the Final version!
XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 (XM6r5 for short) is the fifth version (and most likely my last since I now have a Tilt/Kaiser phone) of the popular XM6 rom series for the Wizard. This ROM tries to bring the stability of XM6r3 to a rom similar to XM6r4 (which had a few issues).
XM6r5 is built on the OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01 rom that was provided to us by InGeNeTiCs from Howard Forums.
BatteryStatus is NOT included in this ROM.
There is no Radio, IPL, SPL or Extended ROM included in this (so its G4 "safe").

Mods made in XM6r5
In addition to the apps listed above, the following fixes and mods were made to improve the user experience on XM6r5
Changing ringtone now stays changed when you leave the Phone app
Using press and hold on CommManager button toggles vibrate on and off, and phone does NOT stay stuck in vibrate / no ring mode
Press Button 1 for messaging (like normal) or hold it a little longer and HTC Action will come up (via HButton)
WkTask setup to not show Phone and Activesync as running apps in task bar
QuickMenu enabled for nice drop down and cascading start menu
Touch Scroll only is active so use your finger to scroll in most places
Button 4 starts the WkTask Launcher by default. Press and hold Button 4 to start Voice Recorder app
ROM now remembers new words in custom dictionary

When entering a contact in the "To:" field it does not link to the outlook contacts, it instead shows suggested words. You can tap the word "to" and it will go to the contact list no problem.
After the initial flash, some have reported that QuickMenu pops open the start menu when you are supposed to tap the screen to start the phone setup. Just wait a second or two and it will close by itself. Or tap anywhere on the screen and it should close so you can begin the normal setup procedure.
The base rom has a bug / feature where if GPRS is active, unanswered calls may not show up as a missed call and may not give notification of the unanswered call. If this happens, the unanswered call shows up in the history as an answered call with a duration of 1 or 2 seconds.

Splash Screens and Splash Only RUU for G4
For G4 users, Click Here for the RUU with the Splash Screens of this rom (since you don't get them when you use the shell tool). As I understand it, this is completely safe for a G4 as its nothing but splash screens (no OS, IPL, SPL, Extended ROM, etc, just splash and htc logo screens). BatteryStatus (for Overclocking, CPUScalar, and much much more)
BatteryStatus is a very popular utility around here and for good reasons. Also, some versions of BatteryStatus have been known to cause excessive battery drain, so be aware of that too. You can find it in the Official BatteryStatus thread and if you do use it, feel free to give feedback on it in that thread as they are always looking for ways to improve it.

How to change Keyboard for other languages and layouts
This thread has information for changing the keyboard to work for other layouts.
.
Included Apps Info
Info on Included Apps
Keyboard Skins
I've included in the rom an application called Keyboard Skins that allows you to change the onscreen (SIP) keyboard colors. The app is in Start->Programs->System. There are 20 different keyboard skins you can choose from! Just choose from the list, and after the program ends you will need to do a soft reset to see the new skin. Enjoy!
WkTask
WkTask is a Task Manager that has a lot of functionality. Its small, quick, and powerful. You can find out more about it (including a video demo) by going here: http://soft.photoracer.net/docs/wktask_en.html
QuickMenu
Quick menu is enabled by default and gives the Start menu a drop down style. Use the QuickMenu settings (found under the Start Menu) to configure the options. More information can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=340358
Note: QuickMenu has task manager functionality (which is NOT enabled by default). If you don't want / need the features of WkTask, you could disable it, and enable the QuickMenu task manager instead. Do NOT enable QuickMenu's task manager features without disabling WkTask (or other Task Managers you may load) as they can conflict with each other and cause unpredictable results).
Click Here to download this script, then just place it on your phone and run it, and it will copy this shortcut to your Startup folder for you.

