Well I've tried about every rom around here. Some have auto-complete for the To: field and some don't. Dutty's roms are famous for not having auto-complete for some reason I don't understand. Seems kind of odd to have auto complete for text messages but not for mms.
Besides that, I was wondering, how exactly is this auto-complete in MMS (Arcsoft) enabled? Is there an Arcsoft MMS cab with it enabled, or is it as simple as modifying or adding a registry entry?
I'm using a Dutty rom at the moment and this is my only complaint.

Arrow is there arcsoft mms composer alternative?Arrow
There is an unchecked buffer in the ArcSoft MMS Composer application preinstalled on certain mobile phones. This may allow an attacker to create a buffer overrun attack, causing malicious code embedded in an incoming MMS message to be executed.
Hi,
I've noticed that some ROMs have SMS and MMS combined, and some have separate inboxes. Is this controlled by the registry, or is it a different build of the Pocket Outlook application?
If it's controlled by the registry, has anybody got any info on what to set in order to separate/combine the inboxes (preferably separate).
Cheers,
Steve.
I want to do it too
afaik is it depending on the arcsoft version you're using. 4.2 is splitted, 4.0 and 5.0 have mms and sms together....
Hallo!
I am using the xda comet. I get my SMS delivered by MMS, also i write E-Mails over MMS.( Its free for me)
I have natively instaled the arcsoft mms composer (v4.x).
I find it VERY disturbing that i only have two lines (visible) for entering my mails.
Is there a rorkaround to have a larger input field (by installing another version or by using a modifyed template) or do you know some working MMS Composers that can be used as standard MMS Program for recieving and delivery?
Hi folks. Can someone let me know what happens with MMSs in WM6.1 with the threaded SMS inbox?
I've got an emulator up and running with 6.1. I've also installed Arcsoft MMS 4.0.40.1 for Tornado. This puts the MMS inbox as part of the SMS inbox.
I've also written a tool to backup and restore your entire MAPI contents, including MMS. This is currently working great for SMS, and works when restoring an MMS to drafts, but I'm not sure what's supposed to happen in the threaded inbox view - so I can't tell if it's working or not.
So, my question is: what happens to an mms you receive? Does it live inline with threaded view, or do most people use a version of Arcsoft that has a separate message store?
Cheers
Matt
Looking for ArcSoft MMS for Leo
anyone have and can install??
Search for any wvga arcsoft cab, and it should work. Why do you need arcsoft if you have messaging client?
as i dont like the hd2 htc messages interface..
i try to use Tweaks "Disabling HTC Messaging in manila 2.5" to disable it.. after install arcsoft. (maybe i d/l the wrong one?) .
i seen to have some problem sending out mms.. it stuck there totally and found out some bug in arcsoft is i cant select internal storge to attach image from there when i want to see out mms
HTC Messaging is not working with MMS to Blog. The pictures doesn't have a last name (extension), and will not be reconiced as an .jpg, and therefore not show in blog.
I have the Arcsoft package and I can help to convert to Cab for you to try out. However, at first you need to disable HTC Messaging using the tweak.
here you go. Just let me know if the cab is OK.
