i have partitioned sd card and click fix permissions then i tried to install a zip file from sdcard but there is no files and folders exist.
how can i access them again

I am curious to know if I can format my SD card. There are a bunch of folders and random files and I want to re-structrue the file system. I have att1's stock rooted rom (which is in a file on the SD card). Will this cause me any problems if I format the card?

In the possibility I flashed a boot.img on my phone without copying the ROM first into the builtin SD card (e.g. One X and many others), how can copy the ROM zip into the internal SD card?

i'm not yet doing a reformat on my sd card..i think it's a virus..i'm not familiar with those viruses...all the files that left on my sd card are files that unable to open on my phone.,.im using samsung galaxy y..im not yet formatting my sd card hoping there's any way to recover all my files..those files are really important..please help...thanks sir...
I flashed RR 6.0.1 rom recently but i am not able to write on SD card. Not any app used sd card as its download directry . I tried to make backup of apps using titanium backup and it also fails . I cannot copy files from internal storage to sd card too. Btw i have not made my sd card as internal storage.
Sounds like you sd card gave up, can you do anything with it on any other devices?
ofcourse . I can acccess it using pc and on mobile too using file explorer but i cannot copy any file into it . I cannot change download directry of any apps to SD card . It was working fine on lolipop . This issue happens after flashing RR 6.0.1

I can copy files to another device and view contents too but i cannot set the download directory to SD card. For example, i want titanium backup to create backup of apps on my SD card but its not letting me do it . I changed backup folder location to SD card too but still getting the issue ! Same with other apps. I just flashed cm13 and ts giving the same error. I think there is some issue with MM . I wasn't facing this in Lollipop

As cards turning read-only is sometimes the sign of a dying card, take a back-up of everything on the card, just to be safe.
NO, this is not my case . My SD card is not broken as i have downgraded back to stock lollipop and viola SD card is back to normal . Now i can write on Sd card on my phone
