nothing like secret codes on windows based phones....its a lame gimmick for the lesser mortals running on sad phones such as nokias, nokias and nokias....
In windows mobile, its hidden registry codes, hacks and customization....not *#1045# to draw an ascii art based flower on your screen
Sorry for being extreme here
Thx For Ur Support

O'rly? Then how do you explain the plethora of WM6.1 and WM6.5 Professional Roms in the Tornado section?
Oh and lol, "No way" are two words.
Well, it certainly is possible, but I don't see the point. And if you want, go ahead and port it to the Vox.

Thank you for the Official WM6.5 Rom mate, I love it!
the advantages of a PPC, the more applications
then it is possible? and no one one tries?
It is as possible as pointless...all the applications that would allow with this workaround are created to work with the direct input of the touchscreen...having NOT it would mean that even if it installed well the app would be unusable, unless you use a virtual pointer...which is NOT an usable solution aswell( for daily use).
This explained in plain words
SO why waste time (even days) of life to get working decently a thing that even if it runs well will be totally useless?!?!
Best Regards and Merry Christmas
Hi,
I am looking for wm6.1 application that allow me the write all the blesses from our Lord Jesus. GiveThanks everytime.
Hopefully it's a freeware
I'm using ipaq 612c running Manilla2D.
Thank you and GBU.
Hi,
As far as I know, there aren't any programs out there doing that.
But what kind of app do you think of? If you describe it a bit better I may be able to help you.
God Bless, may the word of Jesus be spread everywhere around the world!
EC
You want to write them? Use Word Mobile.

Hi ElCondor,
The application is pretty much simple (i think).
Give Thanks is both an active and passive conditions.
*Conditions:
Passive (IN): when we received something from someone
Active (OUT): we gave something to someone (gift, encouragement, etc)
*Situations:
Happy, Sad, Angry, etc (possitive or negative)
Ex:
1. When i was sad, my friend came and encouraged me -> I choosed "IN"
and "Sad/Negative" + adding some note ("Gracia supported me when i am down")
2. When i was happy, i bought a cup of coffee to my friend -> i choosed "OUT" and "Happy/Possitive" + add some note
3. Even when we are alone we still can say thanks for our Health.
*Report/Summary:
Graph/percentage/total of IN and OUT when "+" or "-" situations.
Hopefully it will gave us the encouragement to give more to others (as we are a light and candle)
That's it. I really hope it can be done in wm6.
Thanks ElCondor for interesting in this topic.
May the love of our Lord Jesus lives forever in you and your love one. God bless you.
<Sorry for my english>

Hi hungry81,
I believe that love is not related to karma or things like that.
It base on our passion to be an active and a better person.
hm I don't know whether that's possible, but I have never seen an app like that.
I think it's also not fully my way of being christian, but that's your call.
Cheers,
EC

Hi psolunke,
can you tell me the name of the apps running in s60? thanks
Ehrm, okey.
I was thinking about creating a decibelmeter-application for windows mobile and have made it half-way so far. Am having some difficulties with programmatically computing the correct output in decibel, ie converting the data gathered to a decibel-number.
I know it has been made before (see post here) but apparently heliosdev gave up or just stopped working on it.
Does anyone have a clue? I know that it will be "quite" in-accurate, but it will still be fit for my needs and give a rough estimate.
Good idea but I don't think that she mics of a PPC are able to give really well-founded absolute results in measurement. Maybe relative values but, well...
Nope, I know, but I think its still able to produce a rough estimate. If I only knew how
If it anybody 2 code, I could deliver the graphics in addition...
Pocket RTA pro - does this, thats if you dont wanna continue programming!
it has an FFT function aswell
I know Pocket RTA but I wanna code something for myself
Im learning and only need a bit of help with a few things. Besides, I just want the decibelmeter, nothing more.
Giving up on this one, too inaccurate and too much development. Asking mods to close the thread.
LOL - that was fast!
Here's an older freeware sound meter I use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=37750&d=1177363417 Works OK for a ballpark dB figure

Hehehe, yea, I know, but I kinda realized that its of no use. The measurement will be too inaccurate (basically because of the microphone) and it will take quite alot of horsepower to calculate the dB in realtime I'm afraid. At least if doing it the way I had in mind...

Would it be possible to allow icons to be placed anywhere on the screen without having to align to the grid? That would be nice...

Unbelievably, incredibly, freakin' genius trickery... grrreeeaaatttt one man! (If I said this instead of typed it, the sarcasm would be extremely blatant.)
Furthermore, it would have taken you less time to simply tell me what it was than trying to be a jackass... But what should I expect from a guy advertising the cover art from a 10+ year old cd from a "never quite made it" rap group???
Maemo is nokia's OS for their N900.

Ha ha... I like the cleverly placed "her".... So subtle yet insulting at the same time. Once again I Clown *****, you exceed expectations. A glimpse of intelligence maybe...? No, just another seizure...
I guess people DO download the menstruation app.
Never realized someones intelligence was based on their ability to listen to music that gained mainstream popularity.
All these years of looking for truely good underground artists and non-conventional genres of music.... **gasp** wasted... oh woe is me.... Beelzebub... Nosferatu... what vile beast has summoned thee upon me.... NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Oh sure, seeking "underground" music is a worthwhile effort. I never said that it wasn't. Neutral Milk Hotel for instance offers a very intelligent sound for never having made it into the limelight... but ICP??? C'mon, even you must agree...
And where do I find the "menstuation" app??? I have never heard the term before. Is it next to the spelling app per chance?
Wow... I really must not have anything better to do...

I definitely agree with Neutral Milk Hotel, but in regards to other music (just like various lifestyles lol) to each his own.
+1 for ICP and placing Widgets anywhere. I love all this witty thread banter. Have to watch your xda thread Rep and not lose all that "street cred"
The Samsung Behold II on T-mobile allows you to place shortcuts, etc., on the homescreen and there's no snap-to-grid. You can put them wherever... so I'm sure it can be done.
You know, it's funny. I really don't even listen to ICP anymore. Started listening to them about 13 years ago and made screennames which reflected the group/album/song. Now, I still use the names for consistency more than anything else. Just funny, the assumptions that get made.

Look dude... If you listen to ICP, fine. Its not my business and it does not matter if I like them or not. Looking back, I was being a bit of a **** and I apologize.
My main point on this whole thread was to bring to light an idea that I felt would be beneficial... not start a flame war...

To make this a useful post, I do think it would be awesome to have a feature like this on out phones. I do not know if hardware wise it would be supported since it has not been done on any other android phone.
Thought this was interesting. Apparently the US Army is developing their own Android apps to help coordinate frontline efforts.

Is that smart?!
Usualy that devices have GPS which can give somebody exactly location of soldier...
In android they can write custom safe o/s
Unlike iphone, android is opensource so the military can review all the code and close all security holes, great choice.

Almost every device in the military utilizes gps, but it is on closed, secure networks.
Android is the big thing! I tell you.
Stuff like iOS will never have so much success. People just buy those Apple crap because they think they are cool with that...
i think if every one is smart, we won't have wars...
those resources should be better spend in production/plantation...
but heck, i'm just a ordinary person, i wouldn't have understand that very well..
cool, are they coming up with there own hardware that is battle ready and field tested?
