Mini SD is a standard size and shape. They fit fine.

well, not quite. I've read reviews about the spectec mini sd wifi cards, and they do stick out of the card slot so you cannot close the plastic door. So you are not right. (Btw, few years ago, sandisk had a sd wifi card, which was sticking out about an inch from the card slot. So that the card is mini sd doesn't mean it won't stick out. It only means, it will fit the slot)

I don't think any exist right now. They get horrible reception as is and enclosing it completely would make it virtually unusable.

I only found this one, too, and I am really missing WLan.

MicroSDHC not recognized...

When i got this tablet, it came with a 16 GB Lexar Micro SDHC card. The only problem is that my TF-101 doesn't recognize it even though it says preparing External Storage. I have a SD card adapter, but idk if it will work with a SDHC, so idk if I can format it to Fat32. Any ways to solve this?
Plug it into a PC if you can, and check what filesystem its formatted as. Then try reformat it to fat32.
And just to clarify, the "HC" part in SDHC simply stands for "High Capacity", which generally means SD cards larger than 2GB.
Some devices can have issues with certain SDHC cards (like my Wii and my N7B), but to my knowledge TF101 is not one of those devices.
Of course, that said, that doesnt mean some weird china-knockoff brand will work, but Lexar isnt that bad and shouldnt pose any issues imo.
So uh, yea, try reformatting it to fat32.
I've several MicroSD cards. One of them, a 16GB one, is unable to work with TF using internal slot. The card works in my PC under Linux and/or Win7, but NOT in TF using internal slot. If I plug an external SD reader in the dock USB port, card is read without any problem.
Of course my other cards work like a charm with internal slot. Why? I don't know.
My solution: use this 'special' SD microUSB card in other device and buy a new one with my TF.
My Lexar 32gb class 10 quit working suddenly as well...the past couple of days it has not been recognized when in the micro SD slot BUT when I put it in an adapter and insert it in my dock it will work just fine. The only thing I have changed was update to the latest OC ICS kernels...wonder if that's the issue?

Dock SD card slot not working

I got the dock for my TF700. Works fine for everything I tested so far EXCEPT I cannot get the SD card slot to work.
I've tried about half a dozen SD cards from 2GB to 32GB, mostly SanDisk but a couple of off brands. The TF700 does not recognize any of them. It shows the microSD in the tablet and that all works fine, but I wonder if I got a bad keyboard dock.
This happen to anybody else?
Thanks.

It is happening to me as well... I am wondering if the MicroSD card can function at the same time as the SD card on the dock... Maybe it can only handle one or the other...
I did get mine to work finally. What I did was turn the tablet off and disconnect it from the dock. Then with an SD card inserted, I redocked the tablet and started it. Then it recognized the SD card. No further problems.

[Q] Removing Micro SD Card

Alright, I want to remove a micro SD card from a phone. I know this will wipe the phone, that's fine with me. The problem I'm having is that no other machine will recognize the SD card now. I did some research, and it sounds like once the sd card gets paired with the device they "become inseparable." Is there any way to fix this? I want to use this Micro SD card on my new Surface RT, so this is extremely annoying.
Use old Nokia's Symbian-based smartphone (like E-Series or N95) to reformat that card. There is no other (confirmed) way.
BTW, sdcard are really cheap now; you may easily find a 16GB micro-sd for $10.

Menory card 64gb XC dont fit the Xoom card slot?!?

Hello!
I am trying to use a brand new Qilive 62GB XC I (class 10) memory card on my Motorola Xoom MZ605 with ICS 4.0.2 and apparently it doesnt fit in the memory card hole on the tablet... I mean i cant insert it properly in the tablet card slot... When i insert the card it goes down the card slot and thats it.. It seems its loose..
This is very strange because my SanDisk 8GB HC card fits well easy in the tablet card slot.. When i insert this card on the slot it make that click and fit well in the slot..
Are the 64Gb cards different?? It seem that the 64 Gb are bigger and thick and fatty cards...
Any help guys??

Sorry, I almost didn't see this. The Xoom was originally designed to use both a micro sdcard and a SIM card for those connected with a carrier. The 64 gig sdhc micro sdcard should have no problem working if you get it in the right slot . This is the slot closest to the screen. Be sure to face the lip on the card towards your screen(Front of the tablet).
By the way, I did this same thing and had to take the back off of my Xoom to retrieve my sdcard. So that I don't miss any questions you might have, email me at my personal email:

Though I no longer use my Xoom, I'm still here to help.

expand memory

Is it possible to use this sd card extender to expand memory and also use two sims? https://www.simore
No. (afaik) It doesn't have an microsd card reader, as it's not a nano-sim/microsd combo slot.

Can't use Micro SD card but USB type-c USB stick can be an alternative. The only smartphone that I know that can have 2 nano SIM cards and a micro SD card is the Zenfone 6
