Helllo People,
After testing several of the Rom´s available, and i mean 7, 8 different ROM´s
now i use PDAVIET ROM´S in my IMATE JASJAR
I Think it´s very stable, and it only misses the videocall
only a problem when connecting to wireless WPA itá a litle slow, but i can live with that,
to improve...speed...i have a Qtek9090 with WM5 it´s faster then the IMATE..
and of course Videocall...

about when will this come out for htc tornado
I wonder if Tornado would still be used as test device for new OS, the reason we have WM6 for our devices is because some internal WM6 tester for Tornado leaked the ROM for us, and Phil removed the ID, and others continued to improve it.
I wonder if WM6.1 is based on the same OS Kernel as WM6, then perhaps it's just the matter of porting certain files
I think WM6.1 is based on the same OS kernel as WM6.
CHOME will be standard, which is what the T-Mobile Shadow's Neo UI uses, and I think also what the cardwheel on Samsung SGH-i600 uses as well.
The CHOME stuff will take up a lot of storage so WM6.1 might fit in a Tornado, but just barely. I tried to port the Shadow ROM with CHOME completely intact, but ran out of space so I gave it up.
Does this Rom for PocketPC?
For cooking WM6.1 to Tornado we must have WM6.1 standart Rom.

I think it's better to flash a Wizard WM5 Love Rom,
Or you could try WM5SE. They are all Windows Mobile 5, tweaked for finger functionality.

I'm running WM6 from Cotulla and I like it, but I have to recharge the Magician every night while with WM2003 I recharge it every 3 days..
Do you have the same issue? Is there a fix for the "inefficient stanby"?

sadly windows mobile 6 uses alot more resources, it wasnt expected by the developers of the the phones for it to be used with anything but wm2003. i think its a cross we simply have to bear for us to have up to date phones.

I have tried SPB shell and pointui but am wondering what are you guys using, I don't want to use pocket plus it just isn't skinned enough.
does anyone use HTC touchflo (if yes where did you get the cab from?)

Honestly speaking, I don't see major difference between WWE 3.02 and 3.03, maybe somebody can enlighten me here. Though with WWE 3.03 some said certain SDIO will malfunction, so I dare not to try.
By the way, I have scheduled a well installed Sprite backup to backup my data every night 03:00 am which Cotulla told me never restore when upgrading his rom, so why should I try WWE 3.03?

If you have $, SPB Mobile Shell 3.0 is a definite better choice from my point of view.
PointUI came in free, and has been excellent since 1.0 when I use Taxist's 2.03tx rom (2.0 is even better if you choose well programmed applets)

I'm sad looking this sub forum, can't feel the speed of Cotulla's ROM anymore..
Honestly, my old magician with WWE-O3 (run @416+ MHz) works faster than my Universal (run @624MHz) for resized HD movie playback..
Now, I'm using my Gene and it's stuck @265MHz..
God, I missed that speed, that HD video playing capability, & that transparent top & bottom bar...
Cotulla's R1 WM 6.5 is the best
It's fast, beautiful and 80% fingure friendly.