How to upgrade to Final without Reflashing
The info here is still beta as the final has not been released yet! But feel free to use the cab in the first post to apply fixes I've found before Final is released. The CAB and this information are subject to change until the Final version is officially released
If you want to upgrade to the Final version without having to Reflash, I'm providing a CAB to do this. The CAB is attached to the first post of this thread. Files installed by this are installed in storage memory and NOT in the ROM (you have to flash to put things in the ROM). You must choose to install this on your device and not on the storage card (It shouldn't ask you but if it does choose device) for this to work.
This cab does the following:
Updates PIM Backup to 2.7
Changes WkTask left and right setting so it doesn't hide VoiceMail (and similar) notification icon
removes the tools folder icon from the Windows folder
Changes the Wait Cursor to be the Touch one
Change Start->Settings->System->About to show XM6r5 instead of XM6r4
Fixes Smartdialing Options in the dialpad menu
Add default registry entries so when (if) BatteryStatus is installed, Phone and Camera are set to 195Mhz
You will need to soft reset after this install completes. You can see the new Wait Cursor when the today screen is first starting to load (or go to the CommManager and press a button like FlightMode or Wifi and you should see the WaitCursor spin).
BTW: Also remember since this is a cab install, you can remove it, and if you do a hard reset you will have to install this again.

Yes, its G4 Safe (I state that in my first post ) and can be flashed on any Wizard device (and ONLY Wizard devices... Well, Prophet too which is basically a Wizard).

Yeah I love major Holidays and tieing a ROM release to them (and I put XM6r2 out on last July 4th I believe, so thats 3 ). Unfortunately, I will be selling my 8125 (will go onto eBay this week) as I need to use the money for a bill. I was supposed to get an 8125 from a co-worker, but that appears now that it isn't going to happen.
To be honest, other than updates to built in software, there have not been major changes from r3 to r4, and now to r5. I don't care for the ported ROMs to the Wizard, so I feel I've went about as far as I could go with the 318 rom for now.
@musungus77 - In the Kaiser forums (and elsewhere) its claimed that on WM6 with .NET 2.0 removed (which I did) and .NET 3.5 installed, there is about a 20% increase in speed of .NET based apps (some claim overall ROM speed is better this way, but I'm not sure about that)
@ykktotal - I'll consider a Lite version, but after this full version has been tested more (remember this is a Release Candidate. There may be another RC or even a slightly different Final version of r5). I'll also look at releasing the Cooking Package kit also (like I did with r4) so people can cook it how they want it.

BTW: In looking at the screen shots for r4, I just realized a "bug" in r5... I forgot to change the reg entry to indicate this is r5 (so it still shows XM6r4) .

[31-Dec-2007] XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 FINAL - Full and Lite versions

XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 FINAL - Full / Lite
Happy New Year!
If you want to use XM6r5 as a base, check out the XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 Cooking Pack!
XDA Mobile 6 Release 5 (XM6r5 for short) is the fifth version (and most likely my last since I now have a Tilt/Kaiser phone) of the popular XM6 rom series for the Wizard. This ROM brings back the stability of XM6r3. There is a Full and Lite version. Also I'm releasing a cooking pack so you can build your own version of XM6r5.
XM6r5 is built on the OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01 rom that was provided to us by InGeNeTiCs from Howard Forums.
If you have a Battery Drain issue, make sure you flash back to an official rom before you upgrade to this one, as that should correct extended rom corruption that has been shown to cause battery draining. If you want to overclock or use other features of BatteryStatus, you can download and install the latest version of BatteryStatus. I used it when I had my Wizard, and had OMAP set to 247MHz with CPUscalar set from 143 to 247 and Boost set to 260Mhz.
Base ROM Information
The base rom was an "Official" Wizard WM6 ROM that was part of the development cycle of WM6 inside of Microsoft (Dogfood as they call it). The base rom was not a port of another device rom with drivers and stuff pieced and parted onto this one, but this was an actual Wizard WM6.
Windows Mobile 6, OS 5.2.318 Build 15342.4.0.01
ROM Version: 10.1.0.811 WWE
ROM Date: 08/11/06
Protocol: 4.1.13.09
PagePool: 6MB
There is no Radio, IPL, SPL or Extended ROM included in this (so its G4 "safe").

