Hi,
I'm having a very peculiar problem: After installing Opera Mobile 8.65 on my Excalibur, i can't enter the registration code. I can enter all numbers, but part of the regcode is "FFF", which i cannot enter. I've tried several key combinations, tried copy/paste with a message i created, even tried copy/paste with a remote control tool, nothing works. Strange thing is, the other keys keep giving their "shifted" character, like &*$#@ and the fn and caps-keys don't work. They do this only in the Opera-window however. When i switch to another screen, all keys go back to normal. If anyone has a good idea on this, you're very welcome.
Cheers,
Richard
EDIT: OK, i found the solution! I used Vito's copypaste-tool to enter the serial, worked like a charm!
Thanks!

Hi folks,
As I have locked out my SPV-M2000 and can't figure out the keys for the keyboard (see here), I need to try and track down some of the SMS/MMS messages stored on the device.
I can still browse via my PC, but I don't know where they will be stored or if I can retrieve them.
Any ideas?
Well, changes are, if you were to copy everything off your phone, and copy them all over back to them, chances are the stuff will remain.
However, I think it ought to be best if you can solve your keyboard problem.
For your keyboard, I'm not sure how a BA works, but default a Wizard keyboard starts without Cap, and a CAP will be on until you off it. And Shift and Fn will only function while you are holding it (kinda like the Shift key on your PC keyboard). I'm not sure, probably you've got your number wrong? As I guess, you will need to use the Fn key for typing a number (not sure how your keyboard goes).
ANYWAY, I guess you aren't getting much of a respond because you've not got your info out as much as you should. First of all, it may be not as "generally" as you think. And, not all people know what a M2000 is and they don't borther to look for it. Although I hate people with multiple posts, I guess it would be good if you could repost this on the BlueAngel forum and try your luck there, eps the keyboard issue seems very easy to solve.
Hello!
I have a HTC Touch Cruise and I was testing sprite terminator, which seemed a nice (and very useful) program. However, after the instalation I introduced a password with lower and upper case and numbers. In the end, it asked me to reboot and I said Ok.
But, after that, at the beginning it asks me for a password. The problem is that the keyboard only has numbers, not letters, which makes it impossible to introduce the password (as it has letters and the keyboard doesnt).
Ive tried to introduce my PIN and even tried to introduce only the numbers of my password, but none of them worked. I just dont know what to do.
Is there anyway to solve this without performing a hard reset? Cant I use another keyboard with letters?
Help is much appreciated.
Thanks.
Look for a little triangle that may pop up the keaboard you need, if that doesn't do it, sounds like a "HARD RESET" time. Your getting as smart as me
I've found on the sprite software forum someone with the same problem as me.:

The site admin has said something of how to solve the problem, but I didnt understand it quite well. Can someone help me understand what happened and how was this problem solved?
Thank you!

Welcome to the forum
Have you tried a hard reset?
when exactly does it hit enter?
Same Issue
I am having the same problem, and yes I have done a hard reset. I bought the tilt used from ebay and it was a mess when I got it.
While texting or entering text anywhere for that matter it seems as though the keyboard is automatically inserting an "enter" or "return" so the next letters appear on the next line down.
The same thing occurs when trying to use the address bar in PIE or enter login information for messengers/email accounts. I am thinking it is a hardware issue, but any help would be appreciated.
for example, a text message would look like this:
From:
To:
Hel
l
O
ho
w
a
re y
o
u
tod
a
y
It seems to insert it randomly and also randomly "enter" in the address bar, example: when trying to go to google.com, it will end after "g" and be searcing for http://g/
EXACTLY
Mine does the exact same thing and ive hard reset and everything.
any sollution to this problem ? In my TYTN II jogg- button doesn't work too. Maybe there is a connection with this .
I found that jogg button was broken. Now everything is fine.
Hello, its been a while since i've visited these boards as I've been happily working with my Orbit2 now for about a year, without issue...
Until today!
My situation is this; for the first time I felt I needed a 'lock' on my device as I am due to start training with the army on Monday. So I found the 'Lock' application that came with the device, windows mobile standard I assume, entered a password 'test' just to try it out...only to find on the password input screen there are only numbers available so i am unable to enter my password. I can't believe it allowed me to use a password I was unable to enter
This is a hugely serious issue for me. I need use of my phone and information stored in it during the next few days as i pack and prepare to go.
Is there anyway to bring up a letter input screen on the lock?
Does anyone please have any ideas how I can fix this ridiculous problem!?
PLEASE HELP!
After some deep digging, I have discovered that hard reset is the only option.
Seems I created an alpha-numeric password, but didn't select alpha-numeric in the options!
What a horrible error, I blame bad software design! Fortunately i have a backup only a few months old...
I've been trying to hard reset it and I've tried all the button combinations on it found on the internet. And nothing's been working for me. it doesn't even prompt me to enter my gmail id and password. or if there's any specific combination of buttons to enter into recvoery mode or anyway to prompt it to enter my id and my password. it would be highly appreciated. cause i want to give this phone to my little sibling and this phone's been abandoned for years.
