how do i change the sliding keyboard sound - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

yeah, how do i change the sliding keyboard sound

did you search? Tipp: Search "sliding sound"

like transformers?
very clean transformers sounds for sliding kb
just install cab file, go to settings and select!

Im pretty sure he's wanting to know how to do his own custom sliding keyboard sounds, which as much as I've read around here, I havn't seen anyone state how to do. There are cabs that can install them... but that's just using someone else's sounds, and he wants to use his own.

Search around there are a few threads on this topic and they show you which file and how to regedit it to play whatever sounds you want.

Here you go...
http://rapidshare.com/files/79748184/SH4Y_Sliding_Sounds_Configure.cab
Install this CAB..
All you need to do is change Custom-in.wav and Custom-out.wav in the /WINDOWS folder to have your own sounds...
You also need to select custom in the settings menu..

Can you upload this Cab someplace else (or even attach it to a post in this thread?) I have issues using rapidshare due to proxies and stuff I'm behind at most times.

Thanks m8! (^_^)

I have a question about the sliding sounds link.
I loaded up Dutty's DualTouch 4 yesterday, and couldn't find "Keyboard Sliding Sound" (or whatever the link is called) under Settings.
I searched for it under Total Commander and found the EXE file. Ran it and made the change easily. However, I'd really like for it to show up under Settings so I don't have to find the EXE every time.
Is there a fix for this?
Thanks....

Sliding Keyboard Sounds

Howdy gang,
I'm intersted in changing the sliding keyboard sound to something other than a default sound. Where is the file location to put custom mp3s? I was assuming its in the windows folder, but I cant seem to locate it.
Am I to assume the ringtone folder is also in the same location?
Thanks!
I would also be interested in this, and does anyone know where to get the Transformers sliding sounds like the ones used in some of the Kaiser ROMs.
Thanks in advance

It doesn't appear to be an option on the Sprint TP. There are no sliding sounds at all.

OK, I imported the .reg file with resco and still nothing on my Sprint TP. Belive me, I had the Mogul and I know how to add and change the sounds, but with the TP, I don't have any option for sliding keyboard sounds. The device makes no sounds and there is no setting the enables or disables sounds -and there certainly isn't a place to select what sounds you want played. Is there a .cab rather than a reg change? Thank you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=356400
My setting is under settings/sliding keyboard sound/option 1-4
Even if you install the .cab, you still have to turn the sound on in that setting page before you will hear the .cab take effect.

Clock issues after upgradading WinMo 6.5

Hi guys!
I noticed that the clock (Manila 2.5) has some problems, for instances, after tapping the Quick Menu button or after tapping the home button, seems like the clocks delays and then returns to the actual hour.
Do you have the same problem, do you know how to solve it?
Thanks a lot!
That's not a problem, its a "feature" implemented by HTC to show off their flippy clock
MaxTTM has the ability to do this. It's available on the home layouts under "Flip No Anim"
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011
Thank you very much! Will test it!!
OK, and how can I do the correction of this mistake? Because for me it's mistake, not "feature".
To get rid of flip animation, just unzip and copy this file to your Windows directory.

EDIT
Searched some more and found this cab working for me
You should have just tried using total commander or such, as the built in file explorer will not work for this.

HOWTO add a New Tab in HD2

Lot of people looking for how to add a new tab for HD2, but none can find what he's looking for.
A simple example: Adding all programs tab
Let those who know about manila tweaks to help us to have the know-how to achieve this goal.
Thank you
Well there is a program tab being developed in the General WM software development section but it's currently VGA and needs to be edited for WVGA.
Another option is to use MTP (manila today page) in the diamond section this works .004 with sense with a couple of fixes and you can have any today plugin on the today page. see diamond section for full details or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=616415
MTP
Well, I tried the MTP but it didnt add extra tab. but I can use existing tab (in this case STOCK tab) to be use for another link. Now I use it for Radarweather.

You mean that we can't add a new tab but we just can replace existing ones?
But how come they manage to have it on the vga one with even other tab for manilla TV (see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=5383259) But none talk about adding a porgram tab for wvga for HD2, weired isn't it?
Is there any tutorial of how to manipulate the manila xml or even explanation how manila works, so we can try to figure out a solution

You didn't read the instructions carefully. You have to delete the manila xml and delete key in the registry. This is essential to have 1 extra tab:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=616415&highlight=manila+today+page
1. Install MTP
2. Turn off Sense (otherwise you won't be able to perform step 3).
2. install MTP Apple Icon.zip (if you want to have the apple icon instead of the silver windows one...i made a *.cab here)
3. Under \windows delete the file ManilaFull.xml.
4. With a registry editor, delete the key \HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\Configuration.
5. Activate Sense and reorder your tabs (by deleting xml and reg key you'll revert to default order).
I use the manila today page myself for displaying pocket weather in htc style.

Yup, been there, done that, but didnt work for me. In fact I tried it two times. Could be some other mod that I do that make it not working. maybe I will try it again. One question, are you using cooked rom or stock rom?

O.K. have try the new mtp. It install fine without the need to do any window or registry edit. The only drawback (to me) is the ifruit tab icon. It spoil the whole silver feeling. Just a small sacrifice though. Just follow the link given by mkucuksari and download the correct version. Install and softreset. It'll be there.

This cab give a coloured today icon and works for sense, if you don't like the apple icon. It also give a people link on the right instead of MTP settings but the link is non functioning, also the MTP setting link was not functioning on my rom stock 1.66, you can gain access to MTP setting from start menu.

Hi,
One question: After installing this cab, do you also face with a annoying "MTP Load" message at start-up process.

I used Diamond before, one apps cab can be modified it, now I don't know if Touch2 has or not ...
As mentioned use M2D customizer...go to tab background......click on right button "path to new background file"and it is done (PNG files!).
Alternatively you can install a complete "theme" as you find many on XDA (based on new 2.0 Touch flo). Go to tab themes in M2DC. First upload the theme to your phone and put in themes folder.

customize toucflo

Hello, i want to customize my touchflo, i used SPB shell 3.5 but its bugged, and didnt work the SMS/Email button so i back to toucflo. My ask is: is there any program to change my toucflow bar? for example i use opera 10, and the toucflow open opera 9...
and i want to take some special icon... tcmp etc..
thanks a lot
First install M2DC. With this app you can change the default browser. After that install "I C Thru U". This one let's you make "transparent" the operator, taskbar, bottom bar, etc. at your choice.
All these apps can be found here in XDA and I know there are some more but I don't remember.
Always make a backup before doing any change to your device (I use SPB Backup).
Hope this help
EDIT: Forgot! With shortcut manager you can edit (i.e change the icon) any shorcut in your device and make new ones.

Another thing about M2DC is you can edit the today buttons under the scroll/sidebar, I've put in the left button a link to G-Alarm and in the right button a link to the file explorer. This can be done in the "Softkeys" tab, just browse the app you want link and name it or just left it that way.