REMOVED: Adobe Reader LE
REMOVED: Battery Gauge - WkTask now does this
REMOVED: SuperDoku v1.1 - Install via cab now
Mods made in XM6r5 (Lite and Full versions)
In addition to the apps listed above, the following fixes and mods were made to improve the user experience on XM6r5
Using press and hold on CommManager button toggles vibrate on and off, and phone does NOT stay stuck in vibrate / no ring mode
Press Button 1 for messaging (like normal) or hold it a little longer and HTC Action will come up (via HButton)
WkTask setup to not show Phone and Activesync as running apps in task bar
QuickMenu enabled for nice drop down and cascading start menu
Touch Scroll only is active so use your finger to scroll in most places
Button 4 starts the WkTask Launcher by default. Press and hold Button 4 to start Voice Recorder app
ROM now remembers new words in custom dictionary
Fixes found in XM6r5 RC1 have also been implemented in this Final version.

Known Issues
After the initial flash, some have reported that QuickMenu pops open the start menu when you are supposed to tap the screen to start the phone setup. Just wait a second or two and it will close by itself. Or tap anywhere on the screen and it should close so you can begin the normal setup procedure.
The base rom has a bug / feature where if GPRS is active, unanswered calls may not show up as a missed call and may not give notification of the unanswered call. If this happens, the unanswered call shows up in the history as an answered call with a duration of 1 or 2 seconds.
I inadvertently reintroduced the problem where when you go into the Settings->Phone that if you don't change your ringtone that the ringtone will revert to the default one. Also this causes switching the phone to Vibrate with the comm button to sometimes stick and stay on Vibrate even though the phone shows the ringtone should be on. Famewolf posted a mortscript for the fix in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=117. If you want to do it by hand, then just open the registry editor and navigate to HKLM\Security\System then remove the entire FDRM key.

How to Upgrade from RC1 to Final without reflashing
How To Upgrade to XM6r5 from XM6r5 RC1 without Flashing
If you are running XM6r5 RC1 and want to upgrade to the Final version without having to Reflash, I'm providing a CAB to do this. You will find the CAB attached to this post. Files installed by this are installed in storage memory and NOT in the ROM (you have to flash to put things in the ROM), so if you hard reset, you will have to reinstall this CAB.
Make PocketRAR the default app for .zip files
You will need to soft reset after this install completes.
A Couple of Apps left out of XM6r5
Attached to this post are some cabs for apps that were left out of XM6r5 Final.
SuperDoku is a Sudoku game that I enjoy and I know others liked to play also.
TodayAgenda is a Today plugin to show your Tasks and Appotinments. Unfortunately in r4 and beta versions of r5, there was a bug when this was built into the rom so I opted to leave it out. You can just install the cab and you'll have TodayAgenda back and the options bug will not happen this way.
Marshall's Touch Wait Cursor was left out due to a space limitation. This changes the default WaitCursor (The red/green/yellow spinner) to a wait cursor like on the Touch phone.
Click Here to download this script, then just place it on your phone and run it, and it will copy this shortcut to your Startup folder for you.

Radio ROMs
Here are links to a few of the Radio ROMs that I've used with XM6r4. Remember that Radio's newer than the 2.19 radio may require the WM6 Fix CAB that is attached to the first post of this thread.

Cingular 2.25.11
2.61.11
2.69.11

For T-Mobile US users, here's a link to a thread by Lurch with 3 cabs for the various plans. Famewolf tested the 3rd one and it worked for him.
For T-Mobile US users, here's a link to a post by FZZF that has info for your setup of GPRS and MMS by hand
Here's another link with cab files for T-Mobile US users:

Connecting XM6r5 to the Internet via ActiveSync 4.5 on Windows XP
For those having issues connecting to the internet via Active Sync, cut and paste this code onto your PC in a file called net_over_activesync.reg and run it (on your PC not your phone)
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services]

