I have a strange problem. My Magician had a simlock, but i wanted to unlock it, so I used this xda tool for unlocking. Probably simlock is removed, because when i put a sim card from other net provider, it accept it but find no service. My Magician is finding only one network- the one from original provider (but it should find more!). Is it some kind of lock? Please help!

I have a german Vodafone VPA compact. But when I put a simcard from another provider in (medion-mobile) it doesn't ask about PIN or Unlock-Code, just opens Windows. It has no phone functions.
Please help! I tried to unlock it with several programs, but none of them worked.

My cellphone is asking for a password. I have no idea what the password is. I tried a hard reset but did not advace to nothing. Can anyone help me with a password reset? I am paying for service that I cant use at this time.

Your Mobile Service provider will be able to assist you.
I called Cingular and they say its a manufacturer issues, that they are the only ones that can un lock my phone. HTC is my phones manufacturer and they say its a cingular issue. I dont know what else to do. I need the password for my phone and not the sim card. Can you help me with that?
Hi Guys and Gals, I am moving back from M5000 to M600 but I am having a bit of difficulty unlocking the Sim. I have followed the Wiki directions and have my unlock code. The problem is that when I insert my new sim I am not asked for a network password but simply informed that I have an invalid or missing sim card, therefore I cannot unlock.
Any bright suggestions out there?

try to put a small piece of paper between your simcard and your battery,
for me it's working
Try a different SIM if you have one.
Hi guys, i have a similar problem, i run lokiwiz 03a and get the unlock code, then try a different sim, on boot up it first asks for network unlock code, i enter it, then it asks for service provider code, i then enter the same code, it then proceeds to the today screen, searches for network, then the phone goes into flight mode (well the phone function shows off) then the sim lock pops up again and asks again for the two unlock codes??? i have tried with various sim networks, hard reset and manually copied the .cabs to ROOT of phone, with no luck. help..... each time i try Lokiwiz it gives same code...
my old friend the tornado is to be replaced by a kaiser. a year ago i did all the unlock and supercid procedures and worked with several rom versions and tried also another network - my tornado was a vodafone vda II once. i've been very happy with it, but i like to have those additional features of a wm professional device.
unfortunately i experianced a problem - the new sim card from hutchinson is not accepted by my dear old device. the error message is: "The SIM card is missing or is not valid. You can still make emergency calls if your service provider supports it."
i checked with spv-Services and this reports the phone unlocked. well - and my wife is waiting for the phone - i'm sure most of you know how demanding girls can get when it comes to a new cell phone.
so please, if anyone experianced this issue and is able to provide a solution - it would be great!!!

Just go to your service provider office and ask to change your SIM card for old type. There was a same problem with my HTC StarTrek and Beeline service provider.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I have done that, but when i want to use the internet, it says it cant find the correct settings for o2 network, as i said the wifi side is not a problem, what else can i do please.
you need to enter the o2 gprs apn and username and password if those are used
settings->connections->connections and alter the my isp settings or whatever the
name is in you device

please help! Does anybody know what massage "data crashes, Contact your Service Center"? it happened when i put SIM card to my phone - supposed its locked but i dont how to unlock it, ive tried free onffline unlocker but it didnt help! (i have czech t-mobile SIM)... i have qtek 8310 with window mobile
