When I open Word Mobile, all I get is a blank page with a white bar at the bottom and the only option is "Cancel". Anyone know what this means or why it's doing it?
Anyone have an idea?

Does anyone know a reg hack to remove the "Today" menu item from the top of the Start Menu? Since the green Send button takes you to the Today screen this option is rather useless. I searched the reg and came up empty.
i would like to know this too.
+1
I'd love to have that space for another application as well.
Bueller?
I've come across this odd bug (dont know the exact steps to get there) where the start button would disappear and only the name of the active task is shown aligned to the absolute left (in place of the start button). Sometimes it happens after i hang up a call and go back to my previously selected task. And it switches back to working normally by itself too. It always fixes itself after the password screen. Not sure what to make of it? Anyone had the same problem?
Another bug is sometimes when I click on the 'phone signal' icon on top or the 'G' it shows an empty bubble (not showing the text or settings button). I think this may be due to using sktools to free up ram?
Btw, I'm not using quickmenu or wktask. Only using batterystatus which places the task manager arrow in the top bar.
seems like broken shadow copy of shellres mui...but it is just similar to my experiences, not really related...maybe.
Sorry if this has been covered before - I coudnt find anything on here.
On some devices/setups with mobile Word 6.1, if your text is long enough to show the scroll bars you wont be able to select any text for working with.
The solution is to hold the stylus on the area needing selection until the circular dots start to display and then drag across the text. You have to be quick else the popup menu will display.
This workaround works OK on my TD2.
I can't figure this out, double clicking just zooms in Menu + E doesn't work, it just starts typing in the address bar.
How do you do it?
Thanks!
EDIT: Please delete, tablet needed a reboot. Weird, huh?
I too want to know
in opera mobile it is just a long click on text with left touchpadbar (is that correct english? i mean that bar below the touchpad)
It is a long click to select text but for some reason my tablet was not responding to that, rebooted and it worked!
I just installed ICS for my T-Mobile Galaxy S2 (USA) via Samsung Kies. Everything works fine except for one problem. Every single time I pull up a text box to search something, write a text, email, note, etc. an icon appears on the top left of my notification bar displaying a keyboard.
When I pull down the Notification Bar, the keyboard symbol is under the "ongoing" section and says "Select Input Method" and then underneath it in smaller letters it says the name of the keyboard selected.
If I click on the message, it takes me to the normal "select input method" where it shows all keyboard options.
How can I get rid of this icon. It is so so annoying, every time I type anything it pops up on the top left of my screen. I tried to uninstall keyboards, repush the firmware in kies (Tools>firmware upgrade initialization), do a complete factory reset and not backing up anything and losing all info. It still shows that bar. I asked on the T-Mobile Facebook page where they announced the ICS update if anybody else had this problem but it's just me apparently.
Someone PLEASE HELP!!!
Are you using more than one keyboard? I do and since then I can never get rid of that icon either. If I deactivate Swiftkey the icon disappears but I can't deactivate the standard keyboard.
The sign appears no matter what. Even if I uninstall all the extra keyboards, the phone still comes with "Swype" and "Samsung Keyboard" both of which can't be uninstalled