Splash Screens and Splash Only RUU for G4
For G4 users, Click Here for the RUU with the Splash Screens of this rom (since you don't get them when you use the shell tool). As I understand it, this is completely safe for a G4 as its nothing but splash screens (no OS, IPL, SPL, Extended ROM, etc, just splash and htc logo screens). I've also placed the .bmp files that make up the splash screen in the zip file so you can see them directly before flashing this.
Transcriber can be added back into XM6r4 by using the Black 3 Add-on CABs file. There may be others in it that may be of interest also for some. Included in this file is Cyberon VoiceCommander, Cyberon Voice Dial, VIjay555 utils, and a Slingbox patch (none of these I've tested).
Skinning the Dialpad
You can find skins for this dialpad HERE. See image attached below for an example.
Skinning MortPlayer
MortPlayer is very skinnable. Check out the qVista example attached below. You can find qVista here: http://www.aximsite.com/boards/them...rting-qvga-vga-landscape-portrait-square.html

How to change Keyboard for other languages and layouts

Upgrading and Patching XM6r5
XM6r5.1 Patch (6-Jan-2007)
NOTE: To install this patch, you will need to turn off Smartskey first (or you will get an error about not enough permission to install this). To do this, go to Start -> Settings -> Smartskey . This should then ask you if you want to stop it from running, answer yes. Then you can install the CAB.
This patch does the following:
Change Settings -> System -> About screen to read XM6r5.1
Upgrade dotFred's TaskMgr to 2.9 and set it to not minimize to the systray by default
Downgrade Smartskey to .56 to fix some issues with volume control
Installs Camera Patches to reduce speckle and improve camera performance
Install Battery Saving fixes to help improve battery life on the device

Woo Hoo! Thanx Again
Downloading now...
downloading now. thanks. i'll let you know what happends. new years present came in early
I can't wait, flashing carrier rom as we speak. Then onto the new R5 I have been waiting for. Thanks for all your hard work. Will miss seeing new roms from you, but am happy with what you have given to the community.
Jeff
thanks again mfrazzz. Works like a champ
I already tried RC1, so I expected this to be fine.
works like a charm. thanks
It works great except that when I installed Voicecommand 1.6, I can't get it to work over a bluetooth headset. I tested this with two different headsets that worked for me under XM6r4, but now all I hear is the headset conencting and no Voicecommand prompt no matter how long I hold down the button (or if I try to press it more than once). I also looked at the registry settings based on what I know from searches and past experience with bluetooth and Voicecommand, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
EDIT: It looks like the problem was simpler than I thought. I tried uninstalling and re-installing Voicecommand a couple of times and on the last try, both bluetooth headsets now work fine with Voicecommand. There was no need for any registry edit after my last re-install.

I definetly tested out Voice Command (as thats what I use) and knew it worked for me. One thing to remember with Voice Command is after you install it, you have to do a soft reset. If you don't it will act weird and I believe connecting with BlueTooth properly is one of the issues I've seen.
Anyway, glad its working for you! Happy New Year!
thank you for your work
Mfrazzz, great work on this last rom. I really hope you stay with keeping your Wizard. Your work is the best. Happy New Year to ya
How to turn off the sound during the call??? in the R4 version the volume down button was dealing with this function.
From South America, thanks so much! for your hard work!! You make happy many people!

MMS "Error Synchronizing"
Has anyone ever figured out a reliable fix for the MMS "Error Synchronizing" problem? I've tried Manual settings, updateing ArcSoft, various cabs for the settings and I'm really starting to get frustrated here. I just flashed the new ROM, I almost didn't because of the nightmare I had getting MMS working again last time. I'm beginning to wish I hadn't.
for some reason does not let you use htc home plugin even installing .NET 2 wich is a req. for home plugin

If you use this ROM you accept responsibility anything that may happen to your device. Don’t come crying to me if you didn’t take the time to read about how to flash or unlock your phone. Please read through those posts before attempting to flash this or any ROM to your phone.
Also I will ignore all posts about why do you have this or can you put this into the rom. There are some great kitchens out there. I am not Burger King, so you get it my way, not yours.
I first want to thank my FC Prez, akashastrega, for pulling me out of retirement for this release. I have a feeling its been in the making now for 3 months. I have tested it and I know it works.

