I can't seem to be able to flash another Radio Stack to my Kaiser.
I'm trying to flash a 6.1 radio stack. I'm running DCSv1.1 ROM.
Any ideas?
Scrap that....helps if I actually install hard-SPL properly

i'm having problem upgrading my radio stack. I currently have radio stack 1.12.10 and i want to upgrade to 1.13 but the upgrade program is always stuck at 0% and returns error after a long while.
I didn't try downgrading though, but i tried to reflash with 1.12.10 and it didn'twork either. So i guess something is not right... i even tried to reflash my rom... but after reflashing my rom... i still can't reflash my radio stack... help!!!

funny ... i had to downgrade it to radio 1.11 before upgrading it to 1.13
Please where can i download Radio v.1.27.12.11 Flashed new Dutty's TouchFlo Hybrid No.2. All ok except no sound.
im sure this isnt the best way, but you can flash a rom with the 12.11 radio on it to your device and then you can flash dutty's and your phone will retain the 12.11 radio. you should be able to get the 12.11 radio from most at&t cooked roms.

upgraded mda compact iv rom to duttys 3.5a, fone information doesn't say the radio was upgraded, did duttys 3.5a contain a radio upgrade, should i have upgraded the radio first, will uprading the radio wipe out duttys 3.5a is the radio upgrade v1.00.25.05 really needed and how will it help?
If the radio stayed the same after a ROM flash, then chances are that there wasn't an included radio. You can upgrade the radio at any time and if you have no troubles with the current one, just stick with it.
You would have to read his post to see if the radio was included in the rom (you didn't give enough information for me to be able to tell you, i would also have to read on it. every rom is different and differetn for every phone), you can flash a radio by itself if it was not included. If you don't flash the appropriate radio you can have problems with your phone such as: Camera not to work, to have a black screen, to have no sound or intermittent sound. (extreme examples)

Im having problems with my radio ROM (atleast I think its the radio ROM which is the problem).
I have flashed my ROM to Schap's 4.31
I used HardSPL first btw!
The new ROM seems to work fine, except I can't hear people when they ring me, and they can't hear me. And the signal disappears completely sometimes. Also the camera doesn't work.
I had read a good bit before flashing my ROM, so recognised this as most likely being an issue with the Radio ROM.
After some more reading I tired Kaiser Radio 1.65.21.18 and then after some more reading im now on 1.65.16.25 (which the guy in the orange shop today confirmed as the correct ROM for my phone)
And although the issue with the signal seems to have improved if not gone, I still can't hear people, and they cant hear me. Camera still doesn't work.
Am I being a total prat and have missed something noobishly obvious? This is my first WM Phone, and had really tied to read everything so this wouldn't happen!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This really seems a Radio problem. Try to flash some other radio. It's really quick to flash a new radio so try it some times until you find a good one.
Also, go to the Schap's 4.31 threat and see what SPL and Radio the cooker recomends and the "users" of that ROM using.

Your answer you need could be already there and probably you haven't the need to open a new threat.. that I suppose will be closed as soon some mod read it.

I'm using the 03-12-08 Hyperdragon Blackstone Build on my Orange UK Tytn II with Radio 1.65.24.36 and cmonex's HardSPL 3.29 and all is perfectly well with mine
Flash a stock rom
If you still get problems try flashing an old stock orange rom from the Wiki and see if that fixes things. The stock roms should have the oem/original radio with them. Hopefully then your'll be able to check if the problem is hardware or software, but it does sound like you need to find a compatible radio.
Schap's 4.31 is WM6 as far as I remember and you are trying to use radio for WM6.1

Let me start by saying thank you to all the amazing rom cooks out there -I am loving the badass roms available these days! My question is this -Which roms overwrite the radio? The stock tmobile rom had the 03.21.90 radio, but the canonyang rom I used to hardspl had 03.07.90 -I need to find a rom with the newer radio (or if someone has a standalone 03.21.90 radio that would be great too). As it stands, I'm using Ivan's roms, and he doesn't include a radio, so my phone continues to use the older radio from canonyang.
If I revert back to the stock rom to update the radio, then I'll just lose it as soon as I hardspl again... Anyone have a hardspl rom with the 03.21.90 radio?

You can update the Radio without updating the whole phone. Please see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=432526 to find the newest as well as other Radio versions for the Wing
