Does anyone know if the likes of a USB keyboard could be used with an adaptor on a Wizard etc?
I never really thought about it before until I saw this...

Hi
I'm wondering if anyone managed to pair S710 with bluetooth keyboard. I was trying to do this with Logiteh diNovo Edge no success .
Altough S710 can discover keyboard it's timing out during pairing after pass number is provided. No problem with S710 on other bluetooth devices (GPS, bluetooth) or connecting logitech to other bluetooth devices (laptop)
Anyone else succeded with external keyboard ?
I know the one included is great but....
Mine works fine with the Stowaway Ultra Slim BT keyboard.
In fact I would go as far as to say it is brilliant
The BT mouse doesnt work though
I am havign the exact same problem pairing my Microsoft Elite BT Keyboard with my HTC Touch Cruise... Did you find a way around this yet? Please PM if you have a solution...
Hi all..
I picked up a HTC Touch Cruise from another site member and am loving it.. I am coming from a Kaiser that got...uhh. damaged.. I am finding I am missing the keyboard and I remembered that I had a nice bluetooth keyboard that I have previously paired with a WM2003 device I had (HP iPaq).. And for the LIFE of me I can not get it paired correctly...
The keyboard is a Microsoft Keyboard Elite for Bluetooth model 1002.
The phone sees the keyboard, and tries to connect.. but here is the problem...
The USUAL way to pair this keyboard is you search for it (phone does this), click pair, (check).. then you are supposed to pick "pick a code for me" and then type that code in the keyboard.. But there never is that option... I don;t meed to sound like a noob, but can someone give me a step by step or some other method? Thanks in advance...
I have the iGo Ultra Slim Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard and can't use it with my Desire. I can pair it just fine, but after pairing I can't connect to it and use it as an input device.
Has anyone figured out how to use a BT keyboard with his Desire?

Hate to say this:
Search!
You have a HID Keyboard, byt you need a SIP Keyboard, like the Freedom Universal.
The you have to get a good BT driver.
What I find out :
HTC uses old bleutooth stack with its Sense UI and I failed to connect my ThinkOutside keyboard with several successful solutions for other android phone.
Now I am very happy typing with it on my Desire with the OpenDesire ROM. It recognizes it and connect with it straight away and even some of the function keys works (tho not yet for the task specific keys).
But have to give up Sense UI for that. But I find that it's pretty fast to just restore to another ROM with Sense and I can get best of both worlds.
Hi all,
I'm trying to find an external keyboard for my rooted, CM7 Optimus T for under $50. It doesn't matter if it's USB or bluetooth keyboard as long as the phone is propped up when typing on the keyboard (an integrated dock would be nice). If you guys have any ideas let me know.
Thanks.
I've never thought of an external keyboard for you're/a phone.Isn't enough the touchscreen keyboard?
I feel like I could type much faster with an external keyboard compared to on-screen keyboard. Plus, the on-screen keyboard that I'm using is a swype-like keyboard so it would be nice if I have a letter-by-letter tactile keyboard as an alternative.
I'm using CM7 2.3.4 (mik_os) and from what I've gathered it could run the standard-fare HID bluetooth keyboard (please correct me if I'm wrong), so I bought one of them off Amazon for $17 (after looking up "mini blueetooth keyboard"). It'll arrive in 2 days so we'll see. Any app that I need to install to configure the keyboard more easily? (I've heard many bluetooth keyboards don't have Android instructions).
The other thing I would like is to prop up the phone when I type so I'll probably need some sort of a kick stand or a dock. Any suggestions? I've came across the iGo Stowaway which is a foldable keyboard/stand - a perfect solution but very expensive so I would like a cheaper alternative for a stand after purchasing the keyboard.
Thanks.
Bluetooth keyboard
Hi, I bought a bluetooth keyboard from ebay for around $20 and got it working on cm7 with a program called BlueInput from the market.
Has worked flawlessly evertime for several months.
get an app called WiFi Keyboard on the android market for free.
It works great and can turn any networked computer's keyboard into a keyboard for your android
search at ebay. there are good bluetooth keyboards and u need to install a driver to make it work, which the manufacturer provides
This seems like the sort of problem that has simple and obvious solution but I have looked everywhere and not found one. I bought a mini bluetooth keyboard to use on my e100 because texting with the resistive touchscreen is pretty much the worst thing ever. The keyboard manual claims that is natively supports WM6.5 which is what the e100 runs. When I put the keyboard in pairing mode the phone finds it as "Bluetooth mini Keyboard" and is able to pair with it. However unlike my other bluetooth devices such as my headset which works without a problem the option to connect is greyed out. The difference seems to be that the devices that have the option to connect have services to be used from them. I have scoured the internet reading about bluetooth stacks and have failed to find a solution. Any help much appreciated.
Noone has any ideas?