Great Job NTS, Fast for sure. One small item. You have the older "Windows Live" still on, no big deal, I just updated it. You really outdone yourself with the cingular NTS settings cab. After I install that, I have a 5 bar salute. and that is on any rom that I have flashed.

i have only one problem at now with this rom.
when i try to install a new keybddr.dll for correct my keyboard layout.
all my hard buttons stop to work, my screen stop to turn when the hard keyboard is open, and all the shortcutes on start menu begins with a "&"
hey looks awesome will download now.
One question though what are the "Standard NTS Rom Tweaks"? Meaning what reg tweaks are built in and what have been left out but are still recomended.
Oh and one more thing whats the page memory on this rom??
Anyway still want to thank Nottoosmart for all his hard work in releasing this rom.

But other than that I love everything ESPECIALLY tetris. Thats like the best part
Hi,
Does it have this problem?
The base rom has a bug / feature where if GPRS is active, unanswered calls may not show up as a missed call and may not give notification of the unanswered call. If this happens, the unanswered call shows up in the history as an answered call with a duration of 1 or 2 seconds.
This is making me nuts, i cannot afford to miss call notifications
The only roms without this problems are TNT based so far...

In short, no. The camera hardware is still 1.3MP.
3.0 refers to the version of the Camera software.

Ok, WHAT???? I have no idea about this. This is the first time ive heard of anyone having to load a DLL to correct Keyboard layout. Have you check to see what the code is for reg to make it have your correct layout. I know for US its 0409. Check to see if Brazil has one. It might be easier and may not have the aweful effect you are having with the ROM

You need to make sure your Carrier settings are setup correctly. You would be the first that would not be able to do that on a rom I have released.
As for tetris, I miss the music, but the game is fun.

Thnx man your the best. I am flashing now to try it out.
One question though have you ever used PointUI ? I have downloaded it n tried using it myself and really like the style and simplicity of it. Is there anyway u can cook it into any future releases n kinda somehow make it the only thing shown without all the regular today screen and such. Ofcourse only after they figure out how to get the hardware buttons working though. But still its something I hope u keep in mind for future ideas
Thanks again
Another download link or mirror apart from rapidshare wud be highly helpful and appreciated.Cud plz someone upload to any other site for download.
Thanks

[13 Apr 08] Mobile Vista 1.3 (cooked 3.14 ROM 19209) - 24 versions! [UNSUPPORTED]

After quite a while in development, Mobile Vista 1.3 is finally ready to see the light of day.
This ROM is the result of the hard work of lots of people: Poorlyduck, Mfrazzz, McMexican, Ghostie, Ionutz, Laurentius, Sleuth, Milesmowbray, and probably some others whom I've forgotten to mention.
What's the ROM all about then?
I prefer a ROM that is ready to use straight from a flash/Hard Reset. Although light ROMs will be quicker, I'm too lazy to spend an hour re-installing and setting up my programs. This ROM contains everything I use built in.
Why the name "Mobile Vista"?
This is the newest OS available from Microsoft at the moment, it still needs development to be fully finished, but I absolutely love it while others moan about it. Am I talking about WM6.1 or Vista?
What's in the ROM?
Glad you asked! It's built on the AT&T build 19209 (3.14) and is UC 2.0 compliant
It's only compatible with Radio 1.65.14.06 at the moment and this is included in the ROM
UPDATE - this ROM is also compatible with 1.65.17.10 and 1.65.20.29. As the 17.10 is the "Radio from Hell" that you cannot change from, I wouldn't recommend this one unless you're already stuck on it!

