Help install ROM

hello.
i have a htc kaiser with portuguese rom, but i would like to put the original english version.. well i want to know if it´s possible to back up the portuguese rom to a file and install the english rom.. i have already downloaded the htc eng rom on ftp xda but it doesn´t install, a error of device id apeears on screen..
is there any help ?

im not really going to get into a discussion or more to the point a flame war about symbian vs windows mobile. this is a thread relating to the magician which is in fact a windows mobile phone.
im too old to get into petty arguments. so please if you havent got anything to say regarding this particular thread, lets just keep it civil

Eu acabei de desbloquear o meu Qtek S100, que era Optimus.
Agora eu consigo fazer chamadas e mandar mensagem e receber ambas, mas no inicio continuame a aparecer o logo da Optimus, e continuo a ter o Optimus Zone no Qtek, eu gostaria de tirar isso para o Qtek ficar a 100% Vodafone.
E gostaria de meter o Windows Mobile 5.0, o meu modelo de ROM e 1.03.00 WWE
Porfavor alguem que me ajude..

Não é possivel instalar o wm5 e/ou o wm6 devido á baixa rom do qtek s100
Em relação ao ultimo rom do qtek vai ao clube qtek e saca de lá a ultima rom.
No futuro escreve em ingles no forum xda.

check htc roms on xda-ftp °°!°° but what i know theres no cooked rom with braz. or portug.

saquei a rom inglesa do ftp do VOX aqui do xda, mas vou aos settings e so tem linguagem em ingles.
No site da htc n me deixa, n aceita o serial number.Se me pudesses indicar outro link pra sacar a versão que me disseste agradecia

If you post it here, I convert it and make into usable .nbh , or, there are many posts here in this board with instructions on how to do it. Use rapidshare.com for that, in little time I upload a working rom.

I need that too.. Portuguese-Brazilian Official ROM! I got one S711 and I would like to put WM6.1 or 6.5 in it, but before, I would like to make/get a backup copy of my current rom for restore/warranty purposes.
I´m coming from Excalibur/S621 and the original Rom from HTC for S621 is easily found here. I hope this happens with S711 too. But I´m suffering to find this rom.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Eu preciso disso também.. da rom oficial em português brasileiro. Eu consegui um S711 e gostaria de colocar WM6.1 ou 6.5 nele, mas antes eu gostaria de fazer/obter uma cópia de backup para efeitos de garantia/restauro.
Eu venho do Excalibur/S621 e a rom original da HTC para o S621 é facilmente encontrada neste forum. Espero que seja assim com o S711 também, mas eu tô apanhando pra achar essa rom.

ROMs que sejam para WING ou HERALD, se tiver a mesma rom para aparelhos WING e HERALD escolha a ROM para WING.
Olha IPL E SPL:
IPL = Initial Program Loader, this is the bootloader
Seria a tela tricolor. Não é 100% necessário entender isso para iniciar o upgrade.
SPL = System Programming Language
SPL basicamente quebra a linguagem de sistema facilitando na hora de flashear.
ROMs would be for wing or herald if have ROM for them choice for wing.
Look that:
IPL = Initial Program Loader, this is the bootloader
It's the tricolor image, bootloader.
SPL = System Programming Language
SPL basicly broke the language and facility for update the Unlock PDA.

Ok, mas mesmo assim fiquei confuso, pois a maioria dos outros PDA's, inclusive o Diamond tem que fazer o processo de destravamento do SPL, atualizando para uma bootloader compatível com qualquer outra rom, ressalvando algumas exceções.
Exemplo, se eu aplicar o seu método, eu conseguirei atualizar para qualquer ROM que seja para Wing ou Herald, independente do IPL/SPL? Isto que eu quero saber.
Valeu pela paciência.
Edit 1: PS: por acaso você tem a ROM da VIVO, caso alguma coisa dê errado, para eu voltar atrás?
Edit2: Uma última pergunta, este processo do Unlock do SPL, é SPL ou USPL? Se não me engano, o USPL, toda vez que você for atualizar, você tem que rodar ele. Ele é mais seguro, mas tem essa chatice, de sempre desbloquar usando o USPL.

Ok, but still i get confused, cause most of PDA's, including Diamond you have to make the SPL Unlock, upgrading for a compatible bootloader with any other rom, with some exceptions of course.
By example, if i make using your Tutorial, i could upgrade to any other ROM for Wing/Herald, and i'll not gonna have to worry about IPL/SPL? That's my worry, and what I wanna know.

Edit1: PS: btw, you have ROM from VIVO, if anything goes wrong, to make a rollback?
Edit2: Last question, this process of SPL Unlock, it is SPL or USPL? If i'm not wrong, By USPL, every time you gonna upgrade it, you have to run it again. He is safer than SPL Unlock (i guess), but this is anoying sometimes, always unlocking with USPL.

Essa roms´s sao em portugues???

do not use this tutorial it will kill your mobile
brother i do all fine until last step, it begins to flash an 3% finished and say id invalid and now my phone are dead .
do you have solution to put phone ok ?

DPI 0816 Files - 23420 - the ones for 23064 are not available
I hope it works, I didn't flash, but I think it works, if somebody os brave enough to test please pm me
(Cozinhei uma nova ROM em Português, conforme acima indicado, não cheguei a testar no meu Kaiser, mas penso que trabalha, se alguém quiser arriscar posso fornecer por PM)
