Extended Kitchen for Elf/Elfin
Elfin base: New Elfin 2.xx
OS base: VF Kaiser UK 3.08.161.0 (Build 19199)
Completely rebuild the XIP section based on:
- Kaiser: MSXIPKernel, MSXIPKernelLTK
- Elfin: OEMXIPKernel
adjusted boot.rgu by adding the 19199 related changes
OEM packages except of OEMDrivers are clean 19199 packages
Requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package
Full XIP editing support
I've added a tool that removes the RGU's from the rom and moves all the DSM content to one DSM

That is good news....
The new 2.20.x.x Elfin ROMs work with both devices.
I asked swiftblade a while ago. It has something to do with the XIP.

it is the final 19199 build... I know it is confusing, cos there exists 19521, 19716, but this one is much newer (much faster, more stable, not beta)... don't ask my what MS is doing with this numbers, I've looked into all this builds and non of those is fake (only the 20000 build was fake, but that was not even AKU1 )

I am using an Elf (Wasabi 64/128), I have flashed 2.20 ROM (for Elfin) for sometimes. It did worked on my Elf with the result that Program Memory became bigger than what it should be and extended over Storage Memory (less Storage Memory).
It also consumed higher memory.
BTW, it did work.

There is one thing that I cannot do, I cannot make an OS.nb smaller than 50MB. It cannot be flashed to my Elf.

Correct 50MB is the Limit which should give you a pretty nice Big Storage Anyhoos.

Already flashed OS-ElfIn to my Elf, it does work and it is much better than install Elfin 2.20 ROM on my Elf.
Camera doesn't work.
What pool does it have 4Mb or 8Mb???. Lately to those who we have ELF have us forgotten because 8Mb of pool it is great for us that our machine has few RAM, and nobody can say to me like to change the pool to 4Mb.

Ok, thanks for testing
There are no apps installed on this rom, cos I'm not releasing an Elf ROM without having an Elf.
I'm just making a Kitchen the other ROM cooks can use.
This Kitchen is just a "perfect" port of the new OS and to add the OEM apps is job of the cooks.

yes, it is WM 6.1. Build 19199, forget about the other WM 6.1 builds... this one is the newest one, more stable, much faster, not beta.
19716 Is beta build and very slow
19521 Is a very old build... I've known this build for about 4 months
191xx Also old and some of them beta
19400 Also new... but no idea what exactly that is... it is somehow different from the other build
19199 Is the new build ported from a leaked HTC Kaiser rom, it seams to be something like final AKU 1; Try it, it's very fast
I have no idea were all this builds higher than 19199 come from, but all of them are real and not fake numbers. So I'm thinking MS is working with different teams on this builds. Build 195xx 197xx seam to have a newer kernel, 191xx have newer SYS stuff, 19199 is the perfect one with new kernel and SYS

A plank? I reworked it with imgfs tools using a base wizard image. If it doesn't work then I'll flash it back. Not like I'm messing with the bootloader or anything...

I believe mUm can extract some files and put it into a Wizard rom.
What will be about the Htc P4350? The hardware is not really different to the wizard. Will there be a way to extract the WM6 ROM (comming on O2 germany in 2 weeks) and transform to wizard????

I had to reflash from SD, heh. Trust the expert. But at least I knew enough to backup... Funny but as you said, with many of the files the bin diff was equal. Only 39 files actually changed after all that "progress". So I guess your ROM is different If a way newer Universal ROM is only 39 files different than my baseline Orwell dump then it makes me wonder what the heck Microsoft is doing with all those thousands of people and billions of dollars...
AFAIK mun already ported this rom to wizard, but he won't give it to other ppl=)

I'm not that familiar with the BenQ ROM, but I'm looking in to it now. Hi everyone I got my Kaiser 3 days ago and I've been reading and sending pm to some people then reading some more and I now have my first cooked rom on my kaiser
I still need to figure out how to port the xip but for now I have a rom 0s 5.2.1620(build 18533) so it's a new build but the xip is not realy new
I still need to make some changes to the oem stuff
anyway just liked to share this news as some of you might know me from the prophet forum.

it's still to early to tell but I'm trying to make it work but in this flash I did not get it working.
edit I just tried and I can launch all sides of the cube using it's shortcuts no black screen as on some devices

I am using Ranju's last ROM 7.7, it is a very good one, i cannot imagine how a better ROM could be??
plz if any has tried both, tell us ur impression, is it worthy to change to NN.cuong's one?
Can't recommend this one - bricked my UNI and needed to follow the full Mamaich unbrick process to get it working again!
Currently running KDSKamal again, but thinking about switching to Ranju 7.7.

It is the fastest ROM i have ever seen in my life, not only for Uni but alkso for all devices i have used till now started with Qtek 1010 and ended with Polaris. It is extremly fast in switching between landscape and portrait, searching my contacts (2500 contacts) in a snap. To be honest, i didn't install a lot of programs, only the Arabizer of Imaginet (it is knwon as a heavy program) and anothe 10 bucks of medical programs called Skyscape (it is known as a so light programs). I didn't install any utilities or multimedia programs, didn't add any thing in today screen, it is alrady occluded . Really, give it a trial. The only questionable problem is some tolerable strange Radio behavior, will try radio 1.18 and decide.

