Why isn't my phone running at 400 Mhz?

the kasier processor slows done when not on full load as to save bettery. you would want your kaiser running at 100% all the time or it would be dead every 45 minutes

Yeah, that definitely makes sense. Thanks, austinsnyc.

I agree with austinsync... should be like that...
once it happened to me to have 410mHz, as well!

yea ive had 416mhz. it changes lol.

so if im running all kinds of programs like a movie, internet, gps, bluetooth, ect. the cpu speed can sometimes get over 400?

it automatically adjusts mine goes from 375mhz to 420mhz

I've been searching all over for a clocker also. There's time when I'm at work, and all I ever use the phone is for email, because I'm very mobile.
I barely play music, or watch movies, so I actually need something to limit the speed, there's time I need battery span, than speed at work.

I'm rooted with the GB 2.3.3 update and stock battery with Juicedefender and Setcpu installed. Battery life has definitely made a difference over Froyo and I'm pretty satisfied with the fewer trips to the wall-charger. However, I was wondering why the camera and gallery takes up 46% of my battery I haven't used the camera and I've tried restarting it the phone, but they still persist in the battery list. Anyone with a similar issue?
I don't see an issue. That doesn't mean the camera is still running. It just means you havn't really used your phone for anything. With the power saving settings you have, and the fact that you hardly used the phone in two days, you could have used the camera for 3 minutes and probably would have counted for 20 %
You don't wanna know where this was sent from.
I thought about that too. I did put the phone into airplane mode over-night and also used it to play music with the screen off for a couple of hours, which it why the levels might indicate like I hardly used the phone. But that's the mystery, I never used the camera, at all over the past 2 days.

{Help} Battery troubles still

I have a new phone 2 weeks old and from day 1 I've had horrible battery even with minimal use. usually I can get through a work day and that's it. I work in construction so I have no wifi. I turn off Wifi,NFC,Data,GPS,Bluetooth, and set screen brightness to lowest setting unless i'm using them. But keep in mind I'm rarely using my phone except for breaks which i put it on the charger. Here are some pictures that may help decipher the problem. At first glance I have a "wake lock". I'm stuck at 384MHz. I've had a wakelock on all my roms for some reason. Sometimes its the media app sometimes its android system...Currently I'm on Barebones CM10 but I've had most of this forums roms\kernels on my phone after a full wipe and even after some odin stock. I'm kinda lost as my sister who got the phone a day after me has great battery life and my friends say they can get up to 2 days if they aren't using it. i don't believe the 2 days comment, but still his battery life isn't as bad. I'm not crazy right? Also, I'm not sure why all the time running aren't the same

App for Logging CPU clock/frequency

Are there any apps that can show me a graph of my phone's CPU clock/frequency over time? I want to see how my governors affect my clock during games and such, what clock the CPU is set to and when. Now I know that apps like SetCPU give you a list of all the possible CPU clock steps and tell you how long the CPU spent in each clock, but that only gives you a vague idea of whether or not your clock settings are ideal.
The ONLY app I have found that comes close to doing this is CoolTool, which can graph ANYTHING over time, including CPU frequency. Unfortunately it's a tiny little 64 pixel graph meant to sit on the notification bar, and it stops graphing during a game, or when you turn the screen off, etc. Are there any alternatives?
This is a Windows version of what I am looking for, OpenHardwareMonitor. It can log your CPU clock over time, if you use CPU stepping like AMD Cool'n'Quiet. I'm looking for something like THIS for Android:

Help! Benchmark suddenly shows crap CPU.

Hi!
Since the day I got my Z3, I've always had around 25000 "points" in Quadrant Standard benchmark. Now, however, the phone won't even reach 13000.
From a screenshot shot back in august, CPU points is 91152. If I run the same benchmark today, it is somewhat around 38000.
What could be the reason of this? My currently "profile" is 300-2457mhz, interactive/cfq.

Today:
Try a reboot and retry quadrant without opening any apps.
i also feel CPU usage is high in new update. all video players are lagging.
tried repairing/resetting through PCC. formatted memory card. still video lags randomly on all the players.

I have tried this many times. Reinstalling SetCPU and SetXperia, but it just keeps getting lower and lower.. At the moment it wont even reach 10000 points.

When I use the phone the percentage only drops in 30s multiples or 1s close to that.
Is this how it's supposed to be? I've never seen something like this before.

Who's got that battery? 1 hour sot in 10 minutes? That's what I need. The better I get is 40 min while watching videos. The issue is the percentage drop seems locked and the better I get is 5h sot without playing any games, only using social apps like Twitter/Instagram and setting FH+ screen. I already wiped, installed the less amount of apps I could, updated to the last firmware and nothing has really changed.
