Synchronization of Skype contacts - General Topics

Does anyone know of a way to synchronize Skype contacts between the PC and Kaiser? The roundabout way of exporting Skype contacts to a .vcf file into the synchronized device folder is an acceptable alternative, of course, but needs manual dumping of the Skype file in order to work.

Offline synchronisation.

Sync-ing is fine. How can I live without it? Well I often have to, and I don't like it! I work for weeks or months at a time for clients on their sites and am expected to use their e-mail and calendar systems. However (and quite correctly) many of them won't allow connection to their systems of devices that they have not supplied and configured, so no syncing of my calendar on my PDA (Orange SPV M2000). I know it is possible in MS Outlook to export and import calendar data to and from files, and the files themselves can be sent by e-mail. Does anyone know of complementary software for Pocket PC that can do the same thing, i.e. take outlook calendar data in a file and use it to sync the Pocket-PC calendar (and vice-versa). Yes, I know it is messy, but it isn't half as messy as having to manually keep the two calendars in line!
outlook let you export and import things like that
as you see fit
you can just choose to export the calender to a pst file
and then import it to a nother pc with outlook which the xda can sync with
or maybe one could send an emial from the outlook you cant synch
with invisting you to all the appointments of the calender you require to
have on your device

Contacts and SMS storage

Does anyone knows where the contacts and the SMS are stored on WM5 ?
Is there a file like outlook.pst ?

I'm also curious about this since I don't actually need to sync, only backup. I don't use Outlook and I'm not crazy about FinchSync either.

Export contacts list to PC?

Is there any way to export the win2003 contact list to a PC application? It seems that the addressbook is corrupt as I cannot filter by #ab / cde / etc.

Try Jeyo Mobile Companion (it's not free, but works pretty well) - I use it to back up all my Outlook-related stuff (contacts, SMSes, call lists), works a treat. Don't know how robustly it handles corrupted- or partially-corrupted data hives, but you could always give it a go.
If you manage to Sync the device properly with Outlook on your PC, it always copies all your contacts to your address book on the computer anyway...
I actually do not use Outlook and -Express (but Thunderbird) and I am also looking for a way to import the data. From my PC I am more easily able to update the addressbook.

Contacts Import?

Is it possible to put some kind of file, database I suppose, on my pocket PC and then import that into contacts? If so, to what kind of files should I export my Microsoft Office outlook contacts, where would I place it, and how would I team put it?
(I need to do this because my pocket PC will only sync notes and other files, it will not synchronise contacts, tasks, and calendar.)
PIMbackup will backup most everything, custom settings(some) all contacts and contact pictures to a single backup file which you can copy to another device and restore the backup.

Using BitPim to transfer your phonebook and contacts.

Is this possible? Even with Bluetooth?
Thanks
Nope, BitPM doesn't work with the Android OS.
Easiest method (the way I did it) is to export your contacts from BitPM to a .csv file and then import that into your gmail account (logged in to gmail on your computer with a web browser).
Your gmail will sync with your Android phone and all our contacts will come down.
