Hi,
I have also e-mailed to those guys (gpsmidland) requesting for a screen and they told me that they don't send parts to customers. They only do repairs and that I have to send my phone to them! Did they actually sell a screen to you ?

I thought I needed one after coming up with the dreaded white screen following a failed ROM flash.
Seems all is not lost as a company in London appear to have got it back up and working (or so they tell me)
I expect to have it back within a day or two

Hi. We have one motherboard for you which is perfect. Presently with Original O/S Windows Mobile 5.0. I have purchased from HTC 2 months ago for my trinity but then my UMTS Provider has supplied me with a new PDA so I do not need it.

htc tornado / qtek 8310 parts

i'm in search of htc tornado / qtek 8310 display
its broken because a lot of pixels are dead
i thought it was 240*320 or something like that
my dad already contacted the maker of the mobile but a new display is much more expensive

i have a spare tornado, doesnt charge but eveything works...u need to change the battery once its depleted, put it in another tornado and charge it.

u can buy it from ebay it's tooo cheap there got one from there last month.. look for it at ebay.com sumwhr around US$ 27-28

yup tornado parts like keypads and lcds are cheap on ebay

interesting that they all are back ordered until the end of June.

I think the Expansys and the "Original" from HTC are the same....and on the HTC Homepage they say "......expect shipment in 15 working days....." .....so its correct that they are back ordered until the end of June.............

Where can I buy a genuine OEM HTC Desire battery?

I scoured the internet and no one sells them. Same story for the Nexus One. All thats available are aftermarket clones, which are proved to be inferior by battery boss.
Where can I buy one these rare gems?

That is not a genuine OEM HTC Desire battery. Its a copy.
Also, I don't want to order from the EU. VAT and shipping adds up.

That's the HTC Accessory store for Europe (a partnership with Expansys), i'm finding hard to believe they don't sell original batteries...
I don't know if they have a similar store for the us.

But it is produced by HTC (it is HTC shop - at the bottom is © Copyright 2008 HTC.) - it means that it is this same battery like original - they don't produce two types of batteries.

Yes, you are right, the store appears to be legit and the battery is most likely OEM. I went ahead and bought one from expansys-usa.
Just a side note: If Google sold this exact same battery for $25 at a profit, then HTC/Expansys margins must be very healthy. In mass retail anything above 20% is considered a blowout.