Really, it is a difficult question, and the answer depends upon ur demands. Ranju's is a very stable and having a lot of stuffs. Cuong's one is fast as a rocket, vanilla, and ported from a VGA ROM, the base ROM for all the coming cooked ROMs in next days, and I dream if the masters of cooking could integarte the Manila stuffs in next ROMs. So, for me if Cuong's ROM provides me with the minimum level of stability during my drive test along today and may be tommorrow at maximum, I'll keep it till Ranju release a new Diamond based ROM.

Your advices were very helpfull for me.
I concurred, n.n.cuong rom is really fast, this rom is as fast as his 2.11.11 if not faster,
this is how universal really should feel, fast and snappy!

Just out of curiosity, is your Universal a G3 device or a G4 device?
Though, sometimes the FAT does get messed up during flashing and then there is always MTTY to the rescue!

Yes, it is kindness from DaiThang to provide us with the translation. Unfortunately, both of my Universals are not with me. One is out for repairs due to broken USB port and the other is with one of my friends. So unfortunately, I cannot try this ROM and Ranju's v7.7 ROM for few days.
PhamQuang was the first one to port the Diamond ROM to Universal. This I posted few days ago and you must have missed it. The Universal with my friend has this ROM on it. Very fast and very stable.
Of course, combine PhamQuang Diamond port with the NNCuong previous v2.11.11, I have no doubt we have a winner on our hands. An extremely fast and very stable ROM with 21MB as Flash Disk.

this is a test rom and should only be flashed by people that know how to recover from Bootloader
Last try did not work so I try one more time
I did not have WinCENLS_WWE in the last rom so therefor it could not boot.
I do not have a Herald so this rom is not tested I only use the knowlage I have from other devices to build this rom
If you don't know how to recover don't flash this unless someone has confiremed that it is working
I'm just uploading the beta of the WWE version
It will be in ENG, ESN, FRA, GER, ITA, NLD, PTG, DAN, NOR, PLK and RUS but only if this one will work ofcause
Please remember that it's a beta.
Anyway please test it and see if something is not working.
ThrottleLauncer is not in this version because the version I'm using is still in development (So it like a clean rom but not totaly clean)

Do you recomend flashing the RUU before flashing this one or should it work as is? I'm currently using itje's TouchIt. Also it's not good idea to flash this one from Vista, right...

I do not have a herald so it new to me but I've tried to use the same method as I've used for cooking for kaiser, Elf, Nike and Prophet but I only I had a device I could figur out how to flash.
I don't even know what spl and unlocking needs to be done before flashing.
but with my kaiser and Elf I could flash them with my own roms within 2 days after getting them.

On this great rom? I look forward to any new rom by itje or gullum. I currently run diamond v1 on my kaiser and was hoping for a similar port for my wife's herald.

I'm happy to tell you that my Herald has come to the post office and needs to be run through tax office before I can get it.... but that shouldn't take to long and I can begin cooking Herald roms too

on my Kaiser I'm working on 20273 but it's giving me some problems but I'll see if I can figure them out or I'll go back to 19214 witch is the best build I've used

yeah.... cause it is hard to fullfil all the wishes.....hahahaha
at the moment there is not much going. on. the big change was the diamond comming out. but now?? nothings happening
yeah, but somehow we still get new builds with alarming frequency somehow. It's like we're pulling them out of our collective *sses.
got my Herald today did hard SPL so I'll start cooking and testing tonight.
I have a Kaiser too but after playing around with the original shiped rom and now the pdaviet that comes with Hard SPL I come to the conclusion that it's way better then Kaiser.
EDIT:
I finaly got my rom too boot after many many flashes.. now I will use the rom during tomorrow to see how it works before uploading the WWE test version
I just want to know if anybody heard anything on WM6.5 and if it will be released for kaiser phones?

I know for sure that the Blackstone build (20757) is the same build as WM 6.1.4

wow, to think MS was mad about just little bits and pieces of the 6.5 Kernel that are supposedly in 21109 supposedly according to some stuff i saw concerning PPCGeeks.
a whole 6.5 beta ROM? MS isn't going to be happy about that being released to the world. I wonder if he removed the timebomb they like to stick in with beta releases...

Actualy at PPCGEEKS was 21014 not 21109.
We are monitored by MS and nobody wanted us to remove nothing yet SO .... ?
The BA 6.5 ROM is the same as my 21014 compared modules so dont worry there is no WM6.5 released yet .
And if they were WM6.5 the first to get it will be again xbeta.cn --- after that xda-dev's
what MS should do i give us the kernel and the all the programs and we will compile the roms for them
at list they will have tons of free testers

21109 is actually a bit speedier it seems even than 04, with or without the supposed kernel inclusions.
