Hi,
I'm looking for nice and subtle themes for Treo 750v with Windows Mobile 6 of mine. I don't really like flashy themes like celebrities, cars, sports, etc. Just plain old & serious themes, like the ones we get on Windows Mobile 6 default themes.
Anyone have recommendations?
Thanks!
Hi
Try http://www.ganisoft.com/
There is a lot of thos that you don't like but also a lot of "abstract art" and other more standard types of skins or just plane colour skins.

iPhone 40x40 icons
Try: http://www.iphonethemeforpocketpc.com/login.php I think it’s the best I have found and the one I am using on my Palm 750v.
I have a great iPhone theme but would like to add some 40x40 TGA icons. I have found load of larger icons and have Paint Shop Pro 9 that can save tga files.
I have tried to save reduced sized colours and transparent background icons as tga but when I place on a theme Dock I can see the corner backgrounds that I can’t see on an original tga icon.
Could someone point me in the right direction and tell me what mistake I am making please.
Iphone
I have downloaded the iPhone them from iphonethemeppc and I am having problems on my touch pro especially with regard to the weather any body else got it working ?
Hello, since I get bored of Manilla 2.1/2.5 and I really want to USE my phone I have installed iPhoneToday - it's fast & really functional.
I have 2 questions:
1. Because it is not supported anymore, is there an alternative (not Winterface or iLauncher), which can be configured with own icons etc.?
2. Does anyone know if it's possible to iclude a weather-app (like the phone icons) shows temperature and weather?
Regards,
S-Line

You may like SPB Mobile Shell, its a little heavier than iLauncher but lighter than manila.
Thanks, I have tested most apps, also SPB MS, but it's a bit too overloaded, also I didn't find a nice skin (hate the original one).
But can I use png-files as icons in MS (like the iPhone-like icons released here)?

There are some icon packages floating around and you should be able to use PNG files.
Have you tried Ultimate Launcher?
You can assign icons through the UI.
back in the day there was a UI called Throttle Launcher they may work for you. I haven't seen it in a while though.... It had lots of skins and options to customize
Hi all,

read through that thread and install.. its fairly simple using that and it gives you that many more options for icons, widgets, boxes etc.
But using that you can change the background for each and every individual page of SPB so check it out.
Moved as not theme release.
The " king " of MS 3,5 themes resides right here mskip. If Mark can't make your Mobile Shell dazzle then you have no taste

I've checked out the Buuf theme for iPhone lately and I find it very catchy. I'm sorry because I'm not an iPhone fan and I've only come to know of such theme lately. Can anyone here try to make a complete skin out of Buuf icons and buttons? As if overhauling the Sense UI and replacing all the buttons (ie Sense audio buttons, video buttons, camera etc), sliders (main slider, audio slider, messaging slider etc), clock even miscellaneous tabs (ie settings and everthing within). So... what do you think? *sorry... for being kinda nervous. This is my first request post in Themes and Apps for HD2*
I haven´t seen the Buuf theme for WinMo, but for Android...
However, did you check this great theme here? Not that it is the same, but it somehow seems to have that kind of "design"...

Yeah... I've checked it out. I love these cartoon-ish themes like Buuf and Fallout by StarView. I wish there are more like Super Mario, Zelda and stuff like that. Can anyone tell me which software you need to create a theme for Sense UI? Because I really want to learn to create a theme and pack it into a CAB and share it with everyone.

You can actually make your theme with any graphics software which can save in png format (mainly because of the transparency capability).
Once you´ve done your creative work, you can convert your pictures with m9editor, or CFC GUI, and then use cab maker software to create the installer (there are some free apps).
To make things easier for a start, to learn about manila file namings, resolutions etc., I suggest you take any cab of any theme you like, unpack it (with a program like MSCEInf - CAB Analyzer) and see through all the files with CFC GUI - with all this data, you can jump quickly into theme making.
PPC Geeks have the icons
Popdog54 posted all of Paul Davey's art on PPC Geeks (see link).
All of icons are there. I downloaded them and put them on my HTC HD2 storage card and then used an icon changer to change most of the icons.

the Buuf theme is indeed very catchy and would look really good on HD2.
ajt320 has already posted the link to the icons.
I also found Buuf-esque slider icons, made by 12aon. Check the post 5.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437405
The slider icons were made for TF3D, so they should be modified to use in Sense 2.5
and there is also Way Out There Transparent Slider here http://ppcmods.com/sliders.html
the style is quite similar to Buuf's
Cheers
I'm looking for a analog clock for windows mobile 6.1 that can be made (semi) transparent. Also I'd like to keep my today picture...
I've tried SPB Time and many other, but unfortunately they change the skin as well.
I just want to put a transparent analog clock in the middle so I can see my theme picture as well.
Thanks in advance
update: I've found this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=674084
I'm looking for something similar to this with the ability of editing the clock, mainly: positioning, changing its transparency.
I've an ASUS P552w with windows mobile 6.1
