Thanks for the guide to dump... manage to dump the spanish HTC WM6 ROM, and now i have two questions...
First is easy (i think), what is every partition of the dump? i suppose part03 is the imgfs, but can you give us more information about this?
Second one is do you think can be interesting uploading the dumped ROMs to the wiki (like in the hermes wiki)? If "yes" i can upload the spanish one.
Thanks again for your efforts.
i have followed the links but only downloaded pdocread.cpp
Anyone got pdocread.exe direct link

http://nah6.com/~itsme/cvs-xdadevtools/itsutils/src/pdocread.cpp
Thanks a lot!!!
But when i run pdocread.exe an error mag:
"Could not update itsutils.dll to the current version, maybe it is inuse?
try restarting your device, or restart activesync
or maybe your device is application-locked."
I restarted my Kaiser, still the same error...
Anyone could help?

For now there is no way to repack the dumpeds ROM, we need to wait and make more research, seems we are near to get the way to do.
You need NBH file and HardSPL/KaiserCustomRUU (thanks to Pof) to flash a Kaiser.

I'd quite like to know this as well - I'm assuming one of the sections is the SPL. It'd be nice to know which, so I can revert back to the factory SPL if needs be.

[Q] I need help. Trying to root LG Nitro HD.

Sorry in advanced if this has been asked, but alas I searched and to no avail did I find a post.
I am using SuperOneClick 2.3.3 and trying to root my AT&T LG Nitro HD with Gingerbread 2.3.5. It does everything right and then gets to Step #7 and stops. Does anyone know why?

LG Nitro 2.3.5 root problem
I have the same problem. Super one click 2.3.3 get to step 7 and than stops and doesnt complete. I tried the manual root method also with no luck.
Bump.
Can someone please help us?
Did you guys install that over-the-air update for your Nitro? I did and I get this same behavior with super one click (not working). I'm thinking they might have "patched" the vulnerability that soc uses.

Yes I did.
Nitro HD Root
Same boat here. I installed that update and then spent hours trying to root my nitro yesterday, only to realize I was wasting my time because none of these methods work. I tried SuperOneClick and I tried the manual method. On top of that, pretty sure I'm not helping my phone being I messed with it so much trying to root it. Wish I would've known ahead of time I wasn't going to be able to pull it off. We're going to need some backup lol.

[Q] Samsung Repp root?

Please forgive me if I am posting under the wrong category or section of this forum. Haven't posted much on any forums.
My question is after doing research for the past 24hrs plus is there anyway to gain root access or access to where I can remove applications that are in the system partition/folder of the Samsung Repp SCH-R680?
Have tried SuperOneClick v2.3.3.0 and it gets stuck at Step #7 with the following as the output ::
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037 *
* daemon started successfully *