Other Stuff:
Transcriber, Phone Pad and Symbol Pad included
XDA-Developers added as a favourite in IE (in place of Accuweather)
Lots of other tweaks and changes to suit how I want it (seriously - nearly every setting I've found I've played with)
Optional Extras:
* TomTom 6.032 (no maps included - please supply your own)
* Coreplayer v1.2.2 (Build 3852) (you will need to enter your valid serial on first run)
* MS Voice Command (was in the original AT&T build - removed for some ROMs)
* Vista Dialer is PoorlyDuck's Vista theme - this does NOT support Video Calling or
* 3G Dialer is Nadavi's phone with the background changed to fit in with the non-black theme on the rest of the ROM - this DOES support Video Calling
Where can I download them?
Firstly decide which dialer you want - the Vista one (without Video Calling) or the 3G one (with Video Calling).
Then decide if you want Coreplayer, TomTom, and/or Voice Command (UK or US accent) included.
Once you've decided, go to http://confusedstu.4shared.com and download the ROM of your choice from the "Mobile Vista 1.3" folder
Bugs
* If you use a version with the US Voice Command, and button 6 is unassigned, or missing completely, please install the VC (US) Button Fix cab below.
* If you're installing a ROM that doesn't include Coreplayer and the Camera won't launch. Please install the Camera fix cab below to sort this out.
* If you install a ROM and you're missing some options from the phone menu, please install the Video Calling Options fix cab below
* If you install a ROM and you're missing the MMS options from the Messaging menu, please install the MMS Options fix cab below.
Next time I re-cook and re-upload the ROMs, I will bake these fixes into those that need them. Sorry for the inconvenience.
* Sometimes, after the Connection Setup wizard resets the phone, BatteryStatus disappears. To get it back, go into the Start > Settings > Today > Items > select BatteryStatus and click Options. OK back out and BatteryStatus will be back and working properly.
* TodayAgenda crashes if you access the Options through Start > Settings > Today > Items > Options. Instead, please tap and hold on TodayAgenda itself and select Options to get in.
FAQ
Q: Does this ROM include a Cube?
A: No, the cube doesn't play well with Transcriber - and I use Transcriber more, hence that's included but a Cube isn't. If you want to install a Cube, there are lots available for download and installing.
Q: Does this ROM include HTC Home (also known as "The Weather and launcher thing on the Home screen")?
A: No, it takes up more space on my Today screen than I'm willing to give up, but is available as a cab around the place for you install.
Q: Are you going to release a "light" version?
A: There are already lots of great light ROMs available - they'd be better than anything I could produce.
Q: How much free memory does it have?
A: Depending on which version you go for - free Storage Memory will be between 118.49Mb to 103.67Mb, and free Program Memory will be between 71.73Mb and 68.85Mb on boot up.
Q: Are the games available separately?
A: Yes, have a look on my 4shared site http://confusedstu.4shared.com and look under "Games"
Q: Are the announcements (for alarm, etc) available separately
A: I made them at http://www.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php - just head over there, put in the text you want, select your voice (I used Audrey UK) and click Play/Download to get your .wav announcement. It even works on the phone for changing when out and about.
Q: Why is the ROM now [UNSUPPORTED]?
A: To be honest, I thought everyone had stopped using this long ago and moved onto the newer ROMs out there, but the occasional question shows me some die-hards are still using it (thanks guys. ). Since making this ROM, I've now moved onto a Touch Pro and sold my Kaiser to finance it. Some Chefs are good enough to be able to support and make ROMs without having a phone to test them on - that's not me! Without a Kaiser to try things out on, I simply cannot answer most questions or problems. Feel free to continue to post up any questions you have and I'll answer it if I know it, or another user might help, but largely what you see is what you get I'm afraid.
Changes on 13th April
* All ROMs updated to UC v2 (finally remembered to do that!)
* Updated ROMs to remove the first 2 bugs listed in post 2, so no need to install the US VC or Camera fix cabs
* Finally got Video Calling working (thank you Ghostie, Laurentius and Dutty!) so can now offer versions with Nadavi's 3G dialer in
Uploading all 20 ROMs took just over 24 hours - I think my ISP must love me!!
WooHoo!, first time ever, ever being first.

Good point - meant to mention that in the first post! It's only compatible with the new ATT radio, and this Radio is included in the ROM (any other Radio produces the expected sound and camera problems).
Thanks Mzahiri, I've now amended the first post slightly to mention that.

Sure, have a look at my 4shared site and look under "Games" for the cab files to be installed on any phone. (I originally got the "Another World" game from the FTP site here a couple of years ago, can't remember which phone's ExtROM it had been extracted from!).
Can you give some guidance on what is what on your download site? It's really a bit confusing, I just want the nice cooked ROM you mentioned...
You may want to compile a list of what's in which file on your site.....
thanks stu, got the file from your site.
much appreciated!
