Lol, that is exactly why we're better than iPhone. They need a "guitar" to showcase what it can do. Ohh, iPhone, touch a string, and wow oooohhh Wow. I believe our Pocket PC's don't need a "guitar" to prove we're better.

At least we have the freedom to develop a program that will run on a PPC and we're not locked out of our OS!
Also there are cool programs like Songbook and Songsheet, great for learning, but if you want to play guitar, might I suggest, just a thought now, a GUITAR!

I think its a cool app. cant' be done on the PPC though because of lack of multitouch support.

What you should make a note of is the things that it improves upon from all the previous ui's of WM past. I'll wait for 8.

I've gone thru the entire gallery and if its truly able to deliver on what it can do.. Its pretty much gonna be good light years jump from what WinMo and all other platforms short of the iPhone and still good 5 years ahead of the iPhone itself...
They are really going big on movement based gestures and some of the concept is truly remarkable.. like if you see lets say, a name on the browser search. One can then tap and hold on it and start "shaking" the phone/device which tells the device to do a "smart search" where it'll "rain" down a bunch of animated icons that settle down to show the various things/files/pictures/activities related to that name existing in your phone etc... what a simple yet ingenious concept.
Although, I must say that this will open more questions than answers to why did MS have to make this Super-Quantum leap from WM6 and not have given us a good progression to it in the form of already having released such interface in WM5 onwards??!!?? After all, this kind of technology and its implementation could not have just been put together overnight within the last 6 or lets say 12 months subsequent to the announcement/release of the iPhone...
Good Ol' boy wizards Mr. Gates and Balmer holding back as usual I guess...

For tilt maybe, but I don't think my old prophet can carry the weight... There was no WM6 update, so why should there be one for 7.

ya i was really greatful at&t baked us a wm6 rom for hermes (8525), is 100% stable and runs awesome, but i still can't wait to try some wm7 fresh from the kitchen goodness!

Well if you look at the video you will find whats new or at least just a few bits of whats new in Office Mobile 2010, you did not expect the whole package in a video, right ?
Personally for me the new outlook sorting emails is very cool feature, i enjoy it on the pc version, also the plugins for thumbnails not just for powerpoin but for word and excell in web browser are cool. You can not expect much change in office mobile, take a look in the past builds, nothing dramatic changed, it will be similar in this one
Will this finally give us the ability to place pictures in Word docs and edit Powerpoints. Softmaker office does all that. And someday we might see OpenOffice on WM.

I have a request for a similar app, might be interesting for most of us..
I had this electric glass ball which connects to my PC via USB.. when u touch on it, it gathers all the light at your finger..
I beleive most us know what I am talking about...
Can we have something similar to electric ball.. where in you can have different color rays on device screen(like hologram) and when we touch the screen, all the vibrating rays come to your finger, just like u are touching the electric ball..
It would be really great if someone can make one... I am sure this app will be unique..

hahaha! Sorry to be so crass but whatevs. This stuff is so perfect I had to post it plus I'm surprised we're JUST now seeing a print like this one. I actually think even the iClones will like to wear this print anyway since they're usually into whatever is trendy. This way, its completely outspoken and I never really have to say anything. Usually I figure things out my dang self but I'm always turning people onto the community. I mean how many times have you run into someone with some HTC phone and its still got the protective shipping plastic on the back about to fall off (like your grandmas' 40 year old plastic covered couch) and you can tell they haven't even begun to use it?! Yeah, I know...what a waste right. And thats why I am very grateful for this gash darn community.

ps...to be truthful, it doesn't have much to do with iPhones or Mac's to me. I'm sure they technically do their jobs well. However, its the "greater-than-thou" attitude that seems to inhabit people once they "wield" a APPLE device that enrages me. Some one gets an iPhone or a MAC and all of a sudden they apparently 1) know calculus, 2) speak 3 languages, 3) can locate Tanzania on a topographical globe, 4) and wear Birkenstocks?! EEF all that madness. Its more the big corporate One-Size-Fits all mentality that enrages me.

I have one. My friend posted a siri vs google now vid on his timeline and of course google now trumped. The ishep convo goes like this:

Siri is better because it's still really fast, and the droid only beat it by fractions of seconds at some points. It also gave more out more data than its competitor, and was more visually appealing. I also personally don't care which sounds more human like either.

In most cases people want data immediately, not more of it. And siri only displayed more data once.
