hey all, i have the htc s620 that im using for my at&t service. the phone was in perfect working condition when i fell asleep. the battery was dead when i woke up, so i put it on the charger while i was at work (6 hours) and i tried to turn it on when i got home and it just wont do anything, when i reconnect it to the charger the amber light turns on for about 2 seconds and then it turns green but it still wont turn on, im going to try a new battery before i send it in to be repaired. i was just posting to see if anyone else has had this problem...?

My device just stopped working! The only bit of activity I can get out of it is if I try and charge it with the back cover off, then the led turns red. Other than that it wont work at all (just turned off mid-use). It has been dropped in the past, but that was months ago. Any advice please!
Hi everyone i purchesed the o2 xda orbit 2 days ago and all has been well untill about 15 mins ago. I was brousing the net using IE with wirless connection to my router. Put the phone on the table and went away for 10 mins came back and it wouldnt connect back to the internet so i swithed off the phone by holding down the off buttom until it asks to switth on and selected ok, then i pressed the on button to turn back on, the blue screen came up with the bubble and the red numers and stuff, then just when black but the yellow light that blinks to tell you its got signal was still blinking. I tried removing the battery then restarted but still the same. Now i have noticed it will start up with the charger pluged in but as soon as i unplug screen goes black I plug it back in again and it comes back! the battery is currently 60% charged.
Any help would be much appriciated.

Hi Friends,
I purchased my sensation Last Friday (June 24th)... I have a few issues with it. Does anyone know what would be considered a normal charging time for this phone? It took me nearly 6.5 hours to charge the phone last night (wall charger) while the phone was turned OFF! I find that excessive... My Evo charged in about an hour with the phone powered down. Also, I did plug the charger in this morning after normal use (about an hour).. When I plugged it in, the LED immediately turned green to say it was fully charged. Knowing this wasn't true, I turned the phone off - Now it turns orange?
Second issue I have seen with others on XDA. The touch screen is sporadic! Sometimes it will work great, other times I have to lock the phone and unlock it to get the screen to recognize any touch.
I'm not sure if I should take it in for an exchange this weekend. I love the phone... Anyone else want to chime in???
Thanks!

My first two Sensations had these issues and others. MY third one seems to be fine. I have 7 days left on buyer remorse. If you have any real doubts I would say exchange it for another new one instead of waiting and perhaps gettting a refurb one.

Hello xda-developers,
Long version: I have a HTC Inspire 4G device, a month ago i was doing a phone call for at least 10 minutes (the only thing I remember when I made the phone-call the battery bar percentage was 29% (according to GO Power Master app)), The phone shut down suddenly without notice. I tried to turn it on, it wont turn on, i went back home and i put it for charging, the LED was working (I thought it's down because power is low), then when I tried to open it, the phone was stuck on the HTC Logo and keeps rebooting.. I kept the phone for 2 hours in that case rebooting and rebooting until i touched it to find it's overheated. I removed the charging cable, the battery. Since that time whenever I want to turn on the phone, it won't. I removed the battery for 3 weeks now and i put it back, nothing changed. + no orange LED when putting the charging cable + it doesn't get detected on my PC + it gets OVERHEATED every time when putting the charge cable without being able to turn it on.
TL;DR version: HTC Inspire 4G won't turn on, gets overheated when putting on charge + no orange (charging) LED +can't be detected on PC
I don't know what to do, please let me know if there is something I can fix, Thanks for your time.
UP Please.
Can someone tell me what to do, please?
Hey guys,
a few days ago I accidentally dropped an HTC One E8 in water and obviously it doesn't work anymore. Before buying a new one I wanted to ask, if some of our "HTC experts" may have suggestions on what else I could try before giving up.
The situation: I dropped it in water, didn't turn it off (dumb, I know) and it worked for around 10 minutes until it powered off. I left it in rice for a day and it didn't turn on or charge. At this point I nearly gave up.
I left it for in rice (about 48 hours) and - the orange led was flashing while charging. Even the screen turned on and it showed a charging symbol first and after a few seconds it showed a red circle and a white exclamation mark. After some time I could power it on and the touchscreen worked and I could use it, but it still was around 1%/0%. The screen flickered, but it was usable. I wanted to plug it in my computer then to rescue some data, but 5 seconds after I took it off power (to switch from the wall charger to my PC) it died.
Now I tried it to power it on for like 2 days, but with no charger connected nothing happens and when I connect the charger, the orange led is on constantly. I tried power/volume- and power/volume+, but nothing happens. Not even the charging indicator comes up, the screen is completely dead.
Are there any steps to try before giving up? By the way I don't want to disassemble it
Thanks in advance
