please, do you know how to install new/other language to the xT9?
I heat enlish prediction when I use example czech language ... I must disable xT9, but this is not ideal

Does the 750v give us the option to select the desired language at start-up or after a hard reset like in the Palm OS vesions? I ask this because it is very hard to find it in English here in Switzerland. I asked a Swiss internet retailer and this is the reply I got;
"No, we have only the German Treo 750V, which is multilingual (including English). "
WM5.0 OS doesn't support multiple laguages on the PPC. WM5.0 on Smartphone do however.
It is possible to the the language of the ROM but it's quite an time taking process
I don't know German 750v, but I think OS resource is English.
If so, this may work for you if you want to change German to English.

I wrote to Palm and they confirmed that I should purchase an English version since it is not possible to select the OS language on a Treo 750v.

you say it is possible to update the language on the 750v. I just bought an Italian version which gives me the choice of Italian or Italian (Swiss)
I would dearly love to run everything in English. How would i go about upgrading/changing my 750v to English??

My advice: Use a WWE ROM. I don't know if it's available for the Treo though

You should download the Cingular ROM that is floating around here! It's in English and works perfectly. I had an Italian Treo too and now it's in English, although I'd prefer a German update. But maybe this comes in the future.
I have a french rom, I would like to change it to english.
If I install the Cingular english rom that is floating what will happen to my keyboard. I have a french keyboard will it be affected? i.e when I press a will I have a or w?

ia have a problem. i want to chenge the inputlanguage in the smart1 crowbow image from english to germen especially the t9 spellcheck database.

but the language is still in english !

Just install an external keyboard such InterKey or Resco Keyboard, they support many languages, also German.
put thes keyboards does nit change the spellcheck files.
i want to use the in put "Phone Pad" but Phonepad uses the system spellcheck files

thanks meybe this project will help when he finished his rom but i don´t nettd a complete german language i espescially need the germen autocomplete the rest doesn´t matter

I know, but when I was going anyway, I just created the whole list. ;-)
Still (or because of it) great job. I know it's kinda annoying to make cabs and especially if you have to change the ini for each language!
Next is full translation, but I am waiting for the muis from a German Emulator Image! (that's you Microsoft - make one!!!)

I havent tried, but the danish one works on 6.1, so I guess that the frensh work aswell...
Let me know if it works.

my russian MIDlets is not start properly. i think it is diferent language...
sorry but I Dont... But if you can provide a link to the original russian installation file I hopefully can extract the language files.

What happens when you install it? - Wrong keyboard layout? Or does the whole et9 not work?
The french cas for wm6.1 is include in the topic of wm6.1

The keyboard layout is ok.

This gives you menus, buttons, etc. in the installed language. It also gives you a new keyboard with the chosen language, but no localized Touch keyboard/keypad and no xt9.

Thanks for the try, but it doesn't leastways for me. I did everything what you suggested, but it does the same. You can choose from 5 languages XT9 which are the English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. Unfortunatelly no Hungarian....

Works on Kaiser?!
I installed this program on Kaiser (Bulgarian interface) and it works...but some of translations doesn't show up, for example- "Hyde Keypad" and some others.
This program is Sunnysoft InterWrite pro 9.5, whrite?
I looked for it in sunnysoft web site, but there is no system localyzation in their program with same name!
Do you have any idea if thre is such a program for Kaise?
There is a problem with cprog.exe from WM 6.1 Official ROM.
Is it possible to install only the localisation, without the program and the keyboards.

6.1-re ezt kell megpróbálni. Én ezt használom, nem tökéletes, de jó.
From 6.1 to try it. I do use it, not perfect, but good.

The purpose of certified is to fix some ISSUE , such as : the program does not falid
while the ULC is the files characteristic needed to work in adjusting the location
I have the rom 6.1 pro RC7 on my tornado. The is the xt9 for english end russian. I want the italian xt9, I used this cab http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=390709. The italian is present on list of xt9 but if but if i seleted it the language stay english defoult.
There is somebody that help me....
