First, some questions:
Are you sure you're downloading themes for Smartphone or Windows Mobile Standard?
How are these files packaged when you download them?
Unless it is a an xml file with some pics, you don't have to place it in the APPLICATION DATA / HOME folder to install.
What version of Windows Mobile are you using?

There's a program out there that allows you to "shrink" the contents of your today screen and I can't remember what its called right now..
maybe someone else can enlighten us.
I know what you are complaining about. The today screen often fluctuates in length primarily due to Calendar, Tasks, and Email changes. I find it hard to have a nice background image because of this. But I think the market is shifting away from the Windows Today screen into a more finger and eyes friendly interface (examples for that are PointUI, SPB MS2.0, etc.).
I personally think that if your scrollbar is appearing then there is a reason for it. I think you may have too much clutter and you should clean up and fix the problem instead of removing the "warning sign". Or use one of those friendly new GUIs that are increasing in popularity. My choice has been SPB Mobile Shell 2.0.

Si, has de probar donde tienes el deco de la plataforma y asegurarte que no es un cable directo desde la antena hasta el deco, de ser así has de propagar la señal de satélite al resto de tomas de la vivienda. El Engel si no voy mal tiene entrada y salida de antena para poder tener dos decos con una antena pero la alimentación de lnb solo tiene que estar en marcha en el que se conecta directamente a la antena. Molesta lo que quieras que para eso está el foro.

I have a version I can install, but when I want to start it (ofiice mobile 6.1)
I get an error message saying that my mobile cannot find pword, ppt or pxl.

i did find a small workaround that gives me office functionality and mobile notes. the last is very handy because it gives you an application to make short notes. i used to send myself an sms
first install office mobile 2007 (6.1)
then install mobile 6 over 6.1
you cannot open the empty templates for 2007 anymore, but you will still have notes.
i would still like to use office mobile 2007 so if anyone knows what i need to install so i do not get an error anymore when opening pword,pxl or ppt then let us know.

Yo he logrado instalar office mobile 6.1 en telefono sda t-mobile tornado, pero esta version solo me permite leer los archivos y no editar
Debe haber alguna actualizacion para esto si alquien sabe por favor coloquela en el foro.

Saludos amigo, te cuento que yo no tenia ningun problema, yo le instale windows mobile , office mobile, adobe reader, y hasta una webcam a mi celular estaba de lujo, hasta que me lo robaron Que coraje!!!
Solo estaba subiendo el archivo que utlice para instalar el office mobile, ya algunos amigos no podian instalarlo, claro aunque mi office mobile solo podias leer y no editar achivos.
Pero bueno me dejaste con la intriga yo baje ese archivo, pero no pude instalarlo por que me salio un error me parece que decia que que no encuentra una version anterior o algo asi, le intente instalar en ingles como en español, y bueno en español fue peor por que ay ya me salio un error en que deben tener el mismo idioma tanto el windows mobile como el office mobile

Hi all, i have the same problem too, when i install the office, when i try to open Word, Excel o Power Point, apperar the error that said coul'd not find XXXX of any of the components (XXXX are pword, ppt o pxls respectively) and i solve the problem with the instructions mentioned in this post, download 6.1 version from Microsoft (or Nitrogen post) and run installer, this solve the problem.

Hola a todos, yo tuve el mismo problema cuando instalé el office, cuando abría word, excel o power point el sistema me lanzaba el mensaje que mencionan, pero lo solucioné bajando el archivo de Microsoft que también está en la lista del link del POST de Nigrogen's, al intalarlo queda funcionando adecuadamente. Si se instala el .exe o .msi sin tener office en el smartphone, sale un error que dice que no hay ningún office instalado, yo ya logrué extraer el .cab que pasa el instalador al teléfono y en este link está disponible http://rapidshare.com/files/134330496/Microsoft_Office_Mobile.CAB, igualmente, en mi página hay manuales en Español de instalación, actualización de ROM, instalación de programas y otras cosas, por si alguienen está interesado. En esta página está el instalador del office http://luisjoseb.googlepages.com/wm61custom, en el punto 7.
Esto lo puse en español adicionalmente por que veo que hay cosas en español y mi página está sólo en español y alguien que lo haga en inglés no le interesa mucho, pero por favor traten de poner en este foro la documentación en el idioma nativo (inglés) y si no les queda fácil, traten de explicarlo con ayuda de un traductor y abajo ponene el texto en español.
Es importante aclarar que con el archivo que les pongo, no es posible abrir documentos nuevos, pero yo en el office de mi PC creé archivos en blanco de word excel y power point (no plantilla sino archivos normales .doc, .xls y .ppt) y cuando necesito crear algo nuevo lo abro y comienzo a editar y cuando le doy guardar le cambio el nombre.

Hola, yo tengo problemas serios con mi treo750, estuve buscando en la red algun sistema linux para la pda, ya que anteriormente hice experimentos con una Tx y me fue de maravilla, Opie es un proyecto de codigo abierto el cual es un suite de aplicaciones y un ambiente de escritorio, pero no es un sistema completo segun entiendo, ya lo estoy descargando para probarlo y les cuento.

Hola, antes que nada, soy nuevo en el foro, soy de España y mi ingles no es muy bueno, utilizo el traductor de Google, lo siento si este tema no va aquí, pero es que ya estoy desesperado. Mi Nexus 5 no se enciende, se apagó de repente, y al pensar que sería que se habia agotado la bateria, lo puse a cargar, y en vez de salir el icono de la bateria, salia el logo de Google unos 3 segundos y se apagaba, y asi sucesivamente, entraba en un bucle. No me deja entrar en modo recovery ni se enciende ni nada. He leido por ahi, que es problema de un boton interno. Espero que me ayudeis.
PD/ Lleve el movil a una tienda no oficial para ver si me lo podian arreglar y no me ayudaron, asi que perdi la garantia de Google. Ojala me ayudeis. Y si este no es el sitio de este tema, o ya hay una solucion espero que me ayudeis, ya que como he dicho no entiendo mucho el ingles. Os dejo los textos en español y en ingles. MUCHAS GRACIAS.

If its a stuck power button there isn't much you can do except send it to LG for repairs.
Google should be able to tell how old it is by the serial number, esp if bought from them. I'd take it to bits and look my self. Could be something simple like the ceramic outer switch is not aligned with the internal switch.

Tengo el problema con la tablet que menciono en uno de mis hilos..
No logro que la pantalla encienda con ningun firmware, no creo que la pantalla este mala ya que dejo de funcionar solo cuando cambie el firmware por otro, antes de eso funcionaba perfecta.
Quien pudiera darme una recomendación o formas de probar la pantalla a ver como la revivo.?
